“I highly recommend Amber for any dog sitting or dog walking needs, no matter the size or personality of your pup! I have a 110 lb lab mix and a 70 lb Great Pyrenees mix—both can be a handful at times—but Amber handled them with confidence and care. Her experience with larger breeds (including her own huskies) gave me peace of mind from the start. What truly impressed me was how she connected with my younger dog, who is very skittish and slow to warm up to new people. By the end of the week, not only had my pup warmed up to Amber—she was jumping on the bed and cuddling next to her, something she rarely even does with me or my husband. I was amazed! Amber also sent me photos of the dogs every day to keep me updated, which I really appreciated—it helped so much when I was missing them while away. Amber went above and beyond to make our dogs feel safe and loved while we were away. We’ll absolutely be booking with her again for future stays!”

I enjoy the company of any type of animal including exotics. Will help around house if needed, including laundry or cleaning. Can contact any time of the day. Very professional. Practices the appropriate behavior for correcting pets, if out of hand. Can help train pets. Can offer advice to improve any issues occurring with pet. If I don't seem to be a good fit I can recommend someone else just as caring! I work full time at home. I would be available right after work and on weekends. I have raised 2 litters over the years and have kept a few of the pups for the families while on vacation! I also work part-time for a local kennel tucking all the boarding dogs in for the night! “My family typically watches my dog, Stella, when I go out of town; however, this time we were all going on vacation together and I needed someone I could trust to take care of her. A friend recommended Rover and I gave it a shot. As soon as I read Joe's profile I knew he'd be a great match. Stella is a 4 year old pitbull so I wanted to make sure whoever I chose was comfortable handling a larger dog. Joe came over for a meet and greet and Stella loved him! Since this was the first time I left her in someone else's care I thought it'd be best for Stella to stay in her own home and have Joe come and visit. He visited multiple times a day for 5 days. Joe was absolutely great, he sent me daily updates with pictures and eased my mind so I could enjoy vacation. I would pet sit, take them on walks , stay with them and play with them. I am a true dog lover through and through. I have had dogs my whole life . My son has 5 dogs and pretty much everyone I know is a pet lover so no matter where I go I’m around animals. I watch dogs for friends and my son often. I can take them to the dog park to run and play with other dogs. We can go on walks and play in the yard.
