“My poodles love Nancy! My wife and I felt a little bit jealous when we realized our dogs don't miss us at all when we leave them with Nancy. To put it in context, our dog, Shadow, is a rescue pup and has separation anxiety -- normally when we go somewhere (or, even worse, leave him with a pet-sitter) he sits tragically by the door for days on end waiting for us to return. Not so when Nancy comes to stay! On the last trip we returned from which Nancy pet-sat for, the dogs could barley be bothered to get up from their stations by the woodstove to greet us. Our other dog, Red, is so high strung and neurotic she's been a little too obnoxious for other pet-sitters to take on. Nancy took her in stride and actually helped calm her down a little bit.”

About: Hi! My name is Cora. I'm 67 and throughout my life I can't remember a time I haven't had a pet. Animals are constantly a huge part of my everyday life. I swear, I'm living for these animals! LOL! I live very close to the Avenue of the Giants. I noticed families needed a safe, caring spot for dogs to hang out while they explored the redwoods. My solution was to start a pet-sitting business on my property. The past few years have been full of belly rubs, cuddles and repeat clients. I'm excited to meet your fur babies! Pet care is my daily routine. I'm here serving my three dogs. I wake up to feed them and I walk them daily. They love to meet new friends! I have a fenced, sunny yard that is very close to redwood groves. I love to take a walk in the woods with dogs it makes me feel safer.
