3. Courtney B.
“Courtney is the most animal loving person I know! Very responsible and reliable. She spoils her dog simba like a king! I always receive pictures of her with simba giving hugs/kisses/and treats! I would definitely trust her to watch my animal kids, and even my human kids!”
4. Ellie V.
“Ellie is absolutely amazing! Ellie took care of my Australian Shepherd (Cami) and she really spoiled her. I received many photos of Cami having fun throughout the weekend which helped ease my mind as I was nervous about leaving her. Cami can be very shy with people she doesn’t know, but she did great with Ellie and definitely looked like she had fun. I don’t trust a lot of people to take care of my dog, but I would definitely let Ellie take care of her again!”
5. Shaylin S.
“Shaylin has been absolutely amazing with my dog, Remi. She takes exceptional care of her, always ensuring she's happy, safe, and well-exercised. Shaylin's genuine love for animals really shines through, and I trust her completely with Remi. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dedicated and caring pet sitter.”
6. Chen W.
About: Hi I’m Chen. Moved to Alton last year. I'm currently working Product Management at a Software Development Company, so I get to work from home all the time! I love animals, and I have a wiener dog and a calico kitty. I am currently working from home. My work schedule is quite flexible, so I have plenty of time to take care of your fur babies. I have a yard at my house and one puppy and one cat to keep your fur babies company. Your babies will be supervised most of the day unless I am out running errands. If they are fully house-trained, I can just leave them be, otherwise, I can easily crate them!
7. Sara W.
“Sara is a caring dogsitter. She loves dogs and cares for mine like it's her own. My dog loves to go to Sara's house and play with her dog. It's never a struggle to get my dog to stay at Sara's house.”
8. Addison B.
“Addison had a big job ahead of her, we have 4 dogs, who needed a lot of time and attention. Addison exceeded my expectations, all poo was picked up and all medicine was given. My house was in order exactly how I left it, probably cleaner to be honest. I highly recommend her to anyone and I will use her in the future.”
9. Taylor B.
“If there is anyone in this would that i would trust leaving my puppy with, it would be Taylor! She has three puppies of her own that are more like children to her. She is very trustworthy, loving and would do anything to make sure your puppy feels comfortable. I couldn’t recommend anyone better to leave your baby/babies with🤍”

“Sierra has been a godsend to watch my furbabies when I’m out of town or gone for a long day. She is always on time, communicates throughout the whole time with pics and videos of my dogs. She is familiar with giving medication which was fantastic when one of my dogs needed it administered. She truly loves dogs and treats them as her own. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again and plan on hiring her in the future as well.”
13. Rachel C.
“Rachel was a great help with my dog when I was out of town! She kept me updated on my dog’s well-being and sent plentiful of pictures! My dog loved her so much, he was very sad to leave her and her own dog. She is my go to sitter whenever I need one!”

About: I provide pet sitting in my home for puppies and small dogs (under 20 lbs). I also provide drop in services to your home and dog walking. My son and I have have been dog walking and sitting for others in the Riverbend area for the past 10 years. I LOVE traveling so I know how important (and difficult) it is to find a dog sitter you can trust and rely on while you're gone. I love all dogs and enjoy meeting new clients whether I am dropping in for visits or walks or boarding in my home. Please reach out with any questions. I am a mother of two adult children and work a hybrid schedule. I have lots of free time and have been dog walking and sitting for over 10 years with my son. We started dog walking and sitting together when he was 12 and he will be starting college soon and I want to continue our side business on my own. We have 2 acres on a cul-de-sac in Godfrey and enjoy talking walks. We have a large home that is safe and dog friendly. I can also do drop-ins while you are away.
16. Vivian G.
“Vivian is one of the sweetest and most personable people I've ever met. She takes amazing care of her own (equally sweet) pets and is very attentive to their needs. Very clean, patient, and trustworthy!!”
17. Gabbi H.
About: Hi, I’m Gabbi, and I have over 6 years of experience caring for other people’s pets! I am new to Rover, but I have multiple pet sitting references that I can provide from customers that have had me hired me for years! I’ve watched dogs of all sizes from Great Pyrenees to Chihuahuas. I’ve handled hundreds of cats so I am used to every personality. I have also cared for reptiles, amphibians, fish, farm animals, and rodents. I’ve watched dogs who need vigorous exercise, as well as the opposite. I’ve cared for puppies and kittens, seniors, and every age in between. I’ve watched a litter of kittens that were still nursing. I have experience with cats and dogs affected by cerebral palsy, deafness, blindness, and other special needs. I am experienced in administering multiple forms of medication. I also volunteer for an animal shelter, which gives me a lot of unique situations and experiences! I have a relatively flexible schedule. I work part time at a dog grooming salon. My shifts are typically 6 hours or less, and I only work up to 3 days a week. I do sometimes have other commitments that are unlikely to take more than 4 hours at a time. I am currently only taking one online college class so that does not interfere with my availability. For people interested in boarding, I have a fenced yard and a 9/yo, 15 lb Shih Tzu who is very friendly. He is laid back and prefers dogs who are also laid back, but has never shown aggression with high energy dogs. I typically walk the dogs I watch at least once a day, but that can vary on the age and/or the activity level of the dog. I can also take them to a park, weather permitting! I always try to keep the pups experience as stress-free as possible, so I listen closely to everything you tell me about your pet. I try to stick to any routine that you guys share, whether that be feeding times, walking times, or anything else! I live in a quiet neighborhood where your dog will be safe with me.
18. Maria L.
“Maria has been dog/house sitting for us for a long time. She is trustworthy, professional and very loving to our dog. She always keeps us posted and sends pictures so we can enjoy our vacation knowing that our dog is well taken care of. She takes him on walks and keeps him entertained. We know he loves it when Maria is watching him. I highly recommend Maria for your dog and house sitting needs”
19. Paige S.
“I was skeptical of having a stranger in my house, however, my daughter introduced me to Rover.com Page stood out with her overwhelming care for animals. We did a meet and greet from the time she came in my home, we were comfortable with her. 2 of the 4 of my dogs took to her right away. One of my girls has attitude and the other is afraid of her shadow so it takes them awhile. We have already used Paige several times and will continue to do so. As a paw parent i always ask her to spend as much time as she can with them. My furbabies are only use to being kenneled and alone at most 8-9 hours. We are fortunate enough to work close to come so on lunch we let them out at lunch time. She has always done what we asked of her. We would recommend Paige!”
20. Karen S.
“Karen is extremely caring about fur babies. She's loved animals for as long as I can remember. She would do anything for pets in her care to keep them happy & healthy! You can put absolute trust in her. ❤️”
