“If you want your dog to be in a loving, beautful home with great, responsible, happy, and experienced people - Becky and her family should be a top choice! She welcomed and took care of Ruby as if she was her own. Exercised and walked her often. Played with her and sent many happy pictures. Becky is a 5-star sitter!”

“A wonderfully sweet and caring sitter who did a magnificent job taking care of my senior dog. She is very mature and professional. She was conscientious of my senior dogs limitations but still kept her active and engaged. She expressed initiative in helping out with my furbaby's care that wasn't anticipated was sooo appreciated. Would recommend her to everyone, and will definitely use her every future needs.”

“I left my puppy, Sanka, with William for a week while we went on vacation out of state. William’s home is lovely. He sent pictures and updates daily, and, not that this matters much, but the pictures were really high quality. Maybe he has another career option as a pet photographer? I’ll use him again and again, and I’d recommend him to anyone and everyone. I really cannot give higher praise.”

“Huck loves his stays with Tracy and we are grateful that she takes such great care of our boy. This was the second time he has stayed with her and he will be visiting again soon :) Thank you, Tracy!”

“Steve is a dog whisperer. Our pup has been reactive for a long time and we weren’t sure if we would ever find someone who could or would watch him while we were away. We just got home from a 5 day trip and Yoshi had such a wonderful time. Steves place is a dogs dreamscape- a pack to accept and play with him, a beautiful farm to explore, home cooked meals, marrow bones, so much love and attention. Yoshi has come home to us so happy and healthy. Highly recommend!”

“Debbie is an amazing and attentive dog sitter. I felt absolutely at ease leaving Kona with her. I always have a hard time emotionally leaving my animals and this time I felt completely free to leave, knowing Kona was in the right place. I truly appreciate the schedule, with play and exercise time followed up by beautiful supportive pictures of Kona.”

“Katheryn was the perfect fit for my furbaby. She was soooo patient and interactive. She was very communicative and provided lots of photos. She followed care instructions and was very thoughtful in meeting her needs of a senior dog with vision, hearing and joint issues. Bella had the most amazing care and I am most appreciative.”

“Research & clinical shadowing outside of NY meant I had to find a pet boarder this summer for my cat. I wanted to make sure he was left in good hands; Tyler was an outstanding sitter for my Mango 🥭🐈 Tyler took care of Mango like his own: taking him to vet visits, making sure to play with him, & sending me frequent updates. Thank you so much Tyler!”

“We are very pleased that our dog was in caring hands. We regularly received photos and updates about her well-being. This was our first experience being apart from our pet, and we understand that it was unusual for her and possibly accompanied by some difficulties. But the team managed everything and showed great care. At the end of her stay, our dog even received some lovely gifts. We are very grateful for this and will definitely turn here again next time. Thank you so much! ❤️❤️❤️”

“Ashley and her family were absolutely wonderful! They sent lots of great pictures and updates and were so sweet to our pup. Wish we lived closer, we would send him there more! But will be sure to go back when we are nearby again.”

About: I've taken care of dogs for a long time. It started when I was young, probably around the age of 10, but of course I couldn't drive, so my mom had to help out. I have always had a love for animals, and I always will. I am currently a college student studying childhood education and psychology, along with playing soccer. That may sound like I have a pretty busy schedule, but since I live at home, it is not bad at all. I am also a substitute teacher, which allows me to choose when I work based on how my schedule looks for that given week. Pet safety is of the utmost importance to me. Families are relying on me to care for their beloved animals while away for a day or a few days. Playing outside or relaxing inside are all things I love to do, based on the dog's needs. Walks are always fun, too!
About: Although my account reflects a start date of 2023, I paused it until now, so I'm happy to announce that Little Paws Retreat is now open! I am looking forward to providing your pup, or pups, with a cozy, loving, safe home away from home. I have a lot of experience with dogs and know how important consistency, routine and clear communications are. I keep a clean, comfortable space and make sure all meals, potty breaks and cuddles happen on schedule. When you book with me you will get: -Daily updates and photos so you can see how your pup is doing. -Flexible routines that adapt to your dog's needs. -Supervised outdoor visits on leash. -Calm, dependable support if your pup has special needs or medication instructions. I look forward to a "meet and greet" before committing to any stays. I want you to feel 100% confident your sweet dog is in good hands getting all the care I would give a dog in my own family. I am retired and have the time to give your pet full attention throughout the day. They would get a good share of affection and playtime. If your pet follows a regular routine or schedule I would be happy to follow it also. Your dog would be with me on the main floor of my home. He/she would be walked if that is what they usually do and can have outdoor time in the yard either on a run or within a small play area. I would be with them. I have had plenty of experience with medications if needed.
“Thomas was the perfect sitter for Beauty. She does best with someone who will let her sleep outside or in the garage and just be around. She seemed so happy and got to go on some little local trips. Thomas sent pictures daily with updates which was perfect for me.”

About: I have over forty years of dog experience. I bred German Shepherd’s for fifteen years. I have taken obedience, agility, and Nose work from local professional trainers and have done puppy, beginner, intermediate and advanced obedience with three of my dogs. I also worked for 1.5 years at a doggie daycare in Utica. I want to do my doggie daycare on a small scale so your pet receives individual attention. I have seen places doing 25- 50 dogs with only one or two people watching them and I feel there is a great need for care on a much smaller scale. So here I am! I retired from banking and with my husband live on our small farm in the country. We built what we call the dog arena for exercising our personal dogs and I intend to use it to also exercise my clients dogs. I am available most weekends and week days. I was working a part time job at a doggie daycare but recently decided that I would prefer to be home with my pups and yours! I have a large fenced in exercise area. I have gates in my home so I can gradually introduce our dogs or can keep them separate depending on individual needs.
