About: I grew up with pets my entire life and have experience with dogs of all ages! We got our dog, Piper as a puppy more than three years ago and has been the most spoiled dog since. Piper is also very good with all dogs and would love to have someone to play with! We have a fenced in yard and LOTS of toys! I have a very flexible schedule! I work from home so I am home all day unless I leave for a short time to go run a couple errands. Our dog gets walked and let outside several times a day. Contestant supervision - I always check on the dogs if they are out of site for a period of time. I will provide meals twice a day, unless asked differently. Dogs are allowed on couches and beds for ultimate comfort, and full roam of outdoor fence and indoor space.

About: I have had dogs and cats since I was born. My parents share the same love for animals as I do, and I think I love them more honestly! I’ve dealt with losing a pet, and adding new additions to the family. In my eyes no breed of dog or cat is superior and I would love to meet all the pets I can!! I work part-time so I will put the days I am available into the schedule! On my days off I would be more than happy to take your dogs for walks or do drop in visits with dogs and cats! I also marked all days as available because my hours can be funky and I can sometimes work only 4 hour shifts. I take my dogs for walks frequently. They are a bit stubborn sometimes (especially my olde english) but after we get walking they love being outside! The summer heat gets to them both though, so I would love to get outside!

About: I have my associates degree in Veterinary Technology! I previously have worked at dog/cat boarding facilities, and vet clinics. I have had dogs, cats, & goats throughout my life! I currently have my dog living with me here in Cedar Rapids, & 2 cats back in Indiana living with my parents. I am comfortable with any size dog & weight. I am also comfortable with medications if necessary! I am a travel agent that works from home. My schedule is extremely flexible! I am very comfortable with whatever your pet needs whether it’s ones who require constant attention & playing for an hour, or ones who prefer to have their own space. Whatever your pet needs I am happy to provide! My dog is spoiled to the max & I ensure your pet will receive the same treatment! I am down for just opening a door to let them out in their backyard, watching their favorite movie from the couch, playing with their toys, or strolls around their neighborhood!

About: I have great knowledge of dogs, having been a German Sheperd dog owner myself for decades. I've also had many years of training dogs. I also understand aging dogs. I am retired and a widow. I am active in many projects but have an extremely flexible schedule. Can make my schedule fit yours which can include early mornings or late evenings. I have a fenced in back yard and currently no animals reside with me. I can do care in my home or yours whatever your preference.

We go for walks and have lots of outdoor play time too! We even have a doggy pool for those darn hot summer/fall days!

About: I have taken care of dogs on and off for 2 years now, and have decided to make a more permanent space in my life for it. I love all doggies, and cannot wait to meet your sweet fur baby! I have experience with senior care and puppy care. I am currently a full time stay at home mom, so I am available any time to chat or answer any orations you may have. About: I have taken care of my brothers dog who is 8 years old (Rottweiler/Lab 70lbs) for almost three years now. And once in a while I watch over my sisters dog who is a 2 year old American bulldog. I’ve taught my my brothers Rottweiler how to stay, sit. He is a very needy dog but I’ve learned to be patient. I taught my sister puppy to sit, give me his paw and leave it. Doggies can be so energetic but that’s the fun part. I’m currently working overnights (10pm/6am). And my mornings/ evenings are pretty flexible. The only days I wouldn’t be able to be free is on Tuesdays evening. At my apartment building we have a fenced yard made for pets if needed. Otherwise my apartment is pet free and your pet is safe. I can also watch them at your place if needed.

About: Family and Friends have called me the “dog whisperer”, because I am able to connect with their pets so easily. I feel pets are such a big part of your family; your baby, your little one, or your child almost. You would be entrusting me with the care of this most precious part of your family. I love to be down on the floor giving the fur babies my undivided attention … whether it be petting, playing, belly scratching, brushing, or loving on your fur baby. I Love to be face-to-face and making a connection with the pets. I am also a walker myself, so I I love to be outside walking your pets. I work from home and my schedule is extremely flexible. My schedule is able to be put on hold for periods of time, if more time and attention are required or needed. I am able to leave to walk your fur baby, pet-sit at your place, or take care of your fur baby at my home. Pet care is as on-hands and giving as much attention to your fur baby as you wish. I am ready to love them as much as they want and need. I do live in an apartment with places surrounding the building to take dogs outside to potty. There is a new dog park just a block from where I reside. My building is a secure building that is locked with cameras everywhere in the hallways. There are long hallways in my building with very few residents and lots of room to run inside when weather outside is not good. I am able to leave as often as needed to walk dogs. Also, I am able to care for your fur babies in their own home or at my residence.

About: I have always been with animals when I was a kid and everyone counted on me to take care of their animals. They trusted me. I work full time Monday through Friday. Open on the weekends. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a child. I’ve always owned 1-3 dogs at a time. My dogs have all lived long lives, one even living to age 17, one 16, 14, etc. I currently have 2 dogs, ove (Reeva) is 3 years old and one (Izzy) is 1-1/2 years old. I have a great deal of experience taking care of senior pets(medications, injections, diapers, etc). My one pup had submissive urination that we have worked through and she doesn’t have any issues to speak of anymore. I’m no stranger to unique issues or quirks that may arise when working with animals. My current pups and I have completed many structured training classes and Reeva earned her Canine Good Citizen certificate. We have also taken an agility course to help build her confidence. I have been a volunteer for the Iowa Service Dog Program for 3 years. She and I are also a Certified Therapy Dog Team through ATD. I am part of a dog training club. Through this club I have met owners with the same training goals and a group of us have been meeting(with our pets) in pet friendly stores, parks & pet friendly patios to hone our pets training. I do love cats and have had many in my lifetime. The only reason I do not have cat(s) in my home now is because my husband is very allergic. I believe pets are family members and I personally treat mine like my children. You can feel confident that I will treat yours the same. I can drop in several times a day or once a day. You tell me what your pets needs are and I will meet or exceed those needs. My drop-in’s provide care for your fur baby; letting them out to potty, get some love and attention, playtime, food, medication…. whatever you and your pets needs may be. Of course, I will also provide updates and photos! A little extra will get your furry loved one a nice long walk. I do offer limited In-home boarding - Full boarding or day boarding. I will board one dog (prefer crate trained) in my home at a time. (I have made an exception and boarded “siblings”.) I am better able to provide individualized one-on-one care for your fur baby if I keep the numbers low. When I’ve committed to boarding your dog I do my best to stay home with them as much as I possibly can. (Limiting my time away from home.) This way I can provide extra attention, playtime, walks, pets, belly rubs, snuggle time, training and any other personalized care they may need. I do prefer crate trained, mainly for feeding time since I have 2 pups too, but that is not necessarily a deal breaker. I do have a questionnaire that I require be filled out so I can know your pet as well as possible. This aids in my providing the best care I can! I will be happy to provide updates and photos as much or as little as you’d like during their stay with me. They will go home with a report card telling you all about their stay. There is an additional fee for last minute requests for boarding or day boarding. You never have to worry when they are with me! 🐾

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 12 years old. Family, friends, and neighbors have all relied on me to care for their pets the way I’ve cared for my own. I will have all of the time in the world to take care of your pets. I will make the time to take them for walks, play with them, watch them, and bathe them whenever you need me to. About: My family and myself absolutely love animals! We have dogs and cats ourselves and have had for many years. Most of our animals that we have or have had, we've adopted from shelters or have turned up on our doorstep as strays so naturally, we took them in! We adore animals so much that we should actually live on a farm so we can have more! We call our 13 year old daughter "the animal whisperer", she loves and understands what every animal wants or needs and they love and trust her in return. She knows every breed of dog and everything about them! She's going to be a veterinarian someday, I can already see it now! Animals are part of our family, they have free roam of our house, can snuggle with us on the furniture or in our bed and we play outside with them in our big backyard. We live in a small town so it's perfect for playing outside or taking a walk. Our pets love other animals to play with also! However you take care of your pet, you can count on us to do the same! Just let us know what your pet loves and needs and we'll provide them with that! I'm very flexible and can work around most schedules. Available mornings, afternoons, evenings and nights for drop in visits to your home and walks and available anytime for overnight stays at your home. When in your home, you just let me know what your pet's normal routine is, their likes/dislikes, fave toys/treats and I'll make your pet feel pampered, comfortable and loved!
