About: I’ve had animals from childhood and love learning about all of their special requirements so that they thrive and are happy. I’ve received multiple trainings in pet first aid and never leave the house without being prepared. I have room in my schedule morning, lunch, and evening walks and feeding. I have limited space to take your dog to my home for boarding. I have plenty of property but would keep your dog on a leash when going outside. I have two dogs who are very dog friendly and make friends easily. They just love to chase the ball and love life. I am extremely conscientious; my dogs are very well cared for. I bring that same level of care to everything that I do.

About: Hi, I’m Abigail! I recently moved back to the Hudson Valley to develop my career in the environmental field. I’m currently working part-time at a native plant nursery. When I'm not spending time nature and with plants, I love caring for animals! Growing up with animals in my household ranging from cats to dogs (to even turtles and birds) has given me an affinity to not just adore all types of animals, but has given me the proper skills to understand the responsibility of caring for an animal. I understand that all animals are unique in what makes them feel comfortable and loved and will always do what is best to ensure the safety and comfortability of your pet! For dogs: - A meet and greet would be a great idea beforehand to get to know both you and your dog, so I can provide the best service possible! - I love being outdoors as much as I can, so I plan to take your dog for long walks as much as I can! - As for potty breaks, I think three times a day is the absolute minimum. Once in the morning, afternoon, and before bedtime. However, if I am not working, I can take them out as much as you/they desire! - Maintaining your pets feeding routine is very important to and I take special care to be considerate of any special dietary care you dog needs. - Lastly, I know it can be hard for some animals to be separated from their loved ones. I will make sure they are feeling loved while they are under my care. For cats: - I currently care for an orange tabby rescue, named Hugo, who can be a bit needy, (although him being special only makes me love him more!), so I understand that cats can require a lot of attention and love, and I will ensure to give them plenty while they are under my care. - Cleanliness is very important when caring for cats, as the owner and of a cat, I know my cat can get upset if his litter box is not kept in pristine condition, and when caring for your cat I will do the same! - Diet is just as important for animals as it is for humans. Feeding your pet according to their needs is something I will take seriously. I work part time, Wed - Sat, however I can be pretty flexible to accommodate your schedule. If I am unable to meet the needs requested I will be sure to give as much notice as possible. In a clients home, I like to keep things tidy and work within the boundaries discussed with the client. Cleanliness is important to me and I appreciate staying in homes that are kept in generally good condition. I try to mirror the animal's usual routine in a home and prioritize everyone’s comfortability.

About: I’ve owned and cared for a variety of pets. Cats, dogs, amphibians, reptiles and beyond! I’ve been a healthcare worker since the age of 17 and have been a nurse for over 10 years. My full time job is flexible within reason to take some time to explore opportunities that provide personal enjoyment. Litter scooped daily and there’s always time.. for laser and play time! Four dogs whom are all on and off leash trained. Crate trained as well as house broken. All up to date on shots. If the situation allows, the dogs always come on just about every adventure apart from work. My partner trains horses so they are always enjoying running the vast paddocks offered at farms and playing with all of the horses and dog friends! Always stocked up on water with travel bowls and plenty of toys, we always have a blast wherever we go! Ps. They also love water! Fed two meals per day and of course bones and treats!

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. We have a 2 year old golden puppy. Who rested as if she’s part of the family. She is soo loved and so spoiled. I also worked at a groomers shop so I have a lot of experience with different dogs. I am currently working part time and attending short days at college four days a week. I have a lot of free time though and especially on my weekends I have a lot of time At home my dog has a perimeter collar so she is free to wander about our yard as she wishes. When I am dog sitting I always have the dog on a leash and I stay outside wi he them the entire time they are outside

About: I have been around dogs all my life. My dream job is being around animals especially dogs of all breeds and all sizes. I use to board, walk and care for dogs in my neighborhood. My parents breed German Shepards! I helped my dad trained them as well. I love keeping dogs active and showing them all the love. I work full time at the local Hospital and my availability would be Friday to Sunday right now it will open more up in july I would take them on walks. I have big back yard which is fence in. I have other animals that would keep them Company. I will show them all the love is what a dog needs.

“Dakota was so good with our 2 dogs. They both have strong pray drives and the walking trails are thru the woods so it can sometimes be challenging to control them. They warmed up so fast to her and their walks together went really well. She always gave detailed reports of the walks and sent photos….I really like that ? She is a pleasure to talk to and she has a large dog of her own which gives her that experience that only dog “owners” have. I will definitely be recommending her to friends.”
