“Aaron provided amazing service exceeding all my expectations! His communication was excellent sending updates everyday even multiple times a day. He offered FaceTime calls with my furry friend and treated him just like family! I will definitely rebook and I advise anyone else to do the same!”
“Brianna was great with our dog, Comet! She clearly loves dogs and took such great care of him, sending us regular updates of Comet over the three days he stayed with her. We will definitely be repeat clients.”
“My dogs have never had such an easy drop off! They instantly bonded with Julie’s friendly dogs and went off to explore. A great experience for our dogs. We’ll look to book again with Julie!”
“I can’t recommend her enough! She was so sweet and kept me updated the entire time with tons of pictures and messages. Cooper had an absolute blast at her house, especially playing with her dog. It made me feel so comfortable knowing he was in such good hands. We will definitely be booking with her again!”
“Victoria does a fantastic job of taking care of our dog, Bailey. Victoria provides regular updates, and I know Bailey loves the attention he receives. We'll definitely be booking Victoria again.”
“Millie had a great time at Tracy’s. Tracy was excellent at communicating with us and letting us know how Millie was doing. Millie had fun with all her friends there.”
“I came to meet Melissa about a week before the sit and my dog Lila felt comfortable with Melissa and her black lab who was all about fetching a ball. The location is perfect next to a wooded area with a spacious back yard. I very much appreciated Melissa comforting Lila when I was leaving because she gets anxious when being separated from her close family. She was a happy girl when I came to pick her up! I’ll definitely use Melissa’s service for future times when I’m traveling.”
About: Hi, I’m Kendall! I’ve been caring for animals my whole life and have been providing pet care through Rover since 2023. I’m a proud cat mom to Topaz and Turbo, and I believe pets thrive with a balance of love, exercise, mental enrichment, and consistency. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and one-on-one doggy daycare for personalized attention. I enjoy learning about animal behavior and training, and I love helping pets stay active, confident, and engaged. I also have experience caring for very young animals, including bottle-feeding newborn kittens. When you trust me with your pet, you can expect reliable care, regular updates, plenty of affection, and someone who treats your furry family member like one of their own. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I also am now a GoodPup Certified Trainer. I have plenty of time to give your all of your furry pets all the love and attention they will need while you are away. My schedule is updated regularly and I will be sure to fit my schedule around your needs once booked. One question I always ask my clients is “how long can your pet be alone?”. I adhere to those guidelines. I have plenty of experience with dogs & cats. I have dog/cat and house sit for the last several years for clients when they were out of town on vacation. I promise to provide your pups or kitties with safe, loving care.

“Kelly was great. Our dog Maizey was a little nervous with new surroundings but you could tell Kelly is a true pet lover and Maizey felt secure and happy around her. Unfortunately our trip got cut short by a day but Kelly was flexible and was easy to communicate with. Would recommend her 100%.”

“Natasha was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Beans! From the very beginning, she was kind, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure Beans was happy and comfortable. We loved getting updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious that Beans was well cared for and received plenty of attention and love. We came home to a happy, relaxed pup, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would happily book Natasha again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable pet sitter. Thank you, Natasha, for taking such amazing care of Beans! 🐾💕”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their North Salem home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your North Salem.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your North Salem sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
