“David was wonderful. Very responsive and I felt very comfortable leaving our puppy with him. This was the first time leaving our puppy alone with someone for such a long period and I believe afterwards he didn't want to leave when we picked him up!”

“Megan was accommodating to our needs as we made plans to go kayaking. She communicated well before and during our time away from our pups. We were so grateful to have our dogs well cared for while we enjoyed time on Lake Superior.”

“We feel very lucky to have found Mike and Dallas on Rover! Our Gordie took to them immediately and ran up their stairs to see them after only meeting them once before! He was very comfortable in their home as proven by the photos they shared. We enjoyed a great day of golf and Gordie enjoyed a great day with his new friends! Highly recommend and have already booked another appointment!”

About: Furry Friend Care experience includes caring for cat(s) needing regular injections (subcutaneous), special dietary needs, and walking multiple dogs (familiar with each other). Light grooming, as well! As a free agent with Home bases in both Munising and Marquette, I have flexibility! We all have things we care about and want to ensure are safe and cared for when we're not around. I will give care and consideration to your fur friends, their routines and safety! My house sitting, boat sitting, fur friend care, & companionship extend from Marquette to Munising, and Chocolay to Big Bay! Care to be in your home, unless special conditions are made. My current familiar is a gorgeous grey Nebelung cat, adopted as a kitten 5 years ago. She requires a special ZD diet and biweekly subcutaneous shots. I have experience attaching kitty nail caps, when she was younger, with coordinated guidance while we were sussing out an unknown skin condition that was causing her to scratch aggressively, continually opening wounds, not giving them a chance to heal. Her condition is now under control, and she no longer requires the nail caps. Prior cats I have cared for have ranged from 3 lbs to 28 lbs! Our family pooch is an English Springer Spaniel, a unique tri-color showcasing beautiful Sable color. We welcomed him to our home 6 years ago. He is our 2nd Springer in 21 years. They are such a loving, fun, and gentle breed. I have much experience in connecting with and walking rescue dogs as well, mixed breeds including Sharpei, Pit Bull, Rottie, Jack Russel, Corgie, Labradoodles, Spaniels, etc. Sanitation is the start of keeping our friends safe and healthy; exercise and fresh air are necessary as well to have a happy, healthy home life. I can provide these things for your loved furry friend(s) while you are traveling or working.

“Highest recommendation for Matt. He was able to accommodate a short-notice request for my nervous pup and did an outstanding job with him, start to finish. He responded quickly to messages, demonstrated his experience with questions and information before my pup’s stay, sent pictures/updates during my pup’s stay, and was a very calm presence throughout. Truly appreciate the interaction with Matt and would happily repeat a stay.”

“We were so thankful to find Natalie on such short notice. She went above and beyond in accommodating our dogs and giving us advice on how to spend our 1 day in Munising. We will definitely rebook when we return. Thank you Natalie!”

“This was our second time doing daycare for Ninja with Jered. Jered has taken really good care of Ninja both times. He sends picture and video updates and even takes him on a walk! Ninja looks very relaxed and comfortable at Jered's home and comes back happy. Jered patiently talked to me about some questions I had for a future boarding reservation and was kind enough to take his time addressing all my concerns. Overall very happy with his level of care and attention. Thank you Jered!”

Kendra S.
“I have a reactive (due to trauma) pit bull who makes a terrible first impression to the point where people cross the street when we are walking. She is so scared of new situations and other dogs, she becomes highly reactive to the point where most people avoid her. She has separation anxiety and takes medication to help, but new people, dogs, and environments are just tough for this dog. I can't trust just anyone to care for her or walk her. Kendra's energy made an immediate positive impact on my dog and I would trust her with any dog or cat. She's compassionate, thoughtful, and detail oriented. You couldn't wish for a better pet care professional than Kendra. My only advice is get on her calendar now because it fills up quickly! Kendra has cared for pets her whole life and brings years of experience and knowledge. She's my number 1 go-to for my dog.”
