About: I've been an animal lover and pet companion my entire life. I worked in veterinary hospitals previously and have achieved the highest possible volunteer status at Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter. I am experienced in working with animals from a wide range of backgrounds and needs, and I pride myself in providing care that keeps your furry family members safe and comfortable. I am an excellent communicator and very dependable, so you will never be left feeling in the dark or wondering what’s going on while your pet is in my care. I've cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds as well as cats, rabbits, reptiles, rodents, fish, horses, chickens, and goats. I am comfortable and experienced caring for seniors, pets with special needs, allergies and dietary restrictions, and pets that require medication. I hope that my experience with an array of animals of varying medical and behavioral profiles leaves you feeling confident that your family members are in good hands with me! I work remotely, making me capable of caring for your pet(s) in your home or my own. I have flexibility with my schedule, so I can accommodate most feeding, exercise, and break routines your pets are used to! I have a fenced yard on 1/3 of a acre, live in a quiet neighborhood near a paved trail, and am half a mile away from a small local dog park. Our pets are part of our family, and your pet is, too, while in my care! My two dogs and three cats are all allowed on furniture and beds. We separate everyone for feeding (and as needed when there are furry guests staying with us), and each animal in my home or that I care for experiences lots of snuggles, play time, exercise, and plenty of peace and quiet as well.

About: Hi! I’m Peyten, and dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with pets and currently have two dogs of my own, so I know how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your dog like family. While I’m new to Rover, I’ve spent years watching friends’ and family members’ dogs and figured it was finally time to create a profile and help other dog owners too! I work from home full-time, which means your dog will get lots of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day — not just quick check-ins. We also have a fully fenced backyard, and my dogs and I love walks, hikes, park trips, and spending time outside. Whether your dog is high-energy or prefers couch cuddles, I’m happy to match their vibe and routine. I’ll always follow your care instructions closely and make sure your pup feels safe, comfortable, and right at home. I’m also happy to send updates and photos during their stay if that’s something you’d like! Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine since I work from home full-time and already care for my own two dogs every day. My schedule allows for regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of supervision throughout the day — not just mornings and evenings. We’re active and love getting outside for walks, hikes, or park trips, but there’s also plenty of downtime for dogs who prefer a calmer routine. I’m happy to follow whatever routine or schedule the owner has for their dog to help them feel comfortable and at home. Since I work from home, I regularly let my dogs outside for fresh air and playtime throughout the day, and we usually fit in walks, hikes, or a game of fetch at the park during the week.

I love playful and energetic animals, but I also have a special soft spot for seniors who need a little extra patience and love. I'm detail-oriented and attentive. I can follow a strict medical or feeding schedule as needed. Communication is a huge priority for me. I will keep you posted and reassured with daily updates and photos. I have plenty of time to give your pet attention and care. This is useful for pets with separation anxiety or those who need medication during the day. I share my home with two small dogs, so it's important that visiting pups are friendly. They enjoy playing, but are happy to give your pup space as well. We have a fenced backyard and a doggy door for easy outdoor access, but if your dog isn't used to one, I'm happy to let them in and out as needed.

I’m active and spend a lot of time outdoors with my husky mix, Nugget, so your dog will get plenty of attention, exercise, and care. I prioritize safety, reliability, and communication, and I tailor my care to each dog’s individual needs and routine. Whether your pup loves adventure or prefers a calm companion, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, and care. I’m able to accommodate morning, midday, and evening routines, and can be flexible depending on your dog’s needs. Whether your dog needs consistent daily care or occasional help, I’m happy to work with your schedule. I have a fenced yard with a dog door, so your dog can go in and out as they please, or I can close it off if you prefer. My dog (a husky) loves being outside and often relaxes on his outdoor bed, but I also have multiple dog beds inside and outside so your dog will always have a comfortable place to rest. We stay very active with multiple walks a day, and I usually bike with my dog once a day using a harness and leash for safe exercise. If that’s something you’d like for your dog, I’m happy to include that as well. I always adjust to each dog’s needs, comfort level, and routine to make sure they feel safe and at home. I also have seat belts and harnesses in the backseat of the car for the dogs while driving.

Over the last 20 years, I have taken rescues off of the streets and rehomed them... and with Maxie my schnauzer, I just knew he had to stay with me! I grew up in a typical suburb in St. Louis, Missouri and always helped watch neighbors pets and children and have done it through college, post college, and presently speaking. I am extremely reliable and timely. I treat others loved ones as my own. I don’t have any allergies to pet hair or dander. I have regular clients through word of mouth and am looking to add a few to my roster. I love watching all types of animals! I currently volunteer at Heart of the Valley animal shelter in Belgrade, MT offering enrichment, walks, and sleepovers to pups that need some extra love. I also foster through Prairie Song Rescue in Wilsall, MT. I might have a foster pup at my house. I only watch well socialized, nonreactive pups. I work for myself and make my own schedule but also work a part time job at the airport. I have a lot of flexibility and love spending time with animals and being outdoors. My dogs are very friendly and love to play. I am very active. If you request house sitting I can’t be there 24/7. I enjoy hiking everyday and hope your dogs can come with me. I understand some folks want their dogs to stay at their home. I just want to share I will still need to be gone parts of the day taking care of my dogs as well as other daily life tasks and my part time job. I prefer boarding at my home overall but can accommodate house sitting. I live in downtown Belgrade with my husband. We have a large fenced in yard at .4 acres and a doggie door. We have three wonderful dogs; a mini Aussie, a golden retriever pit lab mix, and a lab pointer mix. I have a separate, personal, insurance plan for pet daycare & boarding, with expanded coverage for client pets. I am happy to share my certificate including all limits for general liability, vet care, human medical coverage, damage to property, and more. I also know how to perform CPR on pets.
