I personally love the older pups as I have a 18 year old Jack Russel myself. Im currently working part time at a doggy boarding facility but the hours just aren’t keeping me afloat. I do have 2 elderly neighbors but I sit back off the road and can do many walks and exercise/ playtime through out the day. My father also lives 10 minutes away on 30 acres that we visit frequently. I am the only neighbor with animals so my animals are the only ones that yours will be around/ exposed to. I do have a larger home and have plenty of room for a crate or to separate any animals if need be. Cats have plenty of room to explore and hide. Doors are never left open and dogs will be leashed at all time if outside.
