“Jasmine had a wonderful time staying with Julia. I appreciate that she treated her like family and cared for her. I will definitely use her services again if she would be available and would be willing. I think Jasmine misses her playmate!”

“Melinda was excellent with Jack. I think that he thought he was on vacation! She has an excellent place for dogs, complete with a dog door and a big back yard. She treated him like her own dog and gave him lots of love and attention. She also kept me updated with lots of pictures and videos. I will definitely use her services again!”

“Jack told me he really enjoyed his stay with Emily. It was very easy to book, and the communication was excellent. She took very good care of him. He told me he wants to go back and visit soon. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter, and I will use her again.”

“Working with Amy and Aaron was a wonderful experience. Amy picked up my cats from the airport and housed them overnight when I got stranded in a blizzard. They did it on only a few hours notice, provided exemplary care, and even delivered them to me when I finally arrived in town. I’d use Amy and Aaron again in a heartbeat.”

“We’ve had several successful bookings with Jason. This is the first place I can leave my dogs and not worry about them while I’m gone. Jason and his family do a great job!”

“Kalyn did a great job taking care of Jack for me. She sent several pictures to let me know Jack was happy and enjoying himself. He had a nice bug back yard to play in and he enjoyed having Kalyns Husky to play with and keep him company. I would book with Kalyn again.”

About: I've been around and cared for dogs since I was 5 years old, which included my own, grandparent's, and in-law's dogs. I am a very compassionate and loving person who will give your dog the care it needs. I'm currently looking to make extra money as I continue to search for a fulltime work from home position. I am available any time after 10 am and available on the weekends. I have a small unfenced yard in a country like setting that is perfect for taking dogs for a walk. I currently don't have a dog of my own but am looking to adopting one soon.
About: I’ve been taking care of pets all my life and try my best to create an stress-free and healthy environment for your pets and your peace of mind! I’m currently on a sporadic schedule which leaves me with a lot of time to take care of your pet and all their needs as well as give the support they deserve. I will make sure the environment is very stress-free and calm along with the potential need for discipline (which I will do as your directed desires.)
“Tina and her husband were great! They were available on short notice, able to accommodate my dog’s every need, always took him for enough exercise, and were very responsive to texts and were always sending updates and pics! 5 stars! Already booked again!”

“Tori and Malik were great! The first picture posted let me know Bonnie was very comfortable. They had a beautiful area to walk her and I could tell she was having a great time. So appreciative of their caring and loving feelings toward my Bon! A million thanks.”

About: What sesame part is how much care attention I give to every pet I look after. I treat every animal like they’re my own and take the time to learn their individual routines personalities and needs. I’m dependable communicative and will always keep you updated while you’re away. My goal is to not only make sure your pet is safe and cared for but to also make sure they feel comfortable love and happy while you’re gone. I’m currently a musical theater major and because of the structure of my classes I have a good amount of downtime throughout the day. This gives me plenty of flexibility to stop by and take care of some pet pets whether that means we’re going for a walk feeding them playing with them or simply giving them some extra love attention. I enjoy spending my free time with animals so pet care if it’s naturally into my daily routine I’m able to work around each pet schedule and make sure they get the care attention they need while their owners are away. I take the safety and comfort of every pet very seriously whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or in the client’s home I make sure they are in a clean safe and comfortable environment. I will follow their normal routines for feeding walks playtime, and any other care instructions provided by their owner. I also take the time to learn each pets personality needs and boundaries so they feel comfortable and cared for when caring for a pet in a client‘s home I will treat their home with the same respect I would my own and make sure that everything is left clean and secure. I also believe communication is extremely important so I’ll keep owners updated with messages and photos throughout their pet day. My goal is for both a pet and the owner to feel safe, comfortable and confident while they are apart.

“We really felt comfortable leaving our dog Cooper with Eve-she kept us up-to-date with ongoing photos and activities. Our dog made new dog and cat friends, took amazing walks, and got lots of cuddles. Would strongly recommend Eve to other pet owners. .”

About: I’ve taken care of pets for over 2 years in our house and in others as well. I have two kids that help to learn responsibility, work ethic, and love! I teach and coach so my availability will vary but I’m available on most weekends, summers, and holidays. I look forward to the opportunity to take care of your babies! I have a very friendly family dog at our fenced in house. I live in a pet friendly area with multiple floors and levels to take care of your fur babies!
About: Looking for an experienced animal sitter or affordable daycare that is flexible? Woof, I am your gal! From 13 years of combined dog training and behavioral training, I may as well be an animal mind reader! My approaches to pet care are holistic and it doesn't get more organic than loving and working with animals. I've also had many years of experience with small animals, fish and reptiles. If you need a small sitter, I'm all yours! MEET & GREET: I do my meet and greets differently than most. I have TWO meet and greets. The first is with owners alone for a tour of my house, going over routines and any additional care and concerns. This is very helpful as exciting dogs barking can be overwhelming. The second meet and greet is at a basic place like a park or OUTSIDE of dog park. My schedule and routine is pretty flexible, yet still manageable and structured. My daycare hours are Mon-Fri from 8AM to 5:30PM, though I can work around your schedule only on those days. Boarding is available 7 days a week during the night with check in times anywhere 2PM to 7PM, checkouts 8AM next day unless specified otherwise (in the event I am unavailable with a week advance notice). Dog walks and dog check-ins are only Saturday evenings, various hours. BITE POLICY: I understand that accidents happen and I am equipped to handle a bite from a dog/cat as well as ensure the safety of animal to animal bites. If your pet bites me, another person or pet, I will immediately contact you with details of the event. I will report ALL bites to Rover. Depending on the situation, someone will need to pick up pet(s) within 6 hours of contact and bite. It is up to Rover to issue a refund depending on circumstances. You MUST book your request through Rover and MUST pay via Rover for them to ensure a refund. I will NOT refund if you have paid via CashApp, check, Venmo, cash, etc. if you are required to pick up your pet(s). If I assess the situation and feel it's risky to board/sit your pet I will decline future requests. NOTE: You MUST book/CONFIRM your requests via ROVER! When you send your requests to me, I will book it and you must confirm via Rover in order for me to watch your pets. Pending request will be denied of service. NOTE: Boarding is charged by the NIGHT. For example, if you request for me to board your pets Jan 8th thru Jan 17th, they MUST be picked up ON the 17th, not the next day on Jan 18th. Please factor in how late you will arrive and if it's the next day you will have to pay for that night. This works just like a hotel stay. You will be charged a $20 fee for each pet if you need to extend stays. NOTE: Please make sure your pets are free from fleas and parasites! Upon meet and greet provide proof of recent medication, vet summaries, and other remedies. I no longer provide daycare services, only boarding, walks, and check ins. I currently have 5 cats and 1 dog. Walking and at home check ins are anywhere from 1-3 hours Sat evenings. I will walk around neighborhood only if a safe and trusted area. I also will care for cat in home visits. All required is specific walking and care instructions.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their New Wells home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your New Wells.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your New Wells sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
