About: Always joking that dogs are superior but in truthfulness love all animals. Experienced with dogs but open to providing care for other pets. Will strictly adhere to owner requests, so long as they are humane. (Furniture ok vs not allowed, food/walking schedule, treats, etc.). There will be no shortage of affection and attention, assuming the pet is receptive. Open to assisting with reactive or challenging pets. Attempting to build a trusting bond is an inherent desire. Work from home so (brief) walks, potty breaks, playtime, etc can be provided through entirety of day. Longer walks before 8am or after 5pm. Available 24/7 on weekends and holidays. Live alone so no concerns about other pets or children. Have decent sized yard but do require a leash since there is no fence. Safe, quiet, and friendly neighborhood.

About: I have been taking care of my families dogs for as long as I can remember and I also have my own dog and I love spending time with animals and getting to be a part of their happiness! I am currently working full time as a caregiver, however, I have Saturday evenings off and I have all day on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays off so I will have plenty of time to play with your animals! I have my own pup who loves to play with other dogs and i have lots of toys, I also have a crate available if your pup would need to be crated for any reason.

“Alexus was wonderful with our fur babies! We have grumpy 15 year Yorkiepoo, Dooney, that doesn’t do great with new people, but and he was fine with Alexus. She even gave Dooney his medicine. We also have a rescue Yorkie that weighs 2 pounds who needs to be coaxed to eat. Alexus let him sit on her lap and held his food dish until he was comfortable enough to eat! She’s the dog whisperer ? Alexus was great with communication, very flexible and sent us awesome photo updates every day. We would love to have Alexus look after our babies again, and would recommend her to others!”

About: I've been house sitting for friends and family since I was 12. It allowed me to supplement my income and work with the animals that I have loved since a young age. I was a vet tech in high school and during the first few summers in college, gaining small animal medicine and husbandry experience. In addition, I worked at a two different doggy day cares throughout my graduate and undergrad degrees, gaining a lot more experience with dogs and a little bit of dog training. Both of these degrees are also in animal science. I love pets of all kinds and have looked after everything from horses to dogs and cats, to birds. I am new to the area as a recent Penn State hire and don’t have established contacts for dog sitting like I did in the areas that I lived for my degrees. I work full-time but have a fair amount of flexibility to work remotely up to 3 or 4 days a week. If you have a stable wifi connection I will be more available to spend time with your pups although there may still be some days I need to be gone for work for up to 8 hours. I am willing to stay with your pets overnight if that is your preference. I will not be boarding dogs as my landlord does not allow pets. I am respectful of your home and space and treat your pets as I would my own!

About: I've had pets in my life since I was a child - dogs, cats, rabbits, and rats! I currently have one large dog (German Shepherd mix) and a cat. I'm comfortable caring for all sizes and types of dogs, any cats, or other small animals. I've worked with a trainer for my own dog for reactivity, and have experience walking and taking care of large dogs. I have a part time job, but can be around mornings and nights for days I work. On days i dont work I can be around during the day as well. About: No dog is too big or small. Will walk, feed, pick up poop, play and snuggle! Your dog will be in good hands!! woof woof I am currently working full time as a teacher so I am available after school, on weekends, and everyday over the summer!! I can also be available over holiday breaks too!!! I have a yard that is not fenced in, but I walk my own dogs on leashes 3 times a day. I am available to walk or just hang out. About: i experienced working as Vet Tech at Forbes. i been working there for 2 and half years. About: I’ve had dogs as long as I can remember. Currently have 2 Coton De Tulears plus four alpacas, three bee hives, and over 125 birds (poultry). I work remote so my schedule is flexible. About: As an incoming 1st year vet student, I have devoted over 8000 hours to veterinary medicine. This has given me experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes, including young puppies, senior dogs, fractious cats, and medically complex pets. Additionally, I am a dog foster and have recovered medically complex pups from intense surgeries/traumas. Given those experiences, I am comfortable administering medications both orally and injectables, as well as recognizing signs and symptoms of illness. As well, I have a behaviorally complex German Shepherd of my own, and feel comfortable recognizing and avoiding triggers, or safely deescalating situations if they arise. I currently work at an emergency vet with varying shifts, including some overnights, weekends, and evenings. This also means I have many days I can spent my time exclusively with your pets to get some energy out during the daylight! I welcome the opportunity to discuss my schedule during your trip specifically! After a lifetime in veterinary medicine & kennel assistant responsibilities, I’ve learned the ins and outs of pet safety, especially with behaviorally complex pets. About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and have had experience owning other pets such as geckos, cats, and snakes. I’ve been a pet sitter for a little over two years. My true passion for pet sitting comes from my desire to be accompanied by them, dogs specifically. I work with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and personalities. While studying for my undergrad, I was actually in charge of all the live animal specimens present on the University grounds. I ensure they are met with sufficient attention, exercise, nutrition, and safety while under my supervision. Minimizing stress is my biggest concern (my dog has separation anxiety so I know how it can be). I’ve found it helpful in the past to use my own dog as a bridge between myself and the client’s pet, as his presence tends to build confidence and reassurance.

About: I work as a veterinary technician and am looking for a side job. Working with animals is my true passion and if you keep your pet with me, they are guaranteed to be in safe hands. I can do drop offs Monday mornings on my way to work. I can do pick up Fridays when I’m off. I work from home and I live on 10 acres of lovely mountain property. I do not have a fenced yard. I do have 2 outdoor 12X10 kennels set up. I would never let a dog go out potty without me on a leash. I spend about 30 minutes outside with my own dogs every 1.5 hours. I am outside most of the day unless it’s extremely hot or cold. I am with the animals 24/7. If your dogs likes to be outside I can put them in the kennels for extra outside time. If they like to be inside I can leave them inside while I take other dogs pee. I have a Furbo camera installed so I can view them at all times. Must be good with cats.
