Over: Ik heb sinds mijn 10e voor de twee honden van mijn grootouders gezorgd. Daarnaast heb ik twee katten die ik dagelijks verzorg. Naast huisdieren heb ik ook aardig wat ervaring met andere dieren. Ik heb vorig jaar namelijk tijdens mij reis in Costa Rica vrijwilligerswerk gedaan in een Animal Rescue Centre. Hier was ik ‘in charge of’ de brulapen. Super vette ervaring! Naast brulapen hadden zij ook dieren als luiaarden, honden, herten, alligators, etc. Momenteel ben ik net gestopt mijn opleiding Psychologie aan de Vrije Universiteit en werk ik parttime voor de GGD. Huisdieren verzorgen past makkelijk in dit schema! Thuis heb ik twee katten die momenteel niet veel verzorgen nodig hebben, behalve eten, drinken en héél veel aandacht natuurlijk. Mijn katten hebben op dit moment het meeste baat bij de aandacht die mijn gezin en ik hen geven. Ze beginnen nu wel richting de leeftijd 10 jaar te gaan, maar ze hebben nog geen mankementen (gelukkig).

Over: I have been in love with dogs since I was 12 but I could never have mine so I love to take care of lovely dogs. I trust them more than humans. I will be quite flexible in the summer. Mainly not available on weekends and won't be in Amsterdam from the middle of a guest till the 5th of September I can not host the dog in my place but I am open to taking care of them in their places one of my best I is a vet so I always try to update myself in conversation with him.

Over: Ik woon vlakbij het Rembrandtpark in Amsterdam en elke dag loop ik door een waar hondenparadijs. Helaas is mijn appartement net te klein om een hond in te houden, en is Rover daarom een perfecte tussen oplossing! Mijn liefde om naar buiten de natuur in te gaan en de fantastische plekken hier in de buurt voor honden zijn denk ik de gouden combinatie voor een leuke logeerpartij. Het Vondelpark is namelijk ook nog geen 10 minuten lopen. Ik heb zelf veel opgepast op honden van vrienden en vroeger thuis ook honden gehad. Ik heb een voorkeur voor de wat grotere honden, ook met de wens om zelf later een grote hond te hebben :) Het lijkt mij fantastisch om lekker buiten te gaan wandelen en te gaan spelen met jouw hond en zo alvast te oefenen voor later! Over: I grew up in La Pampa, Argentina with a childhood filled with dogs and cats, and my own beloved 6-year-old fox terrier, I have practiced my skills as an exceptional pet sitter since very young age. I am always alert to any circumstance that could put them in danger and I try to play with them as much as I can. I live in a studio that’s why I cant have medium/big dogs boarding.

Over: Sinds een aantal jaren heb ik een diepe fascinatie voor het verzorgen van honden gekregen. Van het opvangen van de honden van familie en vrienden tot het helpen in een asiel voor achtergelaten honden in Portugal, ik wil helpen waar ik kan. Vanaf dat ik klein was wilde ik al een eigen hond, maar omdat ik genoodzaakt ben veel te verhuizen kan ik een hond op dit moment niet de stabiliteit bieden die hij/zij nodig heeft. Ik denk dat Rover me daarbij kan helpen :) Vrienden van mij zijn hondentrainers en ik loop op dit moment veel verschillende hondenrassen tegen het lijf met elk een eigen karakter. Ik leer hierdoor heel veel over men eigen omgang met honden maar ook over de interactie tussen honden onderling. Ik kan hierdoor goed gedrag inschatten en op basis daarvan de juiste keuzes maken zodat een hond zich veilig voelt. Op den duur zou ik me graag bij mijn vrienden hun bedrijf willen voegen maar voordat het zover is zou ik graag nog meer ervaring willen op doen met betrekking tot hondenverzorging. Ik wil graag dat zoveel mogelijk honden de verzorging krijgen die zij nodig hebben en ik wil daar een helpende hand in bieden. Op dit moment werk ik parttime en ben ik veel bezig met muziek. Hierdoor zijn er momenten waarop ik er zelf voor wil kiezen om werk in te plannen en omdat ik veel ervaring en passie voor het verzorgen van huisdieren heb zou dit perfect in mijn leven passen. Ik wil ernaartoe werken om op den duur hondentrainer te worden en zou graag veel ervaring willen opdoen in de omgang met veel verschillende honden. Ik ga heel graag met honden naar het bos of strand en heb zelf een auto waar een bench in zou passen. Als ik een nieuw dier leer kennen dan zorg ik er altijd eerst voor dat deze zich veilig voelt door niet gelijk de interactie aan te gaan, maar door eerst te kijken wat het dier in mijn bijzijn doet. Als er eenmaal een vertrouwensband is, dat gaat vaak heel snel, dan geef ik het dier graag affectie of voer ik simpele commando's uit. Soms geef ik daar een beloning voor. Huisdierenverzorging vergt inzicht in verschillende soorten omstandigheden en ik kan goed werken met verschillende situaties en dieren. Als het dier wat ouder is ga ik mee met het tempo dat hij/zij aangeeft en als hij/zij jong is dan kan ik een goed uitdaging of uitlaatklep bieden.

My experience has shown me that with patience and love, any cat can become a cherished companion. Animals require fixed punctuality and times - not as leisure as us. Routines to potty breaks and feeding times are important followed by love and general care. I tend to be vigilant like I would for a child. Keeping on top of dietary needs and being sure to “puppy-proof” in a proactive and regulated way is critical. Especially with older animals being sometimes more sensitive or requiring more awareness - I try to communicate in such a way that our fur babies communicate comfortably with me what it is they need always.

I have had lots of experience with all types of animal care and I love being active but also love a cute snuggly pet I am mostly home and plan home days when I'm doggy sitting, so the pet will never be alone. I am also very flexible with my schedules so provide the best care for a dogs needs With dogs I take walks depending on the schedule the dog is used to and the care differs greatly based on what the dog needs in that moment of that day. For both dogs and cats we ensure a save and peaceful environment.

Over: Ik heet Monique en ik woon met mijn man en twee dochters van vijf en negen jaar in Purmerend. Ik en mijn dochters houden enorm van honden daarom heb ik de fantastische “baan”” hondenoppas. Bij mijn thuis kan je je hond spelen, rennen, slapen, en heerlijk knuffelen met de allerbeste knuffelbare lieve kinderen en mij. We houden ook heel erg wandelen en op onderzoek uit gaan en natuurlijk ook heel veel spelen in onze ruime achtertuin. Inmiddels komen elke week drie vaste lieve honden als dagopvang. Naast dagopvang kan je hond ook bij mij logeren. Logeren is voor sommige honden heel spannend dat ik graag in de avond bij je viervoeter blijf zodat ie geen stress of bang is. Jou hond zal altijd en elke dag alle liefde en aandacht krijgen net als mijn eigen hond. We zoeken het liefst honden die kindvriendelijk zijn en gewend zijn aan kinderen. Dankzij Pawshake heb ik al op tientallen honden gepast van klein tot groot en het is altijd geweldig om te zien dat de honden genieten en dat de baasjes heel tevreden naar huis gaan. Daar doe ik het voor en natuurlijk voor de warme knuffels van uw hond!! We hebben ook een hondje Rosie en ze houdt ervan om met andere hondjes te spelen. Ik heb puppy's gehad tot oudere honden en ik kan daarnaast ook medicatie geven aan uw huisdier. Stuur mij een leuke berichtje via Rover. Heel veel liefs van ons. Extra dienst die ik erbij doe wat in de prijs inbegrepen is dat ik elke dag updates stuur over je hond en daarbij leuke foto’s/filmpjes van je hond. Door deze extra ben je altijd dicht bij je viervoeter. Ik ben een flexibele honden oppasser. Elke dag thuis en elke dag beschikbaar. Dagopvang start in de ochtend vanaf 7:00 tot 18:00. Logeren vanaf 14:00 tot de volgende ochtend om 12:00. Ik heb een grote afgesloten tuin en een lieve hond. Elke week heb drie vaste honden die langs komen voor dagopvang. Daarnaast heb ik twee dochters dus je hond heeft alle gezelschap en liefde.

Over: Vanaf mijn 5e jaar zorgde ik al zelf voor mijn konijntjes. Dit is later veranderd naar mijn eigen honden, kat en eigen paard. Hierdoor heb ik veel verantwoordelijkheid leren kennen en heb ik genoeg ervaring opgebouwd met honden katten en paarden Momenteel heb ik een flexibele baan/opleiding. Hierdoor ben ik flexibel beschikbaar. Het is van belang dat uw huisdier soms een werkdag alleen thuis kan zijn (max 8 uur). ‘s middags worden uw huisdieren door mij standaard lang uitgelaten. Ik verblijf in een rijtjes huis op de eerste verdieping. Ik heb een balkonnetje met een paar fretten die in een kooi zitten. Mijn hondjes slapen zelf op de bank in de woonkamer maar ze mogen soms ook de slaapkamer in.
