About: I am a Registered Veterinary Technician with over 20 years of pet medical experience, pet care, cat rescue, and TNR work. I have volunteered at Animal Rescue, Inc, walking dogs and caring for cats. I also volunteered for feral cat spay/neuter clinics. For over 20 years I have provided complex daily care, including medical needs, for my personal pets. This, and petsitting, have previously been accomplished during full time employment as a veterinary technician at veterinary hospitals. I have provided petsitting many times in owners' homes in the past. I can also pick up mail, water plants, close curtains, turn lights on and off, etc.

About: I’ve lived with dogs/cats my entire life. I have checked in, played, fed, given meds and potty breaks to dogs of two other families before. STARTING AUGUST 18: I will be starting my clinical rotations at WellSpan hospitals and other sites. This means during weekdays I will not be available from 6am-3:30pm or even later depending what site I am at that day (i have rotations in Gettysburg). Weekends I am available unless said otherwise! Thank you! I’m a college student on summer break, so I’m available a lot of the time! I let out and play with another dog during weekday mornings, so anytime after that! Although I have an unfenced yard, I live on a dead end road with not a lot of traffic. I have a huge field behind my house where I can play with your pets. I have a friendly Springer Spaniel who can keep your dog company. I can easily crate if needed. Will not walk or let dogs out to potty without a leash. Will play unleashed in field.

I follow my dogs' usual routine as closely as possible—feeding times, walks, play, and quiet time—to minimize stress. I also make sure they have access to fresh water, cozy resting spots, and lots of affection. If a pet has special needs or preferences, I’m happy to accommodate them. In your home, I treat your home with respect and your pet like family. I stick to their established routine, including feeding, walking, playtime, and any medications or special care. I’m attentive to their behavior and comfort, and I always make sure they feel safe and loved in their familiar surroundings. I also provide regular updates, so you know how things are going while you’re away. I dog sit numerous times for my colleague's senior dog while their family is on vacation and am very reliable.
