“Kash had a wonderful time staying with Briana, her family and his new friend Duke! Briana sent several pictures daily and kept up updated on his eating, playing and sleeping routine. We knew he was getting the love and attention as if he was home.”

“This was not only my first time using Rover, but also the first time I left my dog with anyone other than family. And Eeyore would like to consider Alli family! He had the most wonderful time from the moment we pulled up and he was introduced to her and her pets. Alli kept in touch with adorable photos and videos all weekend. She showed Eeyore such kindness while he was adjusting to a new location, and gave me the ability to enjoy my vacation worry free! Eeyore got along great with his new best dog pal Jack, and who knew he would even leave with a pig pal too! Eeyore cannot wait to go back to what we now refer to as his “Disneyworld”! Thanks Alli for a great experience 💙🐶”

About: I have had a dog my entire life. When my last one passed, my heart was broken and I haven’t been able to get another one. I watched my daughter’s dog for a year but took her back about a year ago to Idaho). I work from home and it’s very quiet without any four-legged friends to keep me company throughout the day. I would love to help you out by watching your fur baby (& I can’t lie, it would make my heart happy to do so :)) I work from home and have the flexibility to take them out for walks as needed. I walk multiple times a day & would love to share that with a dog. Because I work from home, I am easily able to give a lot of love to your fur baby so that you can relax and not worry about a thing. I will love them like they are my own!

“Margaret and Dermott were absolutely wonderful! We felt very comfortable and knew our pup was in good hands. Margaret gave plenty of updates/pictures to make sure we knew our dog was relaxed and having a great time. We are truly so happy we found them!”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and absolutely love caring for animals. In high school, I worked at a local boarding and day care facility in my hometown in New York, helping care for both dogs and cats. I’ve also watched pets for family and friends over the years, gaining experience with all ages and temperaments. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a senior dog, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away! I’m a teacher, so during the summer I have lots of availability and spend a lot of time at home with family, friends, and my own dog. During the school year, my availability is a bit more limited. I’m happy to customize care based on your dog’s needs, including limiting activity to one level if that’s best for them. If your dog is used to a crate, I can include that to help them feel comfortable and secure. Daily walks are part of the routine to keep your dog active and engaged. Since I don’t have a fenced yard, I always keep dogs on a leash to ensure their safety while outside. We also have one friendly dog at home who’s great company and would love to keep your fur baby company too.

“Dani was great keeping me up to date and sending pictures of Popi while I was gone. I loved seeing all of the adventures they went on, and she truly kept Popi busy! Popi has been pooped since she got home which means she had a great time.”

About: I think dogs are good people. My dogs are family members. Our dogs passed away a little more than a year ago so we are dog sitting for family and friends. My granddaughter suggested checking out Rover and applying to dog sit. We had friends from church go on a 3 week trip and watched their golden doodle. Most gentle dog ever. I can use them for reference if needed. I consider dogs a family member. Always watching a dogs body english to make sure they are comfortable and safe. Currently retired. When dog sitting I usually take them outside once an hour. We walk routinely and when dog sitting we bring them with us. We have two walking routes. A one mile walk through our small neighborhood or go to a park close by and walk by a river. Also used to giving dogs their medication when necessary. The last dog we took care of for 3 weeks needed daily arthritis meds. Pet care to me is as natural as breathing. Always checking their water and food. When dog sitting I never let the dog off the leash. My Aussie, when he was alive, was trained to not leave the yard so a leash was not necessary. But with family dogs and friends dogs I always put a leash on. Our home is dog safe. We do not use pesticides or other harmful chemicals. Even during winter I use pet friendly ice melters for the sidewalk when necessary. As far as trust I have 40 plus years experience with dogs and friends and family trust their dogs with me. Each dog that was with me always selected their own safe spot. We kept a healthy routine of exercise and rest. I watch the dog’s body English for hints of needing rest or exercise. During the day and evening it is not uncommon for me to take them outside every hour. We use water from our water filter. If I will not drink water from the faucet then I believe nether should my dog. My dogs have their own bed. When my Aussie was alive he preferred to nap under a big plant in the living room. Our house is air conditioned for a safe relaxing atmosphere. Dogs cannot get to the trash can. No treats there.

About: We currently own a Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier named Loki and have a chubby, kleptomaniac cat name Murray who steals all things. I have always owned a dog and I have a couple of years as a vet tech for experience. I currently work full time from home; however, I can be availble during evenings and weekends. I can be a little bit flexible during the work week but would need a little bit of notice. Our dog is extremely well-behaved and never leaves our yard and knows the boundaries. Since I work from home, I am the main care taker of our animals and I would treat client's animals as my own. I also have a top-secret clearance with the government which also means that I am trustworthy and uphold all morals and values.

“Symantha was EXTRAORDINARY! I was nervous about leaving my recently rescued puppy with someone new that I also didn’t know. My fears were quickly eliminated by her. Symantha has a Heeler and our pups were thick as thieves! I was regularly reassured with pictures and videos of Biscuit and all their aventures, he was having his own vacation! I will definitely use Symantha again!!”

“I’ve known Sherri for over 15 years. She’s been a loving dog mom to 4 different dogs in that time frame she walked her dogs daily. She provided them high quality food, supplements, bones and toys. She has a love of all animals. She plants flowers in her yard just to feed the bees. She feeds all the local wildlife as well. All of her dogs have crossed the rainbow bridge. She travels often and cannot have a dog of her own now. She wants to give back to her community in any way she can. She’s involved in her church , local food drives and helps out her neighbors. She enjoys being active and exercises by speed walking daily. She would love to take some dogs on her walks for companionship .”
