âOutstanding service, Sierra went above and beyond to take care of my babies. Cordial, responsible and understanding. I would very much recommend her services to anyone looking for a reliable person to take care of your pets.â

About: Experience volunteering at local cat cafe and caring for friends/familyâs pets. Just like dogs, I also look forward to taking my own daily walks! :) Iâm the proud mom of 2 cats and I specialize in caring for pets with anxiety. My main job is as a dance teacher, so I only work after school/work ends for our students. This leaves my mornings and mid-days free for walks and furry friends! I am always respectful of clientsâ property (and pets of course)! My house currently does not accept pets but I love spending time outside and stopping by to provide needed care.
About: Hi, my name is Brenda! I have had pets my entire life, and I currently own a Shichon, Golden Doodle and a Shitzu. I have started caring for others in addition to my own! I would love to care for your furry friend! I am very responsible and reliable pet sitter, and will take great care of your pet! I am currently working full-time. After June 5th I will be available during the summer for days and weekends until I go back to work at the school. At that time I will be available evenings and weekends. I will do drop in visit and dog walking as well as taking time to play with your pets. I will always communicate with the owner, whether that be sending them photos of their pets, or just by simply updating them on how things are going via text, or phone call!
âAndrew was great while doing drop-ins during a family vacation, going above and beyond for our dog. My dog has never been happier when returning from a vacation. So, I would reccomend Andrew for any dog-sitting.â

About: I cat sit for my neighbor for long periods of time when she goes away. Iâve been an animal owner since the age of 3. Currently Iâm in school for nursing but donât have classes Monday and Wednesday as well as the weekend. Those days Iâm hoping to spend time with pets. Caring for pets in my home I will have them on a leash if outside just in case they like to run away. At a clients home Iâll follow the directions to ensure perfect pet care.
About: I have loved animals all my life-dogs, cats, chickens, reptiles, bugs-you name it! I got my first pet at age 11 (my calico cat, Abbie) and I've been adding to my collection ever since! I currently have an alapaha blueblood bulldog named Hamilton, a corgi named Pippa, two orange cats named Milo and Stewart, a 6 year old goldfish named Freed, and 9 chickens (all named of course, but I'll spare you that). My first fur baby Elli, a dachshund recently passed away; in saying that I am letting you know that I'm an expert in senior care and giving animals medications as well. Her meds were a full time job. I walk my dog almost daily and love to exercise animals, so I'd love to walk your animals too! Just a part-time registered nurse over here looking to fill my spare time and love on some fur babies! I'm a per diem registered nurse who works evenings and nights so I have lots of time from morning to afternoon to care for your pet. I generally walk my bulldog daily so I'd love to tire out your fur baby too! I am available Monday to Thursday, preferably 0830-200 (with flexibility) to assist you with your pet needs! I have well trained, loved animals at home. In coming to your home, I hope to continue to love your pet like my own while complying to whatever rules you set for the animal and myself. I believe in teaching dogs to walk well on a leash without being too stringent. Safety is always priority as well as making your cat/dog feel at ease.
About: Iâve taken care of dogs and cats for many years as Iâve always had multiple animals in the home at a time. I currently have one 7 year old lab/hound mix who we rescued as well as two cats! I work full time Monday-Friday, but if youâre going away for the weekend or need drop in visits or dog walking, let me know! It seems like we have a shortage of cat sitters this area, so please feel free to contact me to come check on your kitties while youâre away đť I do have a large back yard, but we do not have a fence. We let our pup out on a lead, but also walk her at least once per day! If your pup needs extra walking, Iâd be happy to accommodate đ
âJenna was amazing and attentive with our pups! Communication was smooth and easy, and it was very comforting to us knowing our pups were in good hands while we were away! I highly recommend Jenna, to watch your pets! We will definitely be utilizing her services in the future!â

âNicole was phenomenal! She gave my diabetic cat her insulin injections while I was away. She was very responsive and sent updates which eased any worries I had. I didnât need care for my dog this time around but next time I do, I will be reaching out to her in particular. You can tell she cares about animals so you know your babies will be in good hands. If youâre in need of any care I would definitely recommend her!â

âKaitlynn has visited with and cared for my dog during multiple visits now. She is easy to communicate with, sends pictures and updates, and my dog loves her and is well cared for! I would recommend Kaitlynn to anyone looking for a pet sitter!â

âCarly was amazing and I would highly recommend her and plan to book her in the future. All visits were on time, well documented with pics and summary. Most importantly she and Hunter bonded! Thanks Carly!â

âLisa was great with our puppies for a few drop-in visits while we were out of town for the day. She kept in contact when she was at our house and provided updates with how the puppies were doing along with some pictures. We got back late, so she even checked the next morning to make sure they were okay when we got home which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend Lisa for all of your dog sitting needs! Thank you so much, Lisa!!â

About: Hello, my name is Maggie! I have been a dog owner of 2 great pups for 10 years now! One of them is 15 years old so I do have experience taking care of older dogs. I have also raised a puppy so I have experience with younger dogs as well. I am so excited to meet a bunch of new pups. I am a recent Bucknell grad and am currently working with AmeriCorps with flexible hours so taking care of your dogs will be first priority. I'll take your dogs on a hike, cuddle at home, on a small walk or anything else! I am very reliable and a huge dog and cat lover. I'm willing to walk your dogs in any kind of weather and give them the love they deserve. I have also grown up with 3 cats so I am extremely comfortable taking care of them as well. I am currently serving with AmeriCorps with flexible full time hours. I am able to stop home at lunch or before and after work to check on your pets! I am comfortable taking your pets out for walks, playing fetch in the backyard, crating dogs, cleaning litter boxes and anything else your pet needs!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in New Berlin. On Rover:
- 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
