About: I began working in professional dog boarding facilities at 16 years old, and animals have been a huge part of my life and career ever since. Over the years, I’ve worked in veterinary care, grooming, corporate doggy daycares, and professional dog training, giving me experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, personalities, and needs. I have been professionally training dogs for the past 12 years and also trial and compete with my own personal dogs. I’ve worked with everyone from young, energetic puppies to seniors who require extra patience, medication, mobility assistance, or individualized care. Many of the clients I work with today have been trusting me with their dogs for 5+ years, which is something I’m incredibly proud of. Building long-term relationships with both dogs and their owners is one of my favorite parts of what I do. My background allows me to recognize changes in behavior, health, and comfort and provide a level of care that goes beyond simply feeding and letting a dog outside. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priorities. Pet care is a big part of my daily life, not something I squeeze into my schedule. I work from home and am home full-time, so I’m able to give the dogs consistent attention, supervision, exercise, enrichment, and rest throughout the day. My schedule is built around their needs, with regular potty breaks, walks, meals, playtime, and individualized care. I keep my schedule intentionally flexible so each pet gets the attention and routine they need while they’re in my care. My property is completely fenced, offering ample space for your pup to frolic and play freely! Indoors, they'll receive the same love and care as if they were my own pet. Unless you specify otherwise, your dog is more than welcome to join me on the bed or sofa during our downtime. Because they're truly part of the family.

I have two available bedrooms that I can make available to your pet when needed during their stay. Crate trained pets are a plus, but not a must. About: My home is a dog-friendly, warm and inviting place where your special family member will be loved and cared for. I was a dog owner (lab rescues) for the last 12 years, but sadly my last guy recently crossed the rainbow bridge. I have a lot of love just waiting to be shared! I work from home so our time and availability is flexible! I love to take frequent walk and play breaks. And I am always up for some cuddle time! My yard is shady for dogs of all sizes. The neighborhood is pet friendly with lots of walking. I previously managed a pet sitting business within our Virginia neighborhood and can provide references.
