About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child, having had 3 dogs growing up, and now have my own dog, a Mini Schnauzer. I believe in positive training and care, letting our best furry friends live their best lives while with us, so there will be lots of naps, play and even beach time (with your permission of course!) I work from home with my own consultancy business so I have a lot of flexible time to care for your pet. I love spending time with animals and incorporate that with my daily activities, I can give them several short walks and play, and also plenty of naps and rest. I have a small side yard and have access to a small dog park nearby our community. I have one friendly dog but can separate him if needed, ie your pet can be downstairs and my dog can be upstairs. If you prefer your dog to be crated, I can do that as well.

I am a current volunteer at an animal shelter doing what I can to help find good homes and loving families for the animals in our care. I have 2 years experience working for a non-profit cat rescue organization training volunteers to handle and clean care for the animals. There's nothing in this world that brings more joy into my life than loving on animals. I'm currently working part-time from home. I am available 7 days a week to help with your pet needs. Rest assured your pets are in good hands. I have a large, fenced in backyard and a dog park within walking distance. My senior cat can be separated in the upstairs rooms if needed.

About: I have been around dogs my entire life. Growing up, my family usually had a dog around. I always enjoy meeting my friend's and family's pets as well. I've have learned to love all diffrent kinds of sizes and temperaments. I helped take care of my little buddy for 15 years. He was a Pomeranian that also got along with my rescue cat. Friends have also trusted me to watch after their pets when they are out of town. I now have a pitbull mix that I rescued when she was a puppy. She has a lot of energy and love, she loves her long walks. She is about six years old now and is still going very strong. Most of the time our walks last at least 30 to 45 minutes. I have gone longer if she needs to. I am also an athlete, so if your doggy requires a little faster pace jog I am more than happy to do that as well. I love doing all kinds of fun activities with dogs. I can also drop in and just be a calming presence for your pet while you are away. I'd be happy to help in any way I can. I am currently working full time but I am looking to get my official start in this field. I am available for walking and drop ins on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 11am to 7pm. For the past 13 years I have had a dog and cat in the house. There was a slight adjustment period each time but it's not uncommon to find the two napping next to each other. I always ensure both of them are comfortable and taken care of. My pitbull mix was a covid lock down puppy, so she developed separation anxiety when I had to go back to work. Since then I have learned how to help her be comfortable while I'm away. Daily exercise and giving her a set schedule was a major factor. If I need to be away for longer than usual. I give her some calming treats from pet smart and watch an episode of a 30 min TV show with her while I wait for the treats to work. When I get up to leave, I tell her I'll be back and give her a hug. I will leave the TV show on for her and she seems to enjoy watching it when I come home.
