“Kyle really came through for my girls and I in a pinch. Their regular sitter was not available for a weekend beach trip I had planned and we put our trust in another awesome human. He showed up for a meet and greet and my spicy, anxious ridden rescue took to him fairly quickly. We were all happy he was able to stay overnight. My girls usually dont do well with being left alone more than one night. I had updates when I needed and I came home to my place the way I left it. Would definitely use Kyle again.”

About: We have lots of experience with dogs, cats and many other types of animals! Large property with room to run, we have several horses and goats on site. Family care in our home (with children). Experience working as a vet tech including first aid, animal grooming, training and behavior, and as an animal chiropractor for ~15 years. We do have a kennel license through the state and as such, we require a copy of your current rabies vaccine and dog license (easy to do and only about $12 online!). Question on this? Just ask! We have several older children who help out with daily care, walks, and feeding. One parent is stay at home and the other parent works flexible hours. We have a large house for dogs to roam and play throughout the day. Sleeping can be in a kennel or snuggled with us in bed--whatevert you prefer. Large outdoor spaces to roam and we love to take walks in the neighborhood.

I mainly have experience with older dogs (1 year to senior) and don’t shy away from the many needs dogs require in their twilight years. I primarily have been dog sitting for a close friend with two beagle mixes and can tell you they gave me enough experience to be able to handle the high energy and stubbornness that comes with their breed. I work a full time job 3:30 to midnight so my hours of availability are mornings until 2PM and I have off on weekends so I have plenty of time to play with your pups on those days. I take the time to double check with pet parents booking with me to see if my schedule works for them so I can make sure I am the best fit for you and your pets! I take great care in respecting the homes of pets and owners when I’m providing care. I strive to prevent messes when possible and make sure pets are fed, watered and their spaces are well maintained and home owners spaces are left the same or better than when they departed.

I’d like to treat the pet sitting similar to most scheduled people who have pets. Typically I would attend my day job and afterwords spend all of the time with your beloved pets. Arriving directly to your pet and making sure they are taken care of. Food, water, potty, ect. I’ve cared for pets in my home by allowing them the leisure of napping, play time, and potty breaks when it’s time . I like to allow pets to just be themselves. I like to also make sure they are monitored when I am present. For dogs during a house sitting I recommend a crate or special area your pet can be that is safe. I usually house sit at the same time as working my day job. During those times your pet will be alone and will need a safe area to be if I am not currently present.
