“Kaila was our petsitter for about 4 months while we had to temporarily relocate to Macon for a work project. She did Daily Drop In visits once a day for our senior dog Monday thru Friday. In that time, she has more than proven herself to be extremely dependable (zero call-outs), highly communicative, kind & attentive to our boy’s needs so much so that our Landlord & family also ended up joining Rover to have Kaila assist them in Daily Drop In Visits as well when needed. “Colby was amazing. He did really well with my excitable dog and aloof cat. He didn’t get to meet the cat when he came for a meet and greet but still managed to make friends with her, and that is impressive. My dog is epileptic and there is a medicine schedule but Colby handled it with ease. This was my first time using Rover and I am thrilled with it. I was so glad to find someone I could trust on short notice to take care of our pets. We were camping and away from cell service most of the time but I need not have worried about anything. Colby had it handled. I sure hope he will continue to watch our pets in the future.”

About: I’ve worked at the rescue in my hometown for a few years now, I’ve worked in 2 different grooming salons, and have also been involved with some vets. Working at a rescue and a grooming salon gives you so much experience to learn more about each breed and each dog. You get to learn everything about each sweetheart so we’ll over time that you also start to love them like they’re you’re own. I had to deal with almost every experience when it comes to pets as well. I love dogs so very much they have such a soft place in my heart and it’s always great to get to learn about their owners as well when they’re steady customers! Boarding and grooming is something I do full time on my own, I’m home all the time unless I need to run and errand or two. Your pets will get lots and lots of attention their whole stay! We live where there is a fenced in property, 2 large dogs who are very pet friendly. We take up lots of time with pets staying with us to make them feel as comfortable as possible and just because we absolutely love all fur babies!

About: I grew up on a farm and have always had pets, plus have years of experience working with animals. I currently work as a dairy manager and live on the property so I’m pretty much working in my backyard, which allows me to be very hands-on with animals on the property but also gives me the schedule flexibility to come to you! We also have a lot of land at the dairy, which allows for good walks/exercise and stimulation for high energy dogs. I’m set up for indoor or outdoor care and can work things around to accommodate your pet’s specific needs. About: I've owned & taken care of animals from all walks of life. I currently have a 16 year old Blue Heeler, Calvin, & my newest best friend, a 6 month old Dalmatian puppy, Ivy. I also have 2 five year old cats, Escargot & Fugu. I'm experienced in fostering and rescue and I've raised several animals from puppies and kittens, but I have an extra soft spot for seniors. Ivy has been trained by Serenity k9 here in Macon and I am very well versed in prong collar & E-Collar training. I'm super active (walking/running a minimum of 2 miles a day), have a Subaru for transportation, and both of my dogs are trained and friendly. I work full time, but I work 4 days on, 3 days off. I go for regular walks and can work out a schedule for mid -day potty breaks if necessary on a working day. I prefer in-home visits for your animals. I can come up to 3 times a day (more if needed), go on regular, short or long walks, and spend plenty of time with your animals. I believe in scooping litter boxes EVERY day. I have a Dalmatian puppy that enjoys all other animals if your dog would like company on an outing. I can administer medication orally, topically, or through injections. I'm well versed in senior and puppy care and capable of lifting 50+ lbs. My dogs are professionally trained by a certified trainer and I know how to use most types of collars (E-Collar, prong, etc) properly. I can bathe your dog or deliver them to a groomer of your choice. I have my own car & extra crates and carriers if necessary. For boarding, I have a fenced in yard & 2 dogs of my own, both fully trained, vaccinated, & friendly with other trained dogs. I have secluded rooms (with sound machines & a/c) for crating dogs while at work.
