About: Hi there, I’m Emileigh! Since I was old enough to hold a leash, I have been the neighborhood pet sitter. I have lived in many different places and at each and every one of them, I have house-sat, walked neighbor’s dogs, and done regular checkups on pets of many different shapes and sizes. I have even had the privilege of working at a horse farm where I had the responsibility of feeding and caring for a variety of animals such as horses, cats, dogs, goats and donkeys. In other words, I deeply enjoy the company of animals, and I have found that caring for them is one of the most rewarding and worthwhile things that I can spend my time doing. I am a traditional artist with a constant desire for the company of furry friends, while also currently doing housekeeping on some weekday mornings. Due to the commission work I do being a very flexible, self-motivated type of profession, and my housekeeping commitment coming to a close in April, I am able to work around pet care, of which I primarily offer in the afternoons. The first goal that I set for myself when entering any pup’s home is to assess how they are doing while scanning the environment for any kinds of disturbances, or anything to note. When on walks, my priorities are safety, being aware of our environment, making sure that the pup is comfortable, and of course, making sure that we are having a good time! I fully believe that you can never ask too many questions, so I will make sure that I learn as much as I can about the pup and how to make them feel comfortable and cared for, as trust is very important to me. Overall, I will prioritize that both the pup and I are in the safest situations possible when it comes to both environment and being in the company of each other.

About: I worked in a busy 24/7 emergency vet hospital for 6 years. In that time I worked kennel, reception, and as an ICU assistant. I can give medications and insulin injections. I have a semi flexible schedule and my own reliable transportation. I have my own special needs dog and strive to give all dogs the same level of care I’d expect for my own dog. I love playing all kinds of games and offering enrichment to keep your furry family member from becoming bored. I also enjoy going for walks and would love a canine companion to tag along. I also have a Natural Healthcare for Pets certificate which helps me in dealing with stressed animals by using soothing touch and aromatherapy methods. I look forward to working with you and your pet! I currently work from home and typically have complete flexibility in my day to day schedule. Being able to work from home has allowed me to provide even better care for my own pets. I prefer if you have a fenced in yard or some other kind of secured lead. If not, then I don’t mind leash walking as well.

About: I’ve been a Dog Mom for 15 years. I’ve also been entrusted to dog-sit multiple neighbors’ dogs, including a wolf/Husky hybrid named Loki; 2 “pitbull” mixes, Dicey and Scooby; and a GSD/Lab mix named Mya who has regular sleepovers at my house. I have experience giving dogs oral, drop, injectable, and subcutaneous IV medications. I take care to pay attention to the temperature outside and a dog’s needs and adjust walks accordingly (no walking on hot asphalt, make sure dogs with no undercoat are suitably dressed in cold weather, etc.). I’m a firm believer in letting dogs experience the world around them through smell, and allow them to sniff to their nose’s content on walks. If your dog is prone to pulling, please have a suitable harness available for use. (I highly recommend PetSafe EasyWalk harnesses.) NO prong, choke, or shock collars! I look forward to meeting you and your pup!! I am currently a student at NCC, so classes and schoolwork may affect my availability; however, I am generally available for walks and drop-ins every day. I always ensure that your dog’s collar/harness and leash are secure so they won’t slip out on a walk. I bring poop bags on every walk, and a water thermos and bowl on longer walks. Food, potty breaks, and medicine administration can all be given at drop-ins. I have experience giving oral medications, eye drops, injections, and sub-q IV drips to my own dogs, and can do so for yours as well with as much care and love as if they’re my own.

I’ve worked as a veterinary technician for the past few years. I’ve worked in general practice, emergency animal hospitals, and even a pet hotel. I’ve cared for hundreds of patients, provided preventative care, treatments, medications, cleaned their kennels, walked dogs, and played with them. About: I am willing to come to your home to care for any type pet - days, evenings and/or overnights in your home. I have had many different animals. I love taking dogs on walks/hikes, giving us both excercise. I have even taken a cat out on a leash for a client. I don't believe in punishment for undesireable behavior. They need positive re-enforcement. I have also fostered dogs. I have a love of all animals and tend to treat them like my "children. Pets need and want lots of care and attention which I love to give them. I enjoy taking animals on walks to give them the exercise they need as well as playing with them. No matter what your routine is you must fit you pet(s) into everything you do as they are also part of the family and deserve the care you give to your family members and children.
