“Once again you have done an amazing job McKenzie you took really good care of my baby and I feel so relieved. Thank you so much Luckie😊 and I really appreciate you. We look forward to seeing you soon.”
“Heather and her husband were so patient with Miley when she developed an unexpected bout of separation anxiety. She and her family went above and beyond to help Miley settle in. I'm grateful for the updates she provided - Miley clearly had fun with other dogs and kids around. I highly recommend Heather and her family to others looking for exceptional care for your pets.”
“Boarding your dog with Lisa is unlike most sitters you'll find on Rover. While I have no doubt everyone on here loves dogs, Lisa has the advantage of huge piece of land and other dogs to play with. For me this was perfect since Ox is full of energy and grew up in a pack. Highly recommended if this sounds appealing to you and your doggies.”
“Cynthia and her husband were amazing. Kept us up to date, and we’re available to us even at the last minute. They took great care of our dogs and have a very amazing pup themselves. My pups came back happy energetic. Great communication and fast replies.”
“Ashley was great! Flexible with drop off and pick up times and she sent me pictures throughout my dog’s stay, making me feel more at ease as we were out of town. Will definitely book with Ashley again if we are ever back in the area.”
“Giovanni did excellent with my reactive GSD. He was patient, understanding, and did excellent with her. She had so much fun, he sent plenty of pictures and updates, and she came back super tired! Definitely would recommend and trust him with your furry babies. We will be using him again!”
“Judith took such GOOD care of our fur baby!!! She went above and beyond. She sent frequent updates including pictures and videos, she gave our dog multiple baths because she was shedding, and she even got her some itch spray because she started itching while we were away. Judith was also very flexible with our needs before and during our dog’s stay. Can’t say enough great things and highly recommend!”
“Kristine was an excellent host to our little Olive. She gave us photo updates and took great care of her. When we're back in the area, we'd definitely use Kristine again! :-)”
About: There are a lot of dog sitters out there, but what sets me apart from other sitters is, that i have had years of experience with dogs and cats! I can’t wait to take care of all the cute, happy, and tail wagging dogs/cats that this job has to offer. Overall, I am excited to meet new people, personalities, and getting love from my new four-legged friends!! Furthermore, I will never let you or your fur babies down!! Hope to see you soon!! Im currently part-time, so I do have plenty of time to spend with your babies, while you’re away! quality time is so important, and making sure they have everything they need. I do have a fenced in backyard! But leashes and harnesses are still required, just in case. If you’re comfortable, i do let my personal dogs free-range the back yard. I also have a doggy door, that connects to the garage, they can come in and out of, where they have their own space to cool down in the AC.
“Excellent care of my 2 pups. When I brought their beds in from the car they sniffed the sitters house for a while. The sent photos are like Glamor Shots and sent multiple a day. They were definitely spoiled during their stay. They have a large Mastiff, but he's a sweetheart. Would definitely recommend.”
“Gabrielle did great with my dogs Bentley and Roxy. It was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous, but she sent me pictures of my pups everyday which helped me feel better being away from them. If I need someone to take care of my dogs again, I will definitely reach out to Gabrielle.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Nahunta home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
