About: I’ve been raised around pets for my entire life! My dad is a vet, so animal care is in my blood. I try to create a bond with the pets I care for so I can meet their individual needs. I’m comfortable handling dogs and cats with a wide variety of needs (behavioral, medical, etc) and gets lots of experience doing so while volunteering at the humane society and raising my own pup and kitty. I’m happy to work with you on any specific goals — training, socialization, easing your pets anxiety while you’re gone — and will do my best to care for your pet the same way you would. About: Hi there, my name is Olivia. I started dog walking at my university in California to get my “pet-fix,” only to realize how much I love caring for other people’s pets! I seriously love all animals, from geckos to cats to dogs, and I would be happy to care for your friendly family members. I have been a pet caretaker for 20+ years (personally) and 4 years (professionally). I am a certified foster parent for Best Friends of Los Angeles, a certified foster parent for Midcoast Humane Society, and I have also spent two summers as a volunteer dog Walker for the Animal Humane Society. I most recently fostered a pregnant mama cat who gave birth to SEVEN kittens. I am happy to encourage any training techniques that you have been practicing as well reinforce (the much more necessary) attention and cuddles. I am also happy to arrange bathes, training strategies, or different medications per your necessity. My schedule is very flexible right now, as my last job recently ended, and I’m taking some time before starting my next chapter. In the meantime, I’ve been focusing on pet sitting, which has been a really fulfilling way to stay busy and do something I enjoy.
