“Zach was amazing with Koda! My dog has a lot of energy but then wants to turn into a house helper and follow you around everywhere and Zach was totally fine with that. I was updated everyday as to how Koda was doing and was also sent pics. When I went to pick Koda up, he was super happy so I knew he was definitely treated well. Zach was also very accommodating with drop off and pick up which was super helpful when traveling. Thank you & I’ll definitely be sending Koda back again!”

“We were so happy to leave our boy, Denver, with Jesse and Emily. Denver is almost 14 and so giving him the love and attention he’d get as the only dog in the home was really important to us, and not having to worry about him getting stressed out by younger dogs who constantly wanted to play for 6 days. We couldn’t have been happier. Denver was right at home, getting walks that he loves as well as plenty of chill time and attention from Jesse and Emily as well as their two girls. Jesse and Emily were great about sending us photo updates that let us know that Denver was comfy and happy. Denver is a finicky eater especially when not at home and they were great about paying attention and giving some treats here and there to get his appetite going. We would definitely leave Denver with them again!”

“I had a great experience with Debbie and Pete. This was my first time using Dog Vacay. Debbie and Pete have a great place. Their house and yard are both clean and perfectly set-up to care for their five small show dogs. They have a large fenced in yard (between half an acre and an acre). This allows the dogs to run around and play. The yard has a small kids pool for the dogs to get wet and have a good time. The dogs are also allowed inside. Debbie and Pete sent me a text with my dog sleeping on their couch. They also went out of their way to drop my dog in Charlottesville on their way to work to save me time on my return trip. Very sweet couple and I would highly recommend using them if you are going to be in the Charlottesville area.”
