“Maria & Nayibe are awesome, highly recommended! We weren’t sure how our puppy would do all day with other dogs the first time. They went out of their way to introduce slowly and everything worked out great. Appreciate the flexibility on early hours and that you treated Rory like your own. The pictures show she thought it was her house as well! She is a picky annd light eater and the fact she was eating there both days tells me all I need to know. Thank you! Look forward to having her with you again!”

Contact me today to discuss your dog’s needs, and let’s make sure they have a great time while you’re gone! I currently work from home full time so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups and take them outside! They will have 24 hour attention while in my care. When dog sitting, the primary responsibility is ensuring the dog feels safe, loved, and comfortable while its owner is away. Here's how you can care for a dog during your dog-sitting duties: Establish a Routine: Dogs thrive on routine. Stick to the schedule for feeding, walks, bathroom breaks, and bedtime that the dog is used to. This helps reduce stress and anxiety. Feeding: Follow the instructions provided by the dog’s owner about portion size, timing, and any special dietary needs. Ensure the dog has fresh water available at all times. Exercise and Playtime: Dogs need regular exercise, so make sure to take the dog for walks or let it play in a safe, enclosed area. Playtime can be a great bonding activity, so try to engage in activities that the dog enjoys, like fetch or tug-of-war. Bathroom Breaks: Take the dog out for bathroom breaks according to its usual schedule, whether it’s a couple of times a day or more often, depending on its age, breed, and health. Comfort and Safety: Make sure the dog feels at home by providing familiar bedding, toys, and any other items it typically uses. Avoid leaving the dog alone for long periods, and ensure the environment is safe (e.g., securing dangerous household items and keeping hazardous areas off-limits). Health Monitoring: Keep an eye on the dog’s health. If there are any changes in its behavior, eating habits, or if it shows signs of illness, contact the owner and/or a veterinarian for advice. Affection and Attention: Offer plenty of love and attention, but be mindful of the dog’s personality. Some dogs may want constant affection, while others might prefer some personal space. Get to know the dog’s cues and respect its boundaries. Communication with the Owner: Stay in touch with the dog’s owner to provide updates and ask any questions if needed. If any emergencies or unexpected situations arise, don’t hesitate to reach out for guidance. By providing attention, care, and safety, you can ensure a positive experience for the dog and peace of mind for the owner while they’re away.

About: Our family dog passed away in 2023, and we are not ready to get another dog, but love animals (we have chickens)! We started pet sitting this past year and really enjoyed it! We have experience with puppies through elder dogs. I work from home so frequent potty breaks and extra snuggles are not an issue! Must be good with children (we have 3), but youngest is almost 6. Look forward to chatting to see if we would be a good fit for your fur baby. I work from home, so frequent potty breaks & walks are not an issue. Very flexible and willing to work with your schedule as well. We do not have a fenced in yard, but we do have a yard stake lead and can easily take out on a leash as well. Can provide food/water dishes if needed. Happy to work with you on what your dog needs to feel comfortable.
