About: Hi! I’m Katy, and I would love to care for your pets while you’re away. I’m a full-time music therapist, which means patience, attentiveness, and compassion are a big part of my everyday life. I bring that same calm and caring approach to every animal I look after. I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just relaxing company, I’m happy to meet them where they are and make sure they feel comfortable and safe. About: I’ve been caring for dogs, cats, chickens, horses, cows, you name it my entire life. I’ve had small dogs such as chihuahuas and as big as English mastiffs. I’ve dealt with giving dogs medication and bathing for medical reasons. I’m currently working part time for a few hours a day. I will be home 90% of the day to be able to care for your pets! I have a five year old husky mix who is the sweetest baby. She follows me everywhere. She is crate trained and goes out without a leash. I would do whatever was needed to make sure your animal is in a safe environment and well taken care of.

Proper leashing depends on the size and weight of your dog. I am mindful of your pets physical needs and limitations. If your dog has medial conditions or is older please consider booking shorter walks. Weather is also an important factor within dog walking. If weather is too severe and I do not think it is safe for your pet … I will ask you to reschedule. Please check the weather before booking. I am mindful of your pets body language, and other cues during our walk. If I am sensing something may be upsetting your pet … I will contact you immediately. No need to provide poop bags … I always bring extra. Caring for pets on a walk involves a combination of proper equipment, consideration of their physical needs, attentiveness to their behavior and respect for the environment. I have had a variety of pets my entire life- cats, dogs, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, horses, etc. I am a very active person so no dog is too much for me! I am a Soccer Coach who has a pretty flexible schedule and plenty of free time. I have experience with dogs of all sizes (my last dog was a large husky with a sassy & loving attitude) but I have lots of experience around different breeds of dogs, and cats. I can be flexible to different dietary needs, times for medicine, or any other special requests an owner might need for their furry friend. Overall I love dogs so this is a great job for myself and I look forward to helping you care for your pets. I work some weekends for the college sports teams but most of the time my schedule is pretty flexible! When I come to your house I will never open an outside door without your pet being somewhere safe and secure so they have no chance of getting out without a leash (unless it’s a fenced backyard!). I will always make sure to follow any instructions left for me to make sure your pet is as comfortable as can be!

I have both experience with big and small dogs, as well as dogs that are a little bit bigger and stronger. I also have experience with elderly dogs as well. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10. I love dogs more than I do people. I feel terrible when dogs are left home alone, so I won't let that happen. I am currently a college student. I have set aside time in my days to care for your dogs. There may be certain times I cannot care for your dog, but I will block that off in my calendar. I live off campus with 3 other dog lovers. No need to worry about misbehaving college kids. The house where dogs will be cared for has 10 plus acres of safe fenced off areas. Dogs will receive the best care from me in or outside of my home.

About: I have always had a huge appreciaton for dogs. I find it awesome that you can train dogs to help people in the world such as police dogs and service dogs. I love dogs of all different shapes and sizes. I have helped family and friends take care of their dogs while they had errands or were going out of town. I will follow any rules you have to take care of your loving animal. I will accept any dog into my home and take them on walks and make sure they have their potty breaks and make sure they’re being fed according to a schedule you may or may have not set.
