About: I’ve owned and taken care of animals ever since I was a child including dogs, cats, and farm animals. I have extensive experience in handling and caretaking of dogs. I am available any day of the week at this time. I can board, walk and sit for animals in my home or their owner’s homes. My first and foremost concern is the animals wellbeing. So I can go to their home if that’s the best option for them and the owner. I can also board in my home. I currently have 1 senior cat who is rather shy but has been around dogs and other cats in the past. I have a big yard where I can take and walk dogs outside to play and exercise. About: Hi, Everyone! My name is Cara. Thank you for visiting my page. My strong admiration for animals has only grown more with the more animals I meet and as a result, it brings me genuine happiness. It is a rewarding experience to be able to take care of any animal that needs it while their owner is away. Since starting Rover in August 21’, I’ve had 10+ repeat clients and have established great friendships with families/people in the community as a result. I have a M-F teaching position 8am-4pm and summer months off. I am currently a part time Binghamton University graduate student studying for a masters degree in early childhood special education. A little history: I grew up with a miniature schnauzer (Zoie) whom towards the end of her life, needed constant supervision and was administered medicine 3x/ day, grooming/washing daily. I was always there to comfort her until the end of her life and spoiled her beyond belief. Myself and my family provided care to my mini schnauzer for over 12 years. As a child, I never had a dog sitter to send updates, pictures/videos for my sweet Zoie when my family would travel, so I strongly understand the importance of quick and reliable communication/sending updates while you’re away to ease your anxiety. I have a white pitbull fur baby (Minnie). Shes a loyal, sweet and well behaved dog, I’m so lucky and thankful for her every day as she brings me so much happiness. About: I have sat for friends and family. I also take care of my 2 dogs, and I also have 4 cats. In the past I even adopted reptiles and other animals to heal/care for until someone wanted to take them to their forever home. I have like animals since I could remember, and I would absolutely care, and love the pets I sit. Past I have also volunteered for animal shelters and even started a fundraiser for a specific shelter. I just graduated from nursing school. I will be starting my job soon, but even while working for my job, I would love to take on an extra role in pet caregiving as of right now I am available at any time that you may need me. Once I start work, I will be available as much as I can for the pets that I will care for. I live in the countryside with a giant 10 acre piece of land. My two dogs and my cats are both indoor outdoor and they love going in and out. My dogs especially have an amazing time there. I go take them on walks almost every day I even go to a dog park as far as taking care of animals in someone else’s home, I would care for them, take them on walks, and if willing, I could even take them to dog parks and make their day just as happy as mine.

About: I’ve taken care of lots of pets over the years. I enjoy being around animals and showing them love because they do the same for us! I have a genuine love for taking care of things if I can help it and I’m going to school to even become a nurse. I also started a house plant hobby. Taking care of things is just in my blood. I’m available more in the evenings . My schedule is flexible but inconsistent because I’m part time at my jobs but we can discuss availability if you book me to take care of your pet(s)! I have a fenced in back yard and just one cat. I’m able to keep them separated if needed. I also have my own home and it’s a smoke free one! I’m very clean and clean my home daily. I let my cat on the couches so yours will be allowed the same if they are not dirty of course.

About: I've owned a variety of animals and grew up in household that encouraged living animals of all sorts. Have seen animals through their best days and worst. I've had experience with diabetes (cats briefly), and various medications. Worked with all sizes of dogs. I currently work Mon-Fri appx 8-4. Looking to support evening puppy care. About: I’ve been pet sitting alone for about 8 years now! Friends, neighbors, and other folks have relied on me to feed and walk their pets as well as house sit. I’ve worked with cats, dogs, almost all domestic farm species, amphibians, reptiles, and fish. I’ve just graduated UVM with an Animal Science degree, where I’ve taken helpful classes such as Intro To Exotic Pet Care class and Canine Behavior where I trained local shelter dogs. Through my studies, I’ve learned about nutrition, anatomy, welfare, husbandry, and diseases/ailments for many species. I’ve worked with a lot of senior animals who have a variety of backgrounds at a farm sanctuary, so I’m comfortable working with pets with special needs. I’ve also been working as an ICH Tech at an equine clinic so I am comfortable with medications such as injections as well. I love talking about my experience and am happy to answer any questions people may have! I love going for walks and hiking! The outdoors are so beautiful and even more lovely when you get to share them with a pet. Early morning walks are my personal favorite. Pet visits also work well in my schedule. I don't mind stopping by to let a pet out, feed, clean, and provide enrichment. I love reading and am happy to hang out with pets outside while I do so. Clear communication and meeting the needs of the client are the most important pieces to pet care to me. I like to take notes about expectations and routines, such as feeding or play time, that way I can provide pets with the most consistency and familiarity I can. I like to update folks about their pets by sending photos and messages. And I keep my phone nearby with notifications on throughout my time so that I am available if folks have any questions, concerns, or are just missing their pet and would like a picture!

I have owned my own grooming business for two years, and I officially launched it to the public on January 1, 2025. I am energetic and enjoy visiting dog parks and going on walks with pets. I do not allow pets to stay in their crates for long periods. Instead, we spend time outside playing and engaging in daily training exercises with each pet. Each animal is treated like they’re at home, with the option to have their own food and treats, as well as those I provide. Pets are allowed on the couch and can roam freely throughout the house. We do have a designated space for one of my pets due to her tendency to cause destruction if not monitored, but this decision is ultimately based on the needs of each individual pet.

About: I’ve owned dogs my whole life and helped train them when they were puppies. I have 1 dog and a cat right now, and love playing with, walking them, and cuddling. I worked at a doggy daycare for 2 years and as a pet groomer for under 1 year, and I also earned my Dog Training Certification through Animal Behavior College. I adore pets and always have, and I strive to make any pets day the best with whatever they need! I currently go to school and work part-time. Working part time allows me to have more time to play with your dogs. I am able to spend time with your pups on Mondays and Wednesdays anytime 12pm or after. Along with Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at any time! The first thing I will always do with your pups is let them get to know me by letting them set the course of our greeting, if they are shy we go slower. Whatever the dog needs is my number one priority along with keeping the Pet Parent informed. I will always be attentive when watching your pup in your home, and if there is medication that needs to be administered I can do so properly with the exception of needles/shots.

About: Starting from a young age I knew I needed to be a pet care provider. Starting in high school I worked at several barns providing care for various livestock and companion animal species alike. While I love our livestock, I find more fulfillment in helping our household pets. I’m currently working on an animal care and behavior degree, and work at an animal hospital. I have experience in giving oral medications (to both dogs and cats) as well as subcutaneous fluids. I’ve managed several complex medication plans and understand how important a regular routine is for our pets. If you think we would be a good fit please reach out with any questions you may have.
