About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up surrounded by 5 English Mastiffs, a pitbull, and 5 cats, so I’ve cared for pets of all sizes and personalities. Most recently, I had the privilege of caring for my dog Rex during his final months, which gave me experience with health issues, medications, and supporting pets with disabilities. Over the years, I’ve also watched many different dogs, and nothing makes me happier than when they come back for another stay! It feels like welcoming back old friends. Being around animals truly brings out the best in me, and I treat every pet as if they’re part of my own family. Whether your pet is playful and energetic, shy and gentle, or needs a little extra care, I’ll provide the love and attention they deserve. Feel free to contact me with any questions at any time! I’m available every day for walks and house sitting! I’m currently in PA school and have just one in person class from 8:30-11 Monday-Thursday. If I have to leave them for any amount of time I will be fully transparent and I will make sure it’s within the time frame you prefer! If needed I can take a pet for a day. I’m currently in graduate school at Upstate Medical and just have a class from 8:30-11. But your pet will always be treated like a family member! They will be safe, loved, and well fed. I love playing outside with dogs because it’s the best part of their day!
About: I have been around various animals my entire life and I’m trying to find a way to include more animals in my life and help others along the way. My schedule is pretty open during the summer as a teacher although when school is in session I’m with my students M-F 8am-4pm. I will not be able to care for pets in my own home but I am willing to travel to homes for pet sitting / walking.

She was always punctual, and she kept in touch throughout. Whenever she had a question, she texted me right away, and she sent photos to make sure she was doing everything exactly the way I wanted. That attention to detail gave me real peace of mind while I was away. She took care of all the essentials thoughtfully, not only filling the food and water bowls but washing them too, and she kept the litter boxes clean throughout. What impressed me most, though, was how gently she approached my kitties. They are quite skittish, and Katherine respected that, interacting with them delicately and patiently rather than forcing anything. One of them even came out to see her at feeding time, which says a lot about how calm and trustworthy she is. When I came home, all three kitties seemed relaxed and content, which is the best sign that they were in good hands. Katherine is reliable, caring, and clearly loves animals. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
