Sky heeft zich heerlijk vermaakt, ook sky was gewoon op vakantie. Hij was heel relaxed en Cristina en haar man waren heel lief voor sky, hij komt heel graag terug! Ik raad Cristina iedereen aan Sky has been staying out for the first time in his entire life. I found it very exciting, but were well supervised. I got an app every day with pictures and how it was going. Sky had a great time, Sky was also just on vacation. Groetjes van Serge Momenteel werk ik alle dagen van de week op de maandag na vanuit huis. Ik zou dan bijvoorbeeld tussen 12:00 en 13:30 uur tijd hebben om met je hondje te gaan wandelen. Ik woon samen met mijn partner in een appartement in het centrum van Purmerend. Tot voor kort deelden we onze woning met onze 2 Schipperkes. Ze zijn eerder dit jaar overleden op een respectabele leeftijd van 16 jaar.... We zouden graag weer hondjes nemen, alleen dan op de wat langere termijn. En ondertussen zou ik graag je hondje bijvoorbeeld tussen de middag kunnen uitlaten. Daarnaast zou ik bij mij thuis een aantal dagen op een kleinere hond kunnen passen. Ik zeg kleiner, omdat ik een relatief kleine woning heb zonder tuin. Maar er zijn zat groenvoorzieningen in de buurt om met je hondje te kunnen wandelen.
“We waren best gespannen om ons hondje Blizzard voor het eerst bij een onbekende achter te laten, maar vanaf het eerste contact met Shaima hadden we meteen een goed gevoel. Ze was ontzettend warm en liefdevol, en haar ervaring met honden straalde er vanaf. Dat stelde ons enorm gerust. Tijdens het verblijf hield Shaima ons dagelijks op de hoogte met lieve berichtjes, updates en leuke foto’s. Ze nam echt de tijd om ons mee te nemen in hoe het met Blizzard ging, wat we als heel prettig hebben ervaren. Ze stelde gerust vragen wanneer dat nodig was, wat haar zorgzaamheid en betrokkenheid alleen maar bevestigde. Wat we ook enorm waardeerden: Shaima merkte dat Blizzard soms wat vaker naar buiten moest omdat hij het niet altijd even goed kon ophouden. Ze heeft zich daar meteen op aangepast en is meerdere keren korte wandelmomentjes met hem gegaan. Zo lief, ze keek echt naar wat hij nodig had. En het allerbelangrijkste: Blizzard had het zó naar zijn zin, dat we bij het ophalen bijna het gevoel kregen dat hij liever nog even bij Shaima bleef. Op de foto’s en video’s zagen we ook hoe blij en ontspannen hij was, en hoe liefdevol zij met hem omging. Wij komen zéker terug bij Shaima. Het was voor ons (en voor Blizzard!) echt een ontzettend fijne en warme ervaring. We raden haar met alle vertrouwen aan!”

Over: I've been around dogs my whole life. My family's first was a Jack Russell Terrier, followed by a Bichon, and my sister has two Bichons of her own. Dogs have always been part of my day to day, so I'm completely at ease minding them and making sure they feel safe and well cared for. This year, my partner and I adopted Nori, a lil Iggy. Raising him from a pup has sharpened my hands-on ownership skills. Everything from house-training to managing his wild personality. He's energetic, and always up for making a new friend, so if your dog enjoys company, he'll make a good pal. Italian Greyhounds are renowned for being clingy so I'm well used to giving a dog my full attention throughout the day. I work from home full-time, which means your pet won't be left alone for long stretches. If they need someone around consistently I think I’d be a good fit Pet care fits naturally into my day since I work from home full-time. Mornings start with a walk, often down to Sarphatipark, followed by regular breaks throughout the day for toilet, play, and outdoor time. Evenings bring a longer walk. Your dog won't be left alone for long stretches; consistent attention is just part of how my days already run. I follow each dog's normal routine - feeding, walks, meds, wherever we are. At home, they join Nori and me around the flat. Never left alone for long. I also live with my partner Abbie who's just a trustworthy and similar lover of dogs so there will always be 4 eyes on your pet :)

Ik ben opgegroeid met katten, een hond dat uit een asiel is geadopteerd (labrador x stabij) en daarna een border collie x australian shepherd. Zelf heb ik ook kort voor een rescue gezorgd, helaas is deze niet meer bij mij. Ik zou daarom graag weer vaker op honden passen. Wandelen en hardlopen doe ik in m'n vrije tijd al best veel of graag, maar liever samen met een hond (hardlopen met de hond zou in overleg zijn / afhankelijk van of de hond daar behoefte aan heeft). Ik vind het ook heel leuk om te helpen met het trainen, te begeleiden bij hersenwerkjes/puzzels etc. Ik plan graag een kennismaking met jou en je hond(en) in om alles te bespreken. Een proef dag, middag, of overnachting is ook altijd mogelijk. Ik heb tevens (niet in die zin gekwalificeerd of professioneel, maar wel persoonlijke) ervaring met de wat ‘lastigere’ honden en deze zijn in principe en vooral in overleg ook welkom. Het aannemen van meerdere honden van verschillende baasjes gedurende dezelfde periode zal altijd in overleg zijn en ik heb zelf ook de voorkeur om de honden vooraf met elkaar kennis te laten maken. Hi, my name is Hanna! Living in the east of Amsterdam, near Amstelstation (so easy to reach by both public transport and car + there’s an elevator available in the building). I grew up with cats and dogs, and also have looked after a rescue dog for a while who sadly is not with me anymore. I'm excited to look after dogs again more often. I also really enjoy teaching dogs new things or guiding them with puzzles, brainwork etc. I’m looking forward to plan a meet and greet with you and your dog(s) to discuss whatever is necessary. A trial day or night is also always possible. I also have some experience (not in that sense qualified or professional, but personal experience) with behaviourally challenged dogs, which are also welcome but that obviously would require a discussion to see how and what the dog needs / to what extent. Accepting multiple dogs from different owners during the same period will only happen in discussion with the owners and will require a meeting between the dogs beforehand. I’m currently in the process of making this my full time job, so I’m home pretty much full time (besides for groceries and an occasional appointment obviously). So if you have a dog that needs a bit more active supervision or can’t stay alone yet or for not that long, I basically have all the time and presence your pet needs. I live in an apartment that’s decently sound-proof. There’s an elevator present in the building. I have 2 crates set up and also a fence throughout my place, so if needed I can keep the dogs separated when I have multiple dogs. At the moment the max I can keep at once would be 3, but that does take some extra consideration if they do go together if it’s the case they are dogs from different owners. Having 2 together would be more common than 3. Doors of the crates are generally open during the day, so if your dog isn’t crate trained (yet), that’s fine. Sadly I don’t have a garden, but I do have time, so I also like to just be outside with your dog as if we’re hanging out in a garden (I have multiple long leashes as well, so they can also do then do their thing in a safe manner if it’s not in a fenced area).

Over: I grew up around dogs my whole life, so I’m very experienced taking care of them. Since moving to Amsterdam, I’ve regularly pet sat for friends here, everything from quick drop-in visits to longer stays of up to 15 days. I live in a big apartment with my partner, who also loves pets, so we’d be two people looking after yours and it would rarely be alone. We’re close to Erasmuspark, great for walks and playtime, and our place has a big balcony too. I work from home most of the time and only go to the office once a week, so I’m around most days. Happy to take dogs on long walks, or just spend lots of time at home if it’s a cat! Sleeping in the bedroom with me is totally fine, or the living room if your pet prefers sleeping on its own. We currently don’t have any pets of our own. I can do both during the week and weekends. Right now I work from home 4 days a week and I go to the office once a week. This is flexible though, so I can also stay home full-time if needed. I love giving lots of affection and spending quality time with the pets in my care. I do have an active social life, but when I have an animal with me, I try to stay home as much as possible so they feel accompanied and don’t feel alone. If it’s a dog, I really enjoy long walks, so I’d take them along with me. I prefer looking after pets at my own place, but in some cases I’m also open to pet sitting at the owner’s home. As for sleeping, I’m flexible, they can sleep in the bedroom with me or in the living room, whatever they’re more used to. As for pets, I don’t own any currently.

Spending time with dogs of friends' and family is always a joy. Having just moved to Amsterdam I am eager to get to know the city, it's parks and local residents! What better way than through the eyes of its furry inhabitants! Ik heb een tijd op een ranch in Duitsland gewoond waar we twee Australian Shepherds en een Border Collie hadden. De Aussies heb ik grotendeels vanaf pup opgevoed en met onze Border Collie, die een lastig verleden had, ben ik ook meerdere keren naar de hondenschool geweest. Daardoor heb ik geleerd goed om te gaan met verschillende karakters en gedragingen. Daarnaast heb ik vaak opgepast op de Jack Russell van een vriendin tijdens vakanties en andere momenten. Ik hou van lange wandelingen, avontuur en actief bezig zijn met honden — vroeger nam ik ze zelfs regelmatig mee tijdens het paardrijden 😊 Ik ben geduldig, rustig en speels, maar durf ook duidelijk en consequent te zijn wanneer dat nodig is. Medicatie geven is geen probleem en ik sta open voor alle soorten honden. Ik geloof niet echt in “slechte rassen”, iedere hond is anders en verdient een eerlijke kans en liefdevolle begeleiding. Verder heb ik een auto, dus uitstapjes of ophalen is vaak mogelijk. En ja… als een hond graag bij je op bed kruipt voor extra knuffels, dan vind ik dat helemaal gezellig 🐾 Momenteel heb ik nog geen vaste baan, waardoor ik veel vrije tijd en flexibiliteit heb. Daardoor kan ik huisdieren veel aandacht geven, wandelingen plannen en mijn dagelijkse routine aanpassen aan hun behoeften Ik zorg voor een rustige, veilige en vertrouwde omgeving voor ieder huisdier en heb een omheind tuintje. Ik geef veel aandacht, houd rekening met hun karakter en behoeften en zorg voor duidelijke structuur, veilige wandelingen en goede verzorging

I currently have a 30 kg Goldendoodle, Willow, whom I’ve spent the past two years intensively training as my service dog. Through this, I’ve gained lots of experience with obedience, consistency, positive reinforcement, routines, and understanding dog behavior. I’m also very comfortable with larger, energetic dogs and providing plenty of exercise, structure, and, of course, cuddles! 🐾 I work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule and am around throughout most of the day. Dogs in my care get plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and cuddles. I normally take Willow on three longer walks and two shorter walks each day, so your dog can easily join our routine. I’m also happy to adjust my schedule to your dog’s usual walking, feeding, and sleeping routine so they feel as comfortable and at home as possible. 🐾 Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always make sure any dog staying with us feels comfortable around her. Since I work from home, dogs are rarely left alone and get plenty of supervision and attention throughout the day. I follow each owner’s routines and rules closely and will always take the time to help your dog feel safe, relaxed, and at home. And obviously will send pictures throughout the day of your pup; as a dog owner, that’s what I’d want as well!

Over: I began working with animals in 2016 through Paws and Claws, an independent daycare and dog walking service in the UK. My responsibilities included walking, feeding, and caring for dogs throughout the morning and afternoon. I was also responsible for pick-up and drop-off, which involved being trusted with access to clients’ homes. Alongside this, I carried out house calls to help socialise dogs or check in on those who didn’t require a full day of on-site daycare. At the daycare facility, I comfortably handled groups of up to ten dogs of varying breeds, sizes, and temperaments on walks in the local woodlands. As demand grew, I expanded my services to include house and pet sitting across several nearby villages and towns. Over the years, I have cared for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs, and I am also happy to tend to gardens or house plants when needed. After moving to Utrecht for my studies, I began offering my own dog walking and pet sitting services to pet owners that I met in the city or at surrounding walking spots. During my time in Utrecht, I also worked for a local hondenuitlaat service, which gave me experience with a lot of common (and some less common) Dutch breeds. A few years later, I am now living in Amsterdam, working full-time with dogs at a fantastic farm facility outside of the city, and finishing up my Master's degree. I work a few days a week at a dog daycare organisation on a rural farmland property outside of Amsterdam. On my working days, if I am looking after a dog, I like to bring them with me so that they can socialise with the pack. All transport is done using a fully converted, dog-friendly wagon with additional AC (and lots of cookies!). If a dog needs to be left alone or doesn't get along with other dogs, this can also be easily accommodated during the day in a safe, penned-off area at the facility. On my days off, I am entirely flexible and work from home while finishing my Master's thesis, making my routine highly compatible with dedicated pet care. I live with my girlfriend in a large, multi-room apartment in the Rivierenbuurt neighbourhood of Amsterdam. The location is convenient for dogs and humans alike, being just a short walk from several metro stations and with easy drop-off outside via street access. We are lucky to be located just a stone's throw away from Beatrixpark and Martin Luther Kingpark, with the Amstel and the Amsterdamse Bos close by, providing some wonderful green spaces right on our doorstep for daily walks. Our apartment has two balconies (one of which gets the sun all day long ☀️☀️☀️) and plenty of comfy space inside for dogs to relax. All my dog guests get an entire room to themselves to ensure they have their own quiet and safe space to rest—unless, of course, they prefer to cuddle up with us on the sofa or in bed... Because of my professional background managing packs, safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities, whether looking after a pet in my home or yours.

“We waren best gespannen om ons hondje Blizzard voor het eerst bij een onbekende achter te laten, maar vanaf het eerste contact met Shaima hadden we meteen een goed gevoel. Ze was ontzettend warm en liefdevol, en haar ervaring met honden straalde er vanaf. Dat stelde ons enorm gerust. Tijdens het verblijf hield Shaima ons dagelijks op de hoogte met lieve berichtjes, updates en leuke foto’s. Ze nam echt de tijd om ons mee te nemen in hoe het met Blizzard ging, wat we als heel prettig hebben ervaren. Ze stelde gerust vragen wanneer dat nodig was, wat haar zorgzaamheid en betrokkenheid alleen maar bevestigde. Wat we ook enorm waardeerden: Shaima merkte dat Blizzard soms wat vaker naar buiten moest omdat hij het niet altijd even goed kon ophouden. Ze heeft zich daar meteen op aangepast en is meerdere keren korte wandelmomentjes met hem gegaan. Zo lief, ze keek echt naar wat hij nodig had. En het allerbelangrijkste: Blizzard had het zó naar zijn zin, dat we bij het ophalen bijna het gevoel kregen dat hij liever nog even bij Shaima bleef. Op de foto’s en video’s zagen we ook hoe blij en ontspannen hij was, en hoe liefdevol zij met hem omging. Wij komen zéker terug bij Shaima. Het was voor ons (en voor Blizzard!) echt een ontzettend fijne en warme ervaring. We raden haar met alle vertrouwen aan!”

Ik ben opgegroeid met katten, een hond dat uit een asiel is geadopteerd (labrador x stabij) en daarna een border collie x australian shepherd. Zelf heb ik ook kort voor een rescue gezorgd, helaas is deze niet meer bij mij. Ik zou daarom graag weer vaker op honden passen. Wandelen en hardlopen doe ik in m'n vrije tijd al best veel of graag, maar liever samen met een hond (hardlopen met de hond zou in overleg zijn / afhankelijk van of de hond daar behoefte aan heeft). Ik vind het ook heel leuk om te helpen met het trainen, te begeleiden bij hersenwerkjes/puzzels etc. Ik plan graag een kennismaking met jou en je hond(en) in om alles te bespreken. Een proef dag, middag, of overnachting is ook altijd mogelijk. Ik heb tevens (niet in die zin gekwalificeerd of professioneel, maar wel persoonlijke) ervaring met de wat ‘lastigere’ honden en deze zijn in principe en vooral in overleg ook welkom. Het aannemen van meerdere honden van verschillende baasjes gedurende dezelfde periode zal altijd in overleg zijn en ik heb zelf ook de voorkeur om de honden vooraf met elkaar kennis te laten maken. Hi, my name is Hanna! Living in the east of Amsterdam, near Amstelstation (so easy to reach by both public transport and car + there’s an elevator available in the building). I grew up with cats and dogs, and also have looked after a rescue dog for a while who sadly is not with me anymore. I'm excited to look after dogs again more often. I also really enjoy teaching dogs new things or guiding them with puzzles, brainwork etc. I’m looking forward to plan a meet and greet with you and your dog(s) to discuss whatever is necessary. A trial day or night is also always possible. I also have some experience (not in that sense qualified or professional, but personal experience) with behaviourally challenged dogs, which are also welcome but that obviously would require a discussion to see how and what the dog needs / to what extent. Accepting multiple dogs from different owners during the same period will only happen in discussion with the owners and will require a meeting between the dogs beforehand. I’m currently in the process of making this my full time job, so I’m home pretty much full time (besides for groceries and an occasional appointment obviously). So if you have a dog that needs a bit more active supervision or can’t stay alone yet or for not that long, I basically have all the time and presence your pet needs. I live in an apartment that’s decently sound-proof. There’s an elevator present in the building. I have 2 crates set up and also a fence throughout my place, so if needed I can keep the dogs separated when I have multiple dogs. At the moment the max I can keep at once would be 3, but that does take some extra consideration if they do go together if it’s the case they are dogs from different owners. Having 2 together would be more common than 3. Doors of the crates are generally open during the day, so if your dog isn’t crate trained (yet), that’s fine. Sadly I don’t have a garden, but I do have time, so I also like to just be outside with your dog as if we’re hanging out in a garden (I have multiple long leashes as well, so they can also do then do their thing in a safe manner if it’s not in a fenced area).

Over: I’m a highly experienced dog owner with 9 years of hands-on care, having raised my dog from puppy to adulthood. I understand energetic, intelligent dogs well and provide consistent, attentive care. I work from home, so dogs are rarely left alone and get plenty of supervision and interaction throughout the day. We live in a house with a garden, offering space to play and relax safely. My household includes two children on a part-time basis, both familiar and comfortable with dogs, creating a calm and social environment for any visiting pet. Over: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My family had three dogs over the years, and I looked after each one from puppy all the way to senior age, including all the extra care and patience that comes with an older dog. Most recently, I took care of a dog that needed daily medicine and treatment for a ripped paw pad, so I'm comfortable with health routines too, not just walks. I've also worked as a dog walker and sitter, and whether it's your dog or my own, I treat them all the same way: like family. As a freelancer, I mostly work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility during the day. That means I can fit in walks, feedings, or check-ins at times that actually work for your schedule, not just early mornings or evenings. It also means I'm not rushing between appointments, so your dog or cat gets my full attention while I'm there. When pets stay with me, they have plenty of room to settle in. My apartment has a big, spacious living room and kitchen area, and I usually set up a cozy corner just for them so they always have a safe spot to retreat to, while still being free to roam and explore the rest of the apartment. I let them explore at their own pace and approach me when they're ready, rather than the other way around. I might try to make contact with a treat here and there, but I never force it if they're not comfortable yet. For walks, I'm lucky to live close to three parks, so there's always a good spot nearby to stretch their legs.
