About: I have a dog of my own and understand the responsibility that comes with taking care of your pet. I’ve always had many of pets throughout my life and would love to add your pet to my extended family. I am looking forward to showing your pet the love and attention that all humans and pets need. I live an active lifestyle so I am always out and about taking my dog on a walk. Whether it’s morning, afternoon, or night I will be walking with my pupper and would love for your pet to come along for the ride. I am a frequent attendee at the dog parks and as long as your dog is vaccinated I’m sure they would have a grand time there as well. I can feed, walk, run, and even pick up your dogs poop. I understand the responsibility that comes with pet care as I have a dog of my own who I’ve raised since he was a wee pup. I am able to work with pets of all sizes as many of my friends and family have had me watch their pets while they were away.

About: I grew up in a household full of dogs and cats and a turtle! This lifelong exposure taught me that every pet has a unique personality and specific needs. For the past few years, I’ve specialized in in-home pet sitting, offering both daytime visits and overnight stays to ensure your pets feel secure in their own environment. I am particularly experienced with high-energy and reactive pups. My own 'wild' puppy has taught me patience and various positive reinforcement training techniques, so I’m well-equipped to handle strong pullers or dogs who get a bit nervous on walks. Whether it's a calm senior cat or a zoomie-prone puppy, I know how to keep them engaged and safe. As a college student, my schedule is incredibly flexible. I have the ability to step away for midday walks or check-ins, ensuring your pet is never alone for too long. During the summer months, I am out of school and only work a part-time job one day a week. This means I have nearly 24/7 wide-open availability for housesitting, extended stays, and frequent drop-ins to keep your furry (or shelled) friends company! I understand that your home is your sanctuary. I pride myself on being extremely cleanly and respectful of your space. My goal is to leave your home exactly as I found it (if not a little tidier!). Beyond the house, your pet's safety is my #1 priority. I am hyper-vigilant during walks and always adhere to your specific household rules regarding furniture, feeding, and routine. I treat every 'pet child' with the same love, attention, and protection I give my own, so you can have total peace of mind while you're away.

About: I am a loving mother of 2 and I will care for your pets as if they were one of the kids. I have dog sit before and loved it. When I was younger I use to volunteer at the animal shelter with my great-grandma and that's the reason I love animals today. I have flexible hours and can work around your schedule, anything you need I can do from dog baths to walks at the park. We also adopted a cat a couple of years ago, and we just love him to pieces. We also just adopted a dog that we have previously sat for. I’m looking to go do more things with the kids this summer so we will be able to fit in daily walks or anything needed I live in a well apartment community, with a few dog parks within! I currently work at a nursing home, my boyfriend and I work opposite schedules so someone is always at home with your fur babies. Also with it being summer I have my two kiddos help out. I will make sure each animal has proper care including a clean safe cozy shelter, clean water, regular bathroom breaks, going on walks for at least half an hour, who knows it could be longer, and so much more!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for family friends and neighbors since I was very young. I also have a lot experience with cats, as I own one myself! I graduated with a B.A. in environmental and marine science in 2023 and worked as a zookeeper for two years. I am currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to take care of your pet! I am available during mornings and evenings depending on the day I am not able to care for pets in my home. Both of my cats are quite old and do not do well when around other animals.

About: I’ve taken care of neighbors’ dogs since I was a kid. I have worked with anxious older dogs, puppies and high energy breeds. I am also comfortable giving medication. I’m a runner who loves the outdoors so a walk or run with your dogs sounds like a great summer day. I’m currently working part time so I will have lots of time to play with your pets! I’m a runner and love everything outside so a walk or run with your dog sounds like a great way to spend my afternoons! I don’t have any other pets at home. I don’t have a fenced in yard but can keep them on a long leash if that is necessary. I only work for a few hours a day so your dog will spend most of it’s time with me.

About: Meet your new petsitter: I’m Sarah and I have a long love and familiarity of animals stretching back to my childhood. Personally I have owned and cared for a wide range of four-legged friends including cats, dogs, reptiles, rodents, and horses. Meeting and caring for your furry friend would be my delight. My services are open right now for dog walking and dog/cat/reptile in-home visits. But that’s not all! I’m also an excellent communicator with YOU and will keep you well-informed and updated on your loved ones while you are on your trips, ensuring a load off your mind so you can fully enjoy and concentrate on your time away. Right now, Rover pet care is one of my top priorities along with a part-time job that has a varrying schedule. When I am not scheduled at that job, I basically stay with the animals for the full day, sometimes leaving for things like gym time and grocery store visits. While walking your dog I will ensure they get enough time to get their energy out, sniff their outdoor curiosities, and tossing around a toy or two wouldn’t hurt! For in-home dog/cat visits, I’ll be sure to play, feed, and spend time with your furry family to ensure they stay happy, safe, and healthy for your return. I really enjoying the play-time aspect of dog sitting. When doing my in-home overnight visits I basically spend all of my time with the animals when I’m not asleep. About: I know how hard it is to leave your beloved fur baby and I want you and your pet to be happy, knowing they're in good hands. I am patient, gentle and affectionate with animals and want them to have a great experience whenever I am with them. I love feeding animals and giving them treats, but I am respectful of the client's wishes and will strictly follow all feeding instructions. I am physically in shape and able to walk/jog with your dog and go on long walks (I also live near the Pufferbelly trail). I will play tug, fetch or whatever game your dog enjoys. I am willing to take your dog on car rides and to the Huntertown dog park upon client request. I have a golden retriever that loves to play and go for walks, so if you want some socialization for your dog, I can also bring him along. My dog will only come by request of the client. I do have 2 cats in my home, so I can only board dogs who are cat (and dog) friendly. Otherwise, I am more than happy to come to your home and care for your dog(s).

About: I recently lost my senior disabled dog and would love another pet, however I am still healing and need time. With that said, I would love to open my home to any dog who needs it. I have experience in caring for senior and disabled dogs, especially blind ones. I have also reared and house trained two puppies to adulthood and are still with my family to this day! They can walk unleashed (never with your babies tho!) and know many commands, even protective ones! I love dogs and hope this can be mutually beneficial. I am currently homebound so your doggy will have my full undivided attention! I go on daily walks in my neighborhood and in nearby parks twice daily but can be updated to your liking! There are dedicated playtimes and space for your doggy also! I always have leashes and body vest on the door at the ready for any potty breaks and walks, no fence no problem! Stairs and basements will be blocked off all times to ensure safety and rooms will always remain closed. For house guests, we have an end table crate to ensure they're never in a dark corner alone, which also allows for visibility when I am just resting. There are also have regular metal crates and a spare room dedicated to any overwhelmed doggy.

I have experience with multiple dog breeds, cats, small animals, as well as farm species, such as llamas, horses, sheep, and cows. I adore all animals and just finished my third year pursuing a degree in animal science. I love meeting pets of all types and ages and getting to know their different personalities! Whether I’m taking them for a walk, dropping in for dinner and playtime, or hanging with them for a few days, I will provide careful attention to your pets’ specific needs. Your pets will always come first and I am dedicated to ensuring their comfort and your peace of mind. I will be in Fort Wayne throughout July and August for a part-time internship, but I have a flexible schedule. I am available to stay with your pets during the day and/or overnight, as well as just dropping in a few times a day to walk and feed.
