“Absolutely could not be happier or more grateful for Margarita and her family. The whole process was super easy and after the meet and greet I left feeling 100% confident that bubba would be in great hands. Then traveling back home from Sioux Falls, we get hammered by blizzard conditions. The last 20 miles before finally giving up, I could barely see the lines on the road, let alone any cars in front of me. So we pulled off and checked in to a hotel. Thankfully Margarita was SUPER understanding and reassuring. I was in a bit of a panic worrying about this and that, and the fact that Loki didn't have to be one of those worries was a huge relief. When we finally made it back the next day I could tell he wasn't super thrilled about leaving, which is always what you want to see. (And with that massive yard, I can't blame him!) Will definitely be "boarding" with her and her family again in the future! Super communicative with updates and photos to put our minds at ease.”
About: I’ve always loved being around animals and have experience caring for dogs of different personalities and needs. Over the years, I’ve been trusted to care for pets while their owners are away, making sure they’re fed, walked, played with, and given plenty of love and attention. I pay close attention to each dog’s normal routine and personality so they can feel as comfortable and happy as possible while you’re away. Whether your pup loves long walks, playing outside, cuddling on the couch, or just having someone nearby, I’m happy to give them the kind of care they’re used to. I’ll treat your dog like they’re my own and make sure you feel comfortable too. I’m also happy to send plenty of pictures and updates so you can see how your pup is doing while they’re with me! 🐾 I work from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to be available throughout the day for your pup! I also have a Golden Retriever of my own, so walks, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of attention are already a natural part of my daily routine. Since I’m home most of the day, I’m able to give your dog plenty of attention and companionship without them being left alone for long periods of time. I’m happy to adjust to their normal feeding, walking, and potty schedule so they can feel as comfortable as possible. Having another furry friend around would be a welcome addition to our day! 🐾 Your pet’s safety and comfort are extremely important to me. We live on just over 5 acres with plenty of space to explore and our own walking trails throughout the property, which are perfect for getting outside, going on walks, and getting some energy out! Since I already have a Golden Retriever of my own, our home is very dog-friendly and we naturally have plenty of dog toys, supplies, and space for pups to feel comfortable. Our property is not fenced, so dogs will never be allowed to roam outside unsupervised. I’m more than happy to use a secure in-ground tie-out for dogs who are comfortable with one, or keep them leashed whenever we’re outside. I understand that every dog has their own routine, personality, and comfort level, so I’ll always follow your instructions and do my best to make your pup feel safe, loved, and at home while they’re in my care. Before their stay, I’d love for you to tell me a little about your pup—their personality, daily routine, favorite things, any quirks or tendencies they may have, and anything else you think I should know. The more I know about them, the better I can make their time with me feel comfortable and familiar! 🐾
About: I’ve worked at a doggy daycare for two years as well as owning dogs since I was young. My whole family has pets in which I help to babysit at times. I love all dogs.. the older ones are my favorite however since I do have a 9 year old rescue who is my whole life! I love working with puppies on simple tricks as well as chilling with the older dogs in the sun! I currently work full time. I have quite a bit of free time most weekends as well as a few days during the week. I’m available after 5pm as well on the days I do work. At my home I do not have a fence:( i do have leashes as well as a in ground leash if needed. I let my dog and any visiting dogs free roam the house, but if it’s needed we have a porch to seclude them while still giving them room and a nice outside view. Everyone is more than welcome on the couches and beds<3
