“It was such a pleasure (and relief) to find Niki and Zack as sitters for our two dogs! We were traveling through the area from California in our RV and were spending the long weekend with friends who couldn’t accommodate the dogs. Niki and Zack took care of medications, special diet restrictions in addition to sending pictures and daily updates. Perfect communication, perfectly happy dogs and we would absolutely use them again when in the area!”

“Agate is my first dog since childhood. We went on vacation for a week and could not bring her. I checked out the two local kennels in Ashland WI. Both were staffed with people that love animals and I'm sure would have kept Agate safe and healthy. But it appeared that both would have pretty much keep Agate in a cage alone with some breaks in a dog run. They both explained how they can't mix long-term dogs with the happy daily dogs in their fenced-in yards. The Bay Area Pet Spa & Resort would have been $43 a day (including one walk per day and a treat). Blue Ribbon Kennels was just $20 a day, but no walks and apparently little time out of her cage. So for just a little more I was happy to have Kaitlin take Agate instead. Agate got along well with Kaitlin, her partner, and their dog Diego. I'm sure Agate loved the freedom, being in a home, and being with another dog for a whole week. I only received photos one time during the week, but Kaitlin was very responsive with any questions.”

“Kareesa was a God send truly! After four years of living in the same place together (the only place my Lucy has every known)- I decided to relocate to another place about 30 minutes away. Lucy is an indoor cat and has pretty much only been around me. I decided it would be best to have her looked after during the move so I could get the new place situated for her and she not be confused with all the commotion on moving day. Her local vet was booked for boarding and then I stumbled upon Rover. Kareesa was the third sitter I reached out to and she got back to me right away. We set up a time to chat. What impressed me the most in our initial conversation is that she only watches over one fur baby at a time to give them the attention and care they deserve. She even offered to come to my home a few days before the move to meet Lucy so she would be somewhat familiar with her. I knew Kareesa was the right match. Lucy is shy around others so she found a spot at her house and pretty much stayed there. Kareesa made sure to make Lucy comfortable so she brought her things close to her and built her a fortress so she wouldn't have to explore too far if she didn't want to. It worked. She sent me a daily update with pictures. My Mom and I have decided to adopt her and Lucy approves. Highly recommend Kareesa because she is professional, empathetic and extremely knowledgeable about animal behavior. She is now my go to sitter for Lucy. FIVE STARS!”

“Melissa is excellent. She cared for our furry loved one, spent a lot of time with him, and was attentive to his special needs. We are usually hesitant to leave him with anyone but have found a trusted companion for him. Thank you Melissa!”

About: I have grew up with dogs all my life ranging from a tiny Australian terrier to a powerful German Shepard. I raised my own puppy while being an athlete in college along with my partner. Now I work a part time job while taking care of my now adult miniature schnauzer, Apollo I’m currently working part time and I’m available mostly Mondays-Thursday while taking a class on the side. I am fairly available through out the entire day, but I do have errands to run throughout the day meaning your beloved dog will be left alone anywhere from 1-4 hours during the day. I have a fenced yard and a friendly and energetic miniature schnauzer. I will feed dogs separately and provide individualized attention. I am also comfortable giving medications. If wanted, I will provide photos, updates, and answer any concerns you may have.

“Christina was very friendly. Our active dog had lots of stimulation and got plenty of exercise. Christina was flexible with our drop off and pick up times, too.”
