About: I have spent many overnights at homes while providing pet care. The durations of these stays have been up to a week. I do very well with following clear directions for feeding, medications, as well as other pet care needs. This includes affection and playing— I absolutely love dogs and cats! I am a teacher, which of course is a very busy job. However, I do not work over the summer, which means I have lots of flexibility in these months. I am also available during most weekends! I care for pets in my clients’ homes by following instructions regarding feeding, medications, going outside, as well as anything else that may be necessary! When owners are gone, I recognize it is best for the pets to keep their routines as consistent as possible! I respect any rules clients may have for their pets (e.g. where around they house they are allowed, any dietary limitations, and any necessary precautions to take so that the pets stay safe!)

About: I’ve grown up caring for animals my whole life. I raised my own dog from puppy to 15 year old senior citizen and have been taking care of my friend’s and family’s dogs and cats for years. Whether your pup needs a brisk walk or a trail run, or your cat needs company while you’re away, I bring the same care and attentiveness to pet care that I bring to the hospital. I understand how important your pets are to your family, and I’m here to treat them like my own. I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes, temperaments, and medical needs. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, following special diets, and maintaining a calm presence with shy or anxious pets. I currently have a flexible academic schedule and I work hard to fit in pet care throughout the day. I am almost always available first thing in the morning and in the afternoons/evenings and my mid-day availability varies by academic term From walks to house-sits, I follow the simple tenants of 1)“treat every animal as if they were my own” and 2) “treat everyone’s homes with the utmost respect”. Pet owners know best what their animals need so my top goal is providing whatever care that may be, safely, and in the environment that best suits each pet and owner.

About: My mother is a veterinarian with her own practice, so I grew up around an abundance of animals and know plenty about caring for them. My career allows me to choose my own schedule, I don't usually have shifts longer than 5/6 hours long. This allows me to take dogs out for walks or to a dog park, or I can just go home and hang out with my cat. I have a large fenced in yard with access to woods, plenty of local trails for dog walks, local lake of your dog likes to swim. Dogs and cats in my home, but there's a good sized guest bedroom that is kept closed of from the rest of my home if you have a pet that is less friendly with others.

About: Being a long time animal lover, I love spending my time walking and training dogs. I’ve worked at various animal hospitals, doggy daycares, and boarding facilities. I am willing to travel, and it would be a great perk if my 3 year old lab could come play or walk with your pup as well! My schedule is very flexible. I am willing to travel, and am open to schedule changes to work with your needs as well. I can do holidays as well as weekends with a planned notice. All I want is for your pet to feel comfortable and have a great time playing and/or going for a walk. Engaging shy/fearful dogs with toys and treats is always a great way to earn trust.

About: I raised/trained a puppy several years ago, and I've been pet sitting since I was 14. I am also a very active person, and I love running, walking, and playing outside with dogs. I have work shifts no more than a few hours on select days. If your dog cannot be alone for a few hours, I can almost certainly find a friend or family member to watch them while I am out. I am happy to house sit as well if you are on vacation. I will make sure your dog feels comfortable, well loved, and properly entertained. I am very trustworthy and diligent with regards to schedules and special instructions. If boarding, please bring an item from home that your dog feels connected to (could be a bed, favorite toy, blanket, etc).

About: I am a current medical student in the area who has had dogs around her for her entire life. I have experience with small, medium, and large dogs of all breeds. I am responsible and quick in an emergency. I am also familiar with lots of walking trails in the area! I am a 4th year medical student with a pretty open schedule. Reach out with any inquiries and I will try to accommodate your needs! For pet sitting, I am available to stay at your home to keep your pet company as well as take them outside as often as needed. About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have been caring for them since I was a young girl. They’ve always been a part of my family, so I’m comfortable with everything from dog walking to pet sitting, feeding, and even bathing. Whether it's playing with puppies or giving extra attention to senior dogs, I want to make sure each pet feels comfortable and loved. My schedule is pretty flexible! During the week, I’m available after 5 pm, mostly for dog walks. On weekends, I’m free all day and can help with dog walking, pet sitting, house sitting, or whatever your pet needs. We had a few rotations of sitters to cover the several weeks we were gone (family and a neighbor), and Valerie was definitely the most experienced of them all. Our one cat takes a pill daily, and while he takes it just fine for his mom, he wasn't taking it for the sitters. Valerie came up with safe, creative ways to get him to take his pill. She also left wonderfully detailed check-in notes and was very communicative. About: Hello! I started boarding for Rover when I was at Northeastern University and met so many amazing pups and owners! It's so fun to have a companion to bring with you on outings, swimming, and hiking. I honestly think joining Rover is one of the best decisions I've made! In June 2020 I finally adopted a puppy of my own, Rhubarb! She's very friendly and loves playing with other dogs and cats. I'm excited to be offering pet care services again, and think that Rhubarb will be a great companion to any pet who might stay with us. I work full-time out of the home so they would have to be comfortable staying home alone with my dog for up to 8 hrs if the stay included weekdays. About: I have taken care of my neighbors dogs and cats since I was around 8, (I am now 18), whenever they have needed me. I have always been the most loving animal person and will always take up an opportunity to take care of dogs! I’m currently working part time, and also in school for cosmetology. I am available Sundays and Saturdays all day, and Tuesdays and Thursdays after 3pm. I have grown up owning dogs of all sizes and lots of breeds and I recognize their emotions.
