About: 🐱🐶 Animals have been my whole world my whole life! I have experience with a variety of animals from fish 🐠 to turtles🐢 as well as dogs🐕 and cats🐈‍⬛. I use positive reinforcement training techniques with our three rescue dogs and I use worship all cats techniques with our cats 😆. I am comfortable and familiar with the needs of puppies and kittens as well as senior animals. So medication💊 and physical therapy💪 exercises are something I am happy to provide! I went to college for animal behavior and animal sciences and have a degree in Ecology 🌎 I completed a 2 year course in wildlife rehabilitation. I have a flexible schedule and my own car that allows me to be an adaptive and on call care giver. I don't mind late bookings or cancelations as I understand that things come up. I am new to rover and still figuring out what works best but am always willing to work with clients on what works best for them and their pets. Animals are my first priority but I also believe homes and personal spaces are sacred and I will always treat them with respect and attention. All animals are different so its important to use to always be aware of anything potentially unsafe. Our home is for animals first and there is nowhere they aren't allowed although animal guests and clients are always fully supervised to make sure they are safe and comfortable. Our home is very easy going and has a lot of space for different needs and comforts. In your home, I will defer to your personal preferences always.

About: Hi there! I am Emily and I am 29 years old and I have had animals my entire life! I have been around all types of animals from dogs and cats to horses and pigs! I began professionally dog watching about 14 years ago and fell in love with it. I have experience with many special diets, supplements and any other health issues. I am located in the greater Bangor area but can travel further for house sitting bookings. I work 12 hour shifts on the weekends (Fri-Sun) so I am available Monday-Thursday 24/7. I can sometimes provide weekend care as my schedule and pet’s needs allow for it. Safety is my top priority. I abide by parent’s rules and can crate dogs, if crate trained. Dogs will remained leashed and collared when outside of fenced areas. Parental rules/guidance always prioritized.

About: I am a playful dog watcher and will always be engaged when your dog is in my care! I have experience training puppies as well as training dogs who are older and need some more guidance. Size of a dog doesn't matter, I have experience with dogs that are bigger than 110+ pounds and that are as tall as my waist. I have owned all different types of breeds and have knowledge about certain care some breeds might need. I have experience with labs, poodles, mastiffs, pugs, spaniels, terriers, greyhounds, pitbulls, and more. I would absolutely love to get to know your furry friend and take them out on adventures or for a simple walk through town! Your pet will never be bored or unhappy while we're together! I am a local teacher and am very excited to watch awesome pups all summer! I am walking distance from downtown Bar Harbor! I also send dozens of photos all day to you :) Accomdating your pet into my schedule is a lot easier than one might assume! I work right in Bar Harbor! Just message me for availability! I thoroughly clean my space before your pets arrival and tidy up around so there will be no issues with accidental swallowing of random objects I am currently on summer vacation as a full time teacher! I am as free as a bird for the next month! I will begin full time teaching at the end of August and will only be available during after school hours starting at 4pm. My calendar will let you know if I am away or available! Whatever special accommodations your pet will need, I will provide. Just let me know! I'm super flexible with your needs. About: I have 4 years of pet care experience professionally as well as lots of informal experience. I’m comfortable walking and sitting all kinds of dogs- different sizes, personality, and needs! I love animals and I love getting to know new dogs. I have experience with giving oral meds, working with reactive dogs, and not afraid to clean messes! I currently work Thursday-Saturday, but am available the other days of the week. I can work morning and evenings and I am flexible with scheduling I always ensure I have a secure grip on leashes so that they won’t slip out of my hand if a dog lunges or starts to run. I stay aware of my surroundings and monitor what’s on the ground and whether there are other dogs around. I am also happy to communicate with owners as much as they would like and give updates on their animals!

About: I love dogs (and cats) more than anything! I am happy to treat your fur babies to the finest care during the day, overnight, while you are on vacation, or once in awhile for walks, hikes, check ins, at your place or mine! A popular request this summer has been from folks on visiting who would like me to day sit at their campground/rv/hotel/air bnb while they enjoy the park, biking, boating or going out to eat. For boarding, My husband and I have a wonderful centrally located home in the Acadia region off the island. We have a fenced in yard and can take the stress out of leaving your pets while on vacation. Pick up and drop off can be arranged at the head of the island if requested. Wedding or event coming up? I can be your pets chaperon then too, just ask :) Need to exercise your pup? Mini day hikes available too- custom fit for your pups comfort. This summer I am taking a sabbatical to my career job which means more hiking, walks and freedom to spend time with your pet- with flexible scheduling :) While my home offers a wonderful spacious lawn and garden area for the pups with a secure 4' ht enclosed fence, pets are never left unattended in the area. Happy to board with your routine in mind in terms of crating or free range of our home and total pampering. Pet sitting at your home is welcome too!

About: Animals have always been a passion of mine. I grew up with several different animals and have always loved being around them and taking care of them! At a very young age I really wanted to work with animals and that same passion of working with them is still the same today! As of right now, my schedule varies! I could be working any shift from 6:30-2:30, 7:30-4:30, 9:15-5:15, or 12:15-5:15. I am a new mom who is trying to make ends meet but working still isn’t helping because daycare is so expensive! I am really trying to pet sit part time or even full time! My weekends and holidays are always open except for the occasional family trips in the summer! I do not have a fenced in yard at my home so that means that your fur babies will be kept on a leash when taking them outside. Your fur babies will also be kept company by 2 friendly dogs and 2 friendly cats! I also have to crate one of my dogs so I can easily crate dogs if needed!

About: I’m a dog lover and have owned several dogs throughout my life - a cocker spaniel, 2 English setters, one chocolate lab and a golden retriever. Right now I’m single, live alone and I like to travel a lot. But I enjoy dog companions and want to make myself available to help you with your dog sitting needs. I’m a daily runner so I can take your dog on runs or long walks. I live near a pond where dogs can swim, and in general I live in a safe and quiet neighborhood that is suitable for all types of dogs. I’m also a health nut, so I will only feed your dog good food and/or whatever is required of their diet.
