About: Hi! I am Sarah. I am a mom, business owner, and dog lover living in 7 acres in La Plata. I offer in home boarding and care in a peaceful, low stress environment where your animals can relax, explore, and feel at home. I am currently working on installing a fence, so for now I can do leash walks to keep everyone safe, or supervised play for small puppies since we are acres from the road. About: Growing up, my mom has always had at least 6 cats in the house and 2 dogs since i was the age of 10. I learned from my mom and sister to help take care of our pets and how to take care of them. My friends and acquaintances know how loving my family is of animals so I was always the one they called if they needed pet care. I’ve fostered cats and dogs ( when I don’t want them for myself); I’ve gone to friends houses to care for their pets; I’ve kept pets at my home for friends; I’ve trained many kitties and puppies; I’ve seen the most of it. I have 6 cats, 2 of which are indoor and 4 of which are indoor and outdoor cats. I do have a room where I can isolate any pets that don’t do well with other animals and if you wish for me to keep them in a crate at any time, I can make that happen! I’m experienced in walking dogs and cats; the harnesses, leashes and all! I can bathe any doggies that might get dirty from an outside adventure if I have your permission and of course if I’m in your home, I’ll be sure to clean up any messes. I work from home so there will be very little time, if any, that your pup would be without company. I have watched dogs/puppies of friends and families for years. Also would love the added benefit of giving my two pups some company now and then. My husband would also be here on evenings and weekends to help with any four-legged guests. We love dogs and would love to welcome yours while you are away! Pet care is top priority and we will take the best care possible of your fur babies.
