About: I was new to the pet ownership when I got my boys in 2019. I conducted thorough research since I was in need of an emotional support animal. In my quest, I found the perfect fur baby for me, the Biewer terrier. I started with one, however since my Denni suffered with anxiety and separation issues I felt it prudent to get him a companion. Two months later we welcomed Davis into the family and have never been happier. I relocated to Virginia at the start of the pandemic in 2020. One year later I suffered a health crisis which made it difficult for me to fully care for my boys. It took another two years before I made the difficult decision to rehouse them. Fortunately, I was able to turn them over to the loving care of my dentist. Since she brings them to work with her, I can still stop by to say hello and spend some time with them. Over time, my health improved, I was introduced to dog care and the rest is, as they say, history. I have found my passion. With a heart full of love for fur babies of all shapes, sizes and temperments, I'd be honored to care for your beloved fur babies in my home or yours. My time is my own. I am retired and home all day. I am flexible and willing to adjust my schedule to fit yours. I even offer pick-up/drop-off services when needed to lessen the burden on you. Let's work together to make things easiest for you. I live in a townhouse with stairs on the inside of the apartment. This allows the dogs to get plenty of exercise, as needed. I also have a balcony so your pets can be outdoors all day, if they so desire. I took care of a Greyhound who was very sweet but quiet. He would sit out on the balcony all day and never barked once. I can also take puppies in need of training. I trained my boys myself with the help of Cesar Millan and Brian McMillan (lol). I am also considering getting formal training. In the meantime, I seek knowledge from books and subscribe to several YouTube channels specifically geared towards dog training. I have potty pads, toys and treats in my home, as well as other items I use for training purposes. Recently, I did drop-in visits for two medium-sized dogs. One, a senior dog, the other a 5 month old Border Collie full of energy. I let them out in the backyard for 30 minutes. I made sure they had fresh water and then crated the Collie until the owner returned home.

I also volunteer at my local no-kill shelter and handle cats of all sizes. My husband and I live with our small introverted tripod dog and 2 cats in a house with a fenced-in backyard. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe with sidewalks. Our home is a relaxing space for senior, mellow, and/or introverted dogs - if your dog enjoys cuddling on the couch or slow strolls around a quiet neighborhood, then we have the perfect home! I also offer the following services separately: - Dog baths (shampoo + conditioner; $15/bath) - Cat nail trimming ($10/session) Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I work from home with a generally flexible schedule. I'm able to set my own hours for the most part and can be available over lunch as well as before and after work. I'm also able to take frequent breaks to let dogs outside in our fenced-in backyard with a 6-foot fence. After work, we will go for a walk around the neighborhood. I'm the primary caretaker but my husband helps when he is home. Boarding: I have a small, introverted tripod and 2 cats. As such, I will only board mellow, senior, and/or introverted dogs who are good with cats. My cats will not bother your baby as long as they don't bother the cats. Drop-ins: I understand every pet has its own personality and will respect their needs! I'm happy to play with your energetic companion or leave your shy loved one alone and let them come to me. No matter what, I am always attentive to their body language.

About: Hello! My name is Zach, I have two dogs and two cats of my own and have grown up with no less than four pets at any given time. Often when I meet people's furry companions I'm told they warm up to me faster than normal and even some times for the first time, so I'm open to try to care for almost any pet! Responsiveness, honesty, and genuine care should be expected from a pet sitter - let me know if I can help! My partner and I work from home so we're available and flexible throughout the week for all pet care services. Just let us know when and we can try to make it work! I have a big but unfenced yard, two sweet begal-hound mix brothers (one is energetic, the other lazy) and two sweet and playful cat sisters. It's a cozy and fun home environment. All the animals get plenty of attention (we love to play) and the dogs are let out consistently throughout the day. I can crate if needed, follow any special instructions, and we have a spare room if space is needed. Your pet will be treated as our own, just let us know!

About: I’ve had dogs on and off my entire life. For the last 12 years our family has rescued/adopted 11 dogs. I have kept family and friends' dogs while they vacation as well as done drop ins at their home for walks, feeding and cuddling. I have also taken care of goats and chickens. I will treat your pets how I would want someone to treat mine. I am comfortable around all size and breeds of dogs and cats as well as goats and chickens. I am self employed and have a very flexible schedule. I am available almost any time, including nights and weekends. Most schedules can be accommodated. I have 5 acres which about 1/2 acre is fenced in with 6-foot fencing. I can snuggle your dog on the couch or crate them if they feel more comfortable like that. I have my own personal dogs but keep them separate from other people's pets. If you leave directions of what your pets routine in your home is like I can provide for them in that manner.
