“Akua was great with my dogs and we’re glad we chose to use Rover for our trip this time the dogs seemed more happy and comfortable and not stressed being home vs a kennel/boarding overnight and I didn’t have to worry about a vet bill or them getting sick while we were away. They enjoyed all of their walks and being able to be in their own environment.”

Puppies are my specialty! I am also willing to work with your dog on basic commands and behavioral training, if desired, for a small price increase. I work from home so I have plenty of time to play with, walk, love on and care for your pet. I live in a quiet, residential neighborhood with lots of places to walk and run, as well as being nearby several parks and trails. I have a two bedroom condo. Pets are allowed on all furniture and have full run of the house. I do have crates available as well, if needed. I live extremely close to several large parks, as well!

About: I have had dogs all my life and I have pet sit for many of family members for years. I also worked in a kennel for two summers. I can easily crate if needed be and we have a huge yard for them to run around.

About: I’ve cared for animals of all kinds for over 20 years, but dogs hold a special place in my heart. From tiny pups to senior dogs, I’ve helped with walks, feeding, bathing, and playtime—always with patience, love, and attention to their needs. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me time and time again to care for their pets like they’re my own. I’m confident, calm, and genuinely passionate about animals of every shape and size. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule. I work a part-time job and also run my own pet care services, working closely with VIP clients and even a few politicians. I’m used to managing a flexible, yet reliable schedule that allows me to prioritize each pet’s needs with care and attention. Whether it's daily check-ins, walks, or extended stays, I make sure every animal I care for feels safe, loved, and well looked after. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or my client’s home, I prioritize comfort, safety, and consistency. I treat every pet like family, following their routines closely—whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, medications, or playtime. Since I work with high-profile clients, I understand the importance of trust, privacy, and professionalism. I keep spaces clean, calm, and pet-friendly, and I always ensure pets feel secure and loved while their owners are away.

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals since I could remember. Been around Great Danes to yorkies and love them all. I also have a cat and dog of my own both I’ve rescue and adore. I’ve also trained my dog, I’ve had her going on 3 years now. I train with positive attitude and treats. I was relied on by family and friends to watch, walk and feed their pets. Occasionally would do some basic training to help keep up and of course cuddles. I currently work full time but it’s from 7-2pm about 4 days a week. I will have time after work and on my off days to spend the rest of the day caring for pets. My pets are friendly with other animals, my dog gets excited when she gets to meet new friends and then goes about her business. I also have a crate for my dog if anything. I try to give the visiting pup a chance to sniff around first and get warmed up before I let my dog meet her. Allows both dogs to calm down and be relax by then.

About: Dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love. For me, they are the role model for being alive. I have loved and cared for dogs since childhood. The best moments of my day is being on the floor playing with furry friends. I recently left the corporate world and I am working part time from home. I would be available most days all day. I enjoy the company and love nature and being outside. We have a large home in the country with wood floors and 2 1/2 acres with 1 acre fenced. I would crate friends at night or if not home for a short time during the day.

About: Growing up from an early age my family and I have always had dogs and cats. The first dog I was around consistently was my grandmothers, Buddy. I loved her with all my heart as a child and followed her around constantly. When I was young I got my first cat Oscar. He was a calm but talkative orange tabby. My mother then got Adam to give Oscar a friend. My first dog I got from a local shelter, Lulu. Over the years I had a few more. A newfoundland Bernie who would wait patiently at the water bowl for the cats to be done. Norman, a black cat who had an old man meow. A German Shepard mix, Guthrie who was a ball of energy from day one, and 2 dachshund mixes, Joe and Axle who look completely different from each other but follow each other everywhere. After moving out of my mother's house eight years ago I slowly kept taking in cats, currently with four, Charles, Maddie, Dexter, and Luna. I firmly believe having pets to love is one of the best parts in life. I currently work full time on a split second/third shift job but am looking at schooling for a trade. I have three days off a week where I do most around the house and garden. Mornings and early afternoons are always available for me. I have a four foot high fenced in yard, chain link with a latch for any dogs I may be watching as well as tons of cat toys and a new 6 foot cat tree.

About: No dog is too big and no dog is too small! Any and all dogs are welcome, no matter the energy level, age or size! I have two pets of my own, and 3 year old cat and a 10 year old German short-hair pointer. I am able to handle the energy level of bigger more energetic dogs, and I am gentle enough to handle puppy and older dogs. I am willing to work with your schedule to provide the best care for your pets! I am willing to drive a fair distance, most hours of the day to accommodate your pets needs and wants. I am even willing to take your dogs on exciting adventures such as the dog park or walks in the country, or through the woods! I am in college, currently on semester break. I’m looking to add extra income while getting to do something I love, spending time with animals! I lived in an apartment with my two pets. Having a high energy dog and not a lot of space meant long walks for my dog daily.
