About: I grew up on a farm in Lowell. We always had plenty of cats and dogs to play with. And I have always loved animals. I have experience with watching dogs regularly for a home with 13 dogs so that has been quite the adventure but I love it. I love to give them treats and play with them and just plain spoil them with attention. The owner was concerned about them taking to a new person but they took right to me. Pets do seem to take to me well. And now I am looking for more furry friends so I hope you will contact me! I work from home and I make my own hours. So I am quite flexible. I can do overnights or day visits or walks. I am in Newport Center village but am willing to go within 20 minutes depending on the job. For overnights on a regular basis I may do about 25 minutes away. If you are in Newport Town, Newport City, North Troy, Troy, Jay, Coventry, Irasburg, and Derby these are all well within my area. Others like Brownington, and Barton and Albany and Derby Line and maybe Craftsbury are possible depending on situation. As far as safety, and trust, I mostly do sitting in the client's home so I will do whatever the client wishes, and make sure the pets are safe.
“Haley is the best! She was great staying with Boone and very patient with his anxiety. And I appreciated her providing updates and pictures that made me feel less anxious being away.”

“Faye was a great dog sitter! She was on time, communicative, and flexible with our changing schedule. Our dog was on medication that prohibited strenuous exercise and Faye was very mindful of taking short and calm walks with our dog. I would definitely use Faye again next time I am in the area.”

“Margaret watched our home and 3 year old lab while we were out of state for a weekend. Everything was perfect. Margaret sent updates and photos throughout the weekend and kept us at ease while we were gone. Doug was lucky to make a new friend!”

“Maria was fantastic with Juniper and Grace. Really. She shared regular photos (good ones too!) and videos so she put us at ease so we could enjoy our time away. She is a real professional and easy going too. It was always a pro”

About: I am a lifelong animal lover now retired and enjoying home and pet sitting for a wide range of pets and locales. I have cared for dogs from 8-80 lbs, cats and hens. This includes administering medications for many of the dogs and cats. Having worked as a Realtor for many years, I ensure your home is also properly tended. All reviews from pet owners have been 5/5 and are available upon request. As a retired person I am available 24/7 to home and pet sit. I have been traveling to pet and home sitting engagements around the Northeast region. I am active, fit and conscientious. My interest is in homesitting having a background that includes work as interior crew in the yachting industry as well as 13 years as a Realtor in Florida. These experiences required high standards of cleanliness and responsibility for property.
About: I promise to keep your fur baby safe and happy as can be while you're away. I will provide playtime, walks, cuddles and a lot of attention. I am very interactive and not afraid to be goofy in order to make a genuine connection with your pet. Don't be afraid to leave me detailed instructions- I get it and have fur and feathered babies of my own! I am able to walk up to 2 to 3 big dogs at a time and feel confident in my abilities to give commands and appropriate rewards/disciplines. If your pet(s) gets dirty, I will bathe them as well as clean up any messes that occur. I also will keep your home sweet home neat and tidy so you never come home to a mess. I have grown up with pets and have always owned one or two.. okay, maybe 3 at a time. I make genuine connections with animals (wild ones, too) and would love to give them the opportunity to get outside all season long (even in the winter). If your pet would like an adventure buddy and companion who will distract them from your absence then give me a shout. Feel free to contact me with questions and concerns. I would be more than happy to chat with you!
“Hayley was excellent in every way. She was reliable, communicative, organized, and quickly earned our trust. Our dogs took to her right away. She sent photo updates regularly, and we returned home to happy dogs and a clean house. We would definitely engage Hayley to care for our dogs again.”
