Doggy Day Care in New Alexander

About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for over 20 years. I frequently have watched pets for friends and family. I have trained four puppies and have experience caring for elderly pets. I am off from work during the summer months and am able to provide loads of play time for your pets. I am available seven days a week. I have a fenced-in backyard that is almost an acre in total for your pets to play in. I also have two friendly, playful dogs that are great with cats.

About: I have had a dog most of my adult life and my husband, Andrew has always had cats. We currently have a 13 year old cat, Who is extremely friendly to people and stays away from dogs. We just recently moved to Poland from Cincinnati to be closer to family. We are entrusted to watch our family’s pets when they are out of town and love and adore all guest pets in our home as if they were another part of our family. I can provide basic training I have learned over the years and can administer meds. I have a 12 year old child full-time and Andrew has a 15 and 17 year old that are with us half of the time and are very patient and gentle towards animals but your pup MUST get along with children. All of our kids have extreme affection, gentleness and patience towards all animals and live their lives at home revolving around the animals. Because of the children we do not allow Pitt bulls, Chows or Dalmatian breeds in the home. All pets must be completely secure around children or unfortunately we don’t think your loved one will be comfortable in our home. If your pup ends up showing any type of aggression towards the children, they will need to be picked up or run the risk of being crated with minimal time out of the crate, until your return. Your pet must be up to date on vaccines and must be of at least 2 years of age. My career is in IT and I work from home full-time so I will be home all day to keep your pet company. Andrew works remote as a Communications Director for a local church and also shuffles being an online student so there is almost always someone home to be with your loved one! Your dog will enjoy daily walks, or a run if they can run on a leash with me. I live in a quiet neighborhood next to the Poland Forest with a sidewalk about 10-20 ft from the road with little car traffic. We may take some adventures through the woods, as well. Depending on the stay length and dirt accumulation I will also give your pups baths to keep them smelling fresh! We spend a lot of time at home and will be able to provide your pet plenty of attention! This also allows us to be flexible with your schedule. I do not have a fenced in yard so your pet will be supervised when using the restroom. Your pet will get plenty of playtime with our kids and will have a couch, dog bed or our bed to sleep on. Whichever he/she prefers.

About: I’m a very caring person that has had dogs and cats my whole life. I am really good with connecting with them and making them feel comfortable while their owners are away. I have a shaded fenced in back yard with nice soft grass that’s good for paws and play. It’s a safe quiet community that’s good for walks in the park nearby and around the block. Just let me know if you have any specifics for your pet’s likes and dislikes or medications that need to be administered. I’ll do my best to accommodate them and make them feel at home. I’m currently working from home. I’d love to welcome some pet friends to come and keep my company. I can easily step away from my work to be here for your pets needs. I know they’re family and deserve the best of care. I am here to provide that! I have central air conditioning which is nice for hot days. My backyard is fenced in and a reasonable size for dogs to relax and play. I keep my house clean and safe for your pets. No area is off limits here for them to sniff around and find their comfy resting spot. I live in a quiet neighborhood for walking with a park nearby.

Each day starts with potty breaks—puppies and dogs with bladder or health issues go first, followed by the rest. Morning feedings come next, and then the day’s activities vary depending on the group. I rotate between walks, training sessions, grooming, structured play, and relaxing time in my fenced-in yard while I work outside. Dogs are crated anytime I leave the house and again overnight for safety and routine (crate training is something I can help with if needed). I maintain a consistent potty schedule every 2–4 hours and can administer any type of medication as directed. This is what I do every day—and I take pride in keeping things safe, clean, calm, and enjoyable for every dog who stays with me. My background as a professional dog trainer gives me a strong foundation in dog behavior, body language, and pack dynamics. I didn’t have to learn everything the hard way—I’ve had over a year of hands-on mentorship with some of the top trainers in the area, and I continue to seek their guidance and sharpen my skills. That experience allows me to manage dogs safely and confidently, even in challenging situations. In my home, every dog is respected for who they are. I don’t let emotional attachment cloud my judgment—I honor the animal side of every dog and prioritize safety, structure, and calm energy. I’ve become obsessed with learning to speak their language, and that obsession shows in how I read behavior, prevent conflict, and create a peaceful environment. Dogs are always crated when unsupervised and at night, and I keep a consistent routine of potty breaks, feeding, medication, enrichment, and rest. Group sizes stay small so I can maintain control and meet each dog’s individual needs. This is a safe, secure, and respectful space for dogs to relax, reset, and be understood.

About: I have had pets my entire life. I have a boxer and a purple currently. I have watched my friends dogs while they are out of town. I have been a teacher for 20 years and I love to stay active, walking , hiking and aerobic sports. I know how hard it is to leave your pets and I would only leave my dogs with someone I truly trusted and that would give them the same love and affection as ibdo every day. I realize how difficult it is to trust someone with your "babies" and that is why I know I am a perfect person for the job. I know that dogs get so excited just to have someone pet them, let alone go on walks when their owners are away. I am a teacher and have all summer off. My own children are grown and independent, so I am able to work at all hours of the day. Having my own dogs, I know how important it is for them to be in their own environment where they are more comfortable and relaxed. Dogs know when there owners are away,so to be in their happy place is very important.

About: I have been around and taken care of all kinds of animals dogs, cats, hamsters, Guinea pigs, fish, birds of all shapes and sizes, ducks, chickens, tarantula, pig, ferret, and hermit crabs I am currently working part time so I will be able to give your furry, finned, feathered, family members all the love and care that they need. I give them access to all the food, water, treats and toys. To keep them happy, healthy, relaxed or occupied by playing with them whether it's just talking to them, playing with toys with them or going on walks. They are allowed on the furniture

About: I’ve grown up with cats, dogs, and horses and have always been there for family members and neighbors when pet care services were needed. My sister got a puppy last year and I helped raised her, took her on walks, groomed her, etc. My other older sister was a dog trainer for years and taught me a lot about dog training. I’ve got experience with large dogs (grew up with Great Danes) but also small dog experience (had a shnoodle while in high school). I also volunteered at the local Humane Society to take many dogs out for walks, clean their cages, and help get them accustomed to people. I’m a nurse who works 3 days a week and on my off days I’d love to spend time caring for animals. I currently care for my cat but also dog sit for family/friends as needed. I do not have a fenced in yard but I will put your pet on a leash and take them outside as much as possible, especially for walks. As for cats, I will interact with them as much or as little as they’d like! I will clean up if an accident happens, give them lots of pets, and give fresh water and food as wanted.
