About: The truth is; i am gifted when it comes to animals. But dogs are my heart. They are clear communicators, and when their needs are met, they are a joy. All ages and breeds welcome. Can also offer gentle or strict parenting/training/guidance on request. Pet care is simple; ensuring the animals safety and specific needs are being met, while also paying attention and being aware of their cues. A constant combination of attentiveness, exercise, hygiene, and nutrients. Plenty of love and clean water, always. Caring for animals is about being present. Being in tune with both their needs and desires. For my fur babies, I always make sure that their needs are taken care of before my own, just like a child. If the parents of the fur babies I am caring for have specific instructions, I am great at that as well. You know your babies better than anyone.
About: I have been taking care of animals since I can remember. If it wasn’t our pet dogs or cats, it was our chickens, livestock, and even rescues. I am currently a college student with a part-time job that usually takes up only four hours out of my day. The rest of the time I am home, studying or out on walks and runs. I would love to have company when I do go for my strolls. We have a fenced in yard that as well separate small dogs and large dogs. As well, a play area for the pets to socialize if granted. Treats are given to pets for their cuteness, unless dietary restrictions.

“Melissa was kindly available for a last minute doggy daycare for my two dachshunds. She gave me updates on my dogs while I was at work, which i appreciate greatly. Thank you for the great dog sitting”

“Bruna was the best sitter we’ve ever had and she kept in contact frequently with updates. She took care of my Yoshi like it was her own and my buddy knew it too. He was well taken care of, I will book again with her.”

About: The companionship of my pets has always meant so much to me. As a homemaker, I have the time to provide them with the best possible care, including their health, nutrition, love, and plenty of affection. Your furry baby will be in the best hands and will be treated as if they were my own. I have a senior Jack Russell at home who loves having company just as much as I do. Your pup's tummy comes first, so their stay includes special treats such as pet-safe ice cream, duck treats, dog cookies, peanut butter, and only purified water. If your pet prefers their own diet, you are more than welcome to bring their food, and I will be happy to serve it according to their routine. My home has a fully fenced backyard where your furry friend can safely enjoy playtime and outdoor activities. I also have plenty of toys and cozy dog beds for them to relax and take a comfortable nap whenever they need one. My daily schedule is very flexible, as I spend most of my time at home. This allows me to easily incorporate pet care into my routine without any issues. Your dog will have constant supervision, regular potty breaks, playtime, and rest throughout the day. I am able to follow your pet’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, and any special needs to ensure they feel comfortable and at home. Hello! I'm Paty, and caring for animals is something I truly enjoy. Since I spend most of my time at home, your furry family member will receive constant supervision, love, and personalized attention. I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. I treat every dog as if they were my own, providing plenty of affection, playtime, and a calm environment. My home has a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play, and I have cozy beds and toys to keep your pet happy and relaxed. I also share my home with a friendly senior Jack Russell who is accustomed to other dogs. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I am happy to follow your instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and daily routines. You can expect regular updates, photos, and messages during your pet's stay, so you always know how they're doing. My goal is to make your pet feel at home while giving you complete peace of mind. About: Hello! I take dog sitting seriously and safety is my number one priority. Your dog will always have someone around to give it lots of attention and affection. I do everything I can to to meet the needs of your dog to assure they are safe, comfortable, and having fun. I live alone and have a pretty big house where the puppers or kitties won’t get bored, I have a fenced back yard where they can go to town! Besides that I am just a very patient individual who loves animals. I work from home so I have a very flexible schedule. I make my own schedule in accordance to what is best for my service. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: HOUSE SITTING: I would just like to clarify the services that I am to provide to you (according to ROVER guidelines) when I’m HOUSE SITTING. A lot of people get a bit confused regarding the actual service we are to provide because rover does not do a very good job defining each service. House sitting is essentially OVER NIGHT sitting, a sitter comes and stays over night to watch over your pup/pups/pet and leaves in the morning. I usually take an over night sitting as an 8hr shift, so if I come at 10PM, I leave at 6-7AM. Unfortunately, house sitting is not a service where the sitter stays at your home over night and comes to check on your pet several times a day, those would be “drop-in visits” and you would need to book those :). I understand it could get expensive, so In cases where the client lives really close to me, I am willing to work with you, just contact me :). I usually take care of pets the same way I do with my family dog. With kindness patience and attentiveness. Snacks as well, unless instructed other wise.
“April is so sweet and helped me out with doggy day care at the very last minute. Lucy enjoyed her stay and was played out when I picked her up :) April sent several photos during the day which made me feel comfortable and connected. Thanks!!”

Till next time!”

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your North Alamo commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
