About: Hi, I'm Emily! I've had animals my whole life and truly love being around them. I grew up on a dairy farm and have always been surrounded by pets. I currently have three border collies and a cat, so I'm used to high-energy pets and keeping up with different routines. I've also raised a few litters of puppies over the years, so I'm comfortable with all ages and stages. Whether your pet needs playtime, walks, feeding, or just some company while you're away, I'm happy to help however I can. I'm calm, dependable, and always make sure animals feel safe and cared for. I work full time during the week, but I’m available for pet care in the mornings, evenings, and on weekends. I enjoy starting and ending my day with some animal time—it fits naturally into my routine since I already care for my own pets every day. I have a fenced yard area for safe outdoor time and a quiet indoor space where your pet can relax away from my own animals if needed. I always focus on keeping pets comfortable, secure, and stress-free—whether they're at my place or I'm visiting yours. I follow your care instructions closely and treat every animal with patience, kindness, and respect.

About: I grew up on a small hobby farm, where my love for animals began early. After high school, I started working at a large boarding and daycare facility and immediately knew I had found my passion. For over 16 years, I’ve worked hands-on with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’m highly experienced in pet safety, canine body language, illness recognition, and overall pet care. Whether your pet needs playtime, patience, or a little extra TLC, I’m here to provide reliable, knowledgeable, and loving care—just like I would for my own. I work a steady 8:00–4:30 job while my wife heads to work later in the morning around 9:30/10:00 so your pets won’t be left alone for long stretches of the day. Mornings start with potty breaks, breakfast, and some play before I leave, and my wife is home to give extra love and attention before she heads out. In the evenings, I’m back for long walks, dinner, and plenty of snuggles to wind down the night. Weekends are even better—I’m free for extra walks, playtime, and all the cuddles. We enjoy going to our permanent camper on the weekends (only with owner approval) which also has a fenced in yard! I share my home with several of my own friendly dogs(in all sizes), which means visiting pets always have built-in playmates! I have the ability to crate any of my dogs if necessary. My secure, fenced-in yard provides a safe space for supervised outdoor time, whether it’s for exercise, play, or just relaxing in the sun. Because I’m experienced in managing group dynamics and reading body language, I ensure that every interaction is positive and stress-free. Having a pet-friendly home environment allows me to provide a level of comfort, safety, and routine that helps your dog feel right at home. When we are gone pets must be able to be crated or go in their own bedroom. We have a spare bedroom with a bed and camera, to ensure we can monitor how your dog is doing while we are away.

“Amy Koppelman is the one to hire for your dogs and cats. Truly the best! We've had Amy meet both our dogs and our cats; she brings out the best in them, tends to their nail clipping and walking as needed, lets our cats in and out and even returned to let one of our cats back in...takes care in feeding, watering, cleaning the litters and asking about all the specifics needed. She takes the time to update us (complete with pictures) and we couldn't be more pleased or delighted to have Amy in our pocket. Our pets love her. We can go out of town feeling peaceful - the best part! Wonderful value and the utmost of professionals. A gem.”
