To continue caring for my regular Rover clients, there may be times during the day when I'm away from the home for a few hours to complete scheduled drop-in visits, walks, attend class, or take care of other commitments. Outside of those times, your pets will receive plenty of attention, exercise, potty breaks, companionship, and personalized care. If your pet requires constant, around the clock supervision or cannot comfortably be left alone for several hours, please let me know before booking so we can discuss whether I'm the right fit. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, puppies, senior pets, and multi-pet households, and I'd love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family! I'm a student with a flexible schedule and keep my Rover calendar updated to reflect my availability. I'm available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits throughout the week. About: Hi! My name is Alaina and I work part time at a dog daycare, so I’m around all kinds of dogs every day—big, small, shy, energetic, you name it. I’m also certified in dog behavior and first aid through my workplace, a nationally recognized dog daycare and boarding company. I have a lot of hands-on experience with different temperaments, and I’m especially comfortable working with nervous or reactive dogs though my favorite are working breeds! I focus on reading body language, keeping things low-stress, and helping each dog feel safe and understood. About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. For the past eight or so years I’ve been pet sitting for family and friends. I have had several pets since the age of 6 and have always gotten along so well with them. I have since then gotten a couple of dogs and a cat who have had the best times of their lives being under my household! About: For the past 30 years, animals have been an important part in my life. I have had horses, dogs, cats, chickens, and other different types of animals over the years. The last 7 years, I have only had dogs for pets, and I care deeply for each of them. I am a responsible pet owner, who couldn't imagine a life without my family of fur babies. From feeding, bathing, brushing teeth, to getting pup cups at the dive thru, I have done my best to meet all of their needs. I have also house broken many dogs, and I have trained many dogs to do tricks as well. I have had to care for older dogs, and I have had to put eye drops and give extra care when needed. I understand how much a pet can mean to the family, and truly care for mine. They are an important part of my life, and they are my family. I work full-time, but live close to work. I can provide most care on the weekends and Thursday and Friday, but I only can provide walking after 5pm on weekdays. I do come home at lunch, and I let my pets out at lunch everyday. I have a fully fenced backyard, and 3 dogs, one small, one medium, and one large. These dogs get along great, and will be able to play with your dog as well. If crating is needed, it is always an option as well. The dogs are welcome to sit on the sofa with me, and my little one sleeps with me in my bed.

My passion for animals led me to spend over 8 years working in the veterinary field as both an assistant and receptionist, where I provided direct care to pets. I’m very comfortable administering medications, handling special care needs, performing basic grooming and cleaning, and managing any other tasks required. I truly love animals of all kinds and would be honored to care for your babies as well! As a musician I have lots of availability throughout the day when you might need help. When I am not in evening music rehearsals or out of town on a gig, I am here in OKC and ready to help! The short answer is simply because I love animals and from a very young age I wanted to work with animals and I wanted to help them. My passion has always been about helping animals so I helped anyway I could. I first started out working at a Pet Grooming Salon and there I bathed the animals, it was an awesome learning experience and I loved it! I am a firm believer that things only set in motion when it's time for them to happen, I tried to force my dreams into happening sooner and it never worked but I still wanted to find a way to help, even if it wasn't this big dream I had envisioned. I reached out to ASPCA, I participated in fundraisers for the Bella SPCA Foundation, I have rescued a few cats over the years and I began pet sitting for my family and friends and anyone who I could get my name out to and all the while working at a job that I was good at but it never fed my soul. "There is the most dangerous risk of all, the risk of not doing what you love, on the bet that you can buy yourself the freedom to do it later." This year my dream set in motion and I became in a position where I can focus on a Career working with animals full time.
