“Esteisy was amazing with our dog all week! She has a super spacious yard that our older dog loved rolling and playing in. She met up every morning and afternoon on time during drop off and pick up. She was very responsive with communication and sent us a report card with pictures and daily activities! We would definitely book with her again!”

“Michelle made our beagle feel right at home. She provided a safe, loving environment and sent picture updates daily. I am so happy we found her! We will definitely book again.”

“Fantastic dog sitter. This is the third time Mazie has stayed with Stephanie. We were in town for my daughters Fife and Drum Performances and it was so nice to know Mazie was well taken care of. Highly recommend Stephanie.”

About: I was new to the pet ownership when I got my boys in 2019. I conducted thorough research since I was in need of an emotional support animal. In my quest, I found the perfect fur baby for me, the Biewer terrier. I started with one, however since my Denni suffered with anxiety and separation issues I felt it prudent to get him a companion. Two months later we welcomed Davis into the family and have never been happier. I relocated to Virginia at the start of the pandemic in 2020. One year later I suffered a health crisis which made it difficult for me to fully care for my boys. It took another two years before I made the difficult decision to rehouse them. Fortunately, I was able to turn them over to the loving care of my dentist. Since she brings them to work with her, I can still stop by to say hello and spend some time with them. Over time, my health improved, I was introduced to dog care and the rest is, as they say, history. I have found my passion. With a heart full of love for fur babies of all shapes, sizes and temperments, I'd be honored to care for your beloved fur babies in my home or yours. My time is my own. I am retired and home all day. I am flexible and willing to adjust my schedule to fit yours. I even offer pick-up/drop-off services when needed to lessen the burden on you. Let's work together to make things easiest for you. I live in a townhouse with stairs on the inside of the apartment. This allows the dogs to get plenty of exercise, as needed. I also have a balcony so your pets can be outdoors all day, if they so desire. I took care of a Greyhound who was very sweet but quiet. He would sit out on the balcony all day and never barked once. I can also take puppies in need of training. I trained my boys myself with the help of Cesar Millan and Brian McMillan (lol). I am also considering getting formal training. In the meantime, I seek knowledge from books and subscribe to several YouTube channels specifically geared towards dog training. I have potty pads, toys and treats in my home, as well as other items I use for training purposes. Recently, I did drop-in visits for two medium-sized dogs. One, a senior dog, the other a 5 month old Border Collie full of energy. I let them out in the backyard for 30 minutes. I made sure they had fresh water and then crated the Collie until the owner returned home.

“We had a great experience with Qasheedra. From the moment we met, she and her family were warm, professional, and clearly experienced with dogs. She took the time to understand my dogs’ needs and routine, which really put me at ease. My dog came back happy, relaxed, and well cared for — I couldn’t ask for more. I’ll definitely be booking again. Highly recommend!”

“My pups loved their visit with Shawna. She sent lots of pics so we could see how they spent the day, which was much appreciated. We will definitely bring the dogs to her again!”

“Christene has been absolutely amazing with our dog, Pugston. Communication is 100 across the board, with such a flexible, and easy drop off and pick up. She communicates with us throughout the day, including photos of our fur baby. Whenever we need someone to book, Christene is our go to. You won’t be disappointed!”

“Victor and Abigail were awesome and took extra steps to make sure our anxious pup had a great time. They sent us videos and pictures every day, which we really appreciated. After his first day in daycare, my dog was very excited to return on the following days. He seemed to really like the folks who took care of him and was nice and tired once I picked him up. Staying with these folks was definitely a mini vacation for my dog!”

“Sarah did a fabulous job with Reno. He had fun, and she clearly loves having animals around so he felt welcome. She made me feel completely at ease leaving my precious pup for the day!”

“This family takes great care of our pup. When I pulled into the drive and Rosy recognized where we were, she was super excited! They love her and Rosy loves them right back!”

“Faafetai did a fantastic job caring for our dog. We can tell from the pictures that Hippo had a great run around the yard and was loved by the resident kids. We look forward to using Faafetai again!”

About: Hello, my name is Kathy and I offer overnight boarding, day care, and walking for mellow and senior dogs and I specialize in caring for cats and kittens. I have lived with and cared for both cats and dogs my whole life, from young ones to seniors, as well as sick pets who need medical attention. I am skilled at giving oral medication and shots. I also volunteer at my local no-kill shelter and handle cats of all sizes. My husband and I live with our small introverted tripod dog and 2 cats in a house with a fenced-in backyard. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe with sidewalks. Our home is a relaxing space for senior, mellow, and/or introverted dogs - if your dog enjoys cuddling on the couch or slow strolls around a quiet neighborhood, then we have the perfect home! I also offer the following services separately: - Dog baths (shampoo + conditioner; $15/bath) - Cat nail trimming ($10/session) Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I work from home with a generally flexible schedule. I'm the primary caretaker but my husband helps when he is home. Boarding: I have a small, introverted tripod and 2 cats. As such, I will only board mellow, senior, and/or introverted dogs who are good with cats. My cats will not bother your baby as long as they don't bother the cats. Drop-ins: I understand every pet has its own personality and will respect their needs! I'm happy to play with your energetic companion or leave your shy loved one alone and let them come to me. No matter what, I am always attentive to their body language.

About: Hello! My name is Zach, I have two dogs and two cats of my own and have grown up with no less than four pets at any given time. My partner and I work from home so we're available and flexible throughout the week for all pet care services. Just let us know when and we can try to make it work! I have a big but unfenced yard, two sweet begal-hound mix brothers (one is energetic, the other lazy) and two sweet and playful cat sisters. It's a cozy and fun home environment. All the animals get plenty of attention (we love to play) and the dogs are let out consistently throughout the day. I can crate if needed, follow any special instructions, and we have a spare room if space is needed. Your pet will be treated as our own, just let us know!

“Kathy has looked after our cat Marshmallow many times over the years and we've always found her to be dependable and trustworthy. She genuinely loves caring for animals. She goes above and beyond expectations to care for pets entrusted in her care. She always interacts with us in a professional manner showing kindness and consideration. I am grateful to have met her and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a pet-sitter.”

Brook C.
“Brook took care of my pups as if they were her own. It’s hard to find a real dog lover nowadays. Everyone else we’ve worked with seems to just focus on allotted time frames and visits that are convenient for the sitter. Brook truly cared for our dogs and interacts with them as I imagine she would with her own. Lots of love, attention, and playtime.”
