About: I have owned dogs and cats as well as multiple types of reptiles, fish, chickens and rabbits. I graduated with an associates degree in Aquarium Science Technology where I took operant conditioning classes as well as completed multiple internships working with animals of all kinds. About: I’ve always had a passion for pets, and my experience caring for animals runs deep. I've looked after my neighbors' dogs and cats, and I’ve taken care of my sister's big 110-pound dog along with her two mischievous kittens. Growing up with dogs, I’ve developed a solid understanding of their needs, and right now, I’m lucky to have two amazing pups of my own: a 12-year-old Chihuahua and a lively 5-year-old Pitbull. They’re the best of friends, and they’ve taught me a lot about senior dog care and playtime balance. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, and I’m committed to making sure your pets feel loved and well cared for while you’re away. I am a line dance instructor full time, so I have no issues fitting in pet care! I teach classes 4 times a week and sometimes I do dance events on Fridays. I am available for casual walks or play dates on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Friday mornings-afternoon, and am available for overnight boarding most weekends. I have two dogs in my home, one senior Chihuahua/Beagle mix and one young Pitbull mix. Both are up-to-date on all shots. I do have 1 crate available if needed. My pitty does typically get crated when I’m not home. Both dogs have access to food and water bowls. I do not have a fenced in yard, so I am very used to leashes. I love to take my dogs to the local dog park (5 minutes away). Both of my dogs are potty trained and leash trained. I am comfortable with walking dogs, feeding dogs, and administering oral medications.

About: I retired from teaching 3 years ago and have been caring for pets in their homes, cleaning litter boxes and taking dogs out for exercise during that time. I have personally owned 2 large dogs well into their senior years. I have had cats my entire life and still have one. I typically take care of cats and dogs when their owners are away; feeding, administering pills, bathing and cleaning ears and eyes, cleaning litter boxes, trimming claws, exercising/playing with dogs, and playing/cuddling with cats. I believe these visits have been the most rewarding activities of my life. As a retired teacher, I am flexible to care for pets any day of the week. I am also willing to stay overnight in your home and be your pet’s companion. I still have a cat of my own on whom I like to check at some point each day if staying nights at another pet owner’s home. Sometimes the owners I serve are away for 7-15 days at a time. I will send daily updates and pictures as well during your absence. I have been providing care for pets in the owners’ homes. I therefore water and feed the cats and dogs and administer pills, if needed. I clean litter boxes and tidy up, making sure pet hair, etc. is cleaned up. I get the mail and take out trash. I play/cuddle with the cats and exercise/play/cuddle with the dogs. I love to walk so I never get enough of walking dogs. I take extra precautions if dogs are anxious when I have to leave for a while, i.e., leave music playing or do something special with the dogs before I leave. The dogs usually sleep in the bed with me and we become great friends.

About: I have had pets my whole life, and feel extremely comfortable when it comes to caring for them. I am able to identify behaviors of pets if they are uncomfortable or need space and am able to provide them with either the space they need or the loving they need!! I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time for walks, drop ins or even boarding! I have a good amount of time on my hands and would love to help some fellow pet parents out. About: I have grown up with all kinds of animals from house pets to farm animals. I currently do Rover full-time and go to school online, but have worked at a dog boarding/training facility and have worked with/handled dogs of all sizes and breeds. Although I have more experience around dogs I love cats just as much! I have no issues with certain breeds, ages, sizes, or handling medicine (so long as it is nothing a professional vet should handle). I can’t wait to watch and care for your fur babies! I currently work full-time. I usually have two full days off each week for work and I have a very flexible schedule, giving me plenty of free time to walk, watch, and love your pets. I do have my own dog but unfortunately she is not friendly with other animals. Because of this I can only do daycare/overnight at clients own homes and walks/check-ins. I have plenty of personal and professional experience with aggressive animals and have no issues watching/walking aggressive dogs so long as both me and you are comfortable with it. With that being said it is important to me that any aggressive behavior whether with animals and/or people is told upfront and honestly as well meeting the dog ahead of time.

About: I've taken care of dogs/pets my whole life, my passion only grew larger for them as I grew older. They are truly the heart of the world and they give us the motivation to keep pushing forward. Not only do I have personal experience caring and medicating animals, but I also have experience dealing with aggressive dogs as well as previous experience working in a kennel/doggy-daycare where I cared for, walked, and medicating cats and dogs in my daily routine. I am also going to NC State currently, going to be a junior in the fall, majoring in animal science which has provided me with so much knowledge on animals and how to best care for them, ranging many species but specializing in companion animals. I'm currently out of college for summer break so I have plenty of time to spend with your furry family members and make sure they get the best experience possible while you're away. Personally, I have 2 cats and share 2 more and a dog with a disability with my mom so for me, pet care is a normal daily routine and therefore other forms of pet care are no hassle to add on and I'd love to help out and make sure you and your pet are getting what's best for the both of you! Having companion animals of my own, I know how worrisome it can become when you leave your door open to a stranger, especially with your furry friend's life at hand. Just know I would never treat an animal, person, or home with any type of disrespect nor would I ever imagine doing so. I treat others' things as my own and I'd say I keep things pretty organized and clean. Also, it is important to know that I am not only an animal enthusiast but I am also an animal welfare enthusiast and would do anything in my power to keep your furry friend safe under my watch.
