“If I could leave 100 stars for Tara, I certainly would! She was that great. This was my first booking with Rover and boy did I win. I met Tara for a meet and greet, and instantly knew she was a person I could trust with my home and animals. She is very intelligent, sweet as can be, observant, very much in tune with animals, trustworthy, honest, impeccable communication, follows directions extremely well, and handles unexpected situations perfectly. Tara stayed for 5 days while I flew out of state and she made my trip so much less stressful. I never wondered how my critters were doing. I never once worried about them. I never once had to ask how things were going. She followed my directions perfectly, communicating always. She sent pictures and videos of my critters which warmed my heart to no end. She even bought my cat a new toy!!! My dog gets so fixated when he plays ball that nothing else exists, including big objects that he runs into lol. Sweet boy ran into the well pump house and did a little yip. Tara checked him over, and texted me letting me know what happened, no cuts, no bumps, but she will keep an eye on him and recheck in two hours. Sure enough, without me even asking, she rechecked him, telling me no bumps, no swelling, no cuts, and he’s not acting weird. I was never concerned one bit because Tara was so thorough, knowledge, and comforting on every level. Additionally, one of the cows on my property delivered her baby unexpectedly and Tara just knew what to do with this situation. When I got home, my neighbor, the owner of the cows, made a special trip over to let me know how wonderful Tara was and how much he appreciated her being there while I was gone. He couldn’t say enough positive things about her. He was just so happy. Tara if you see this, thank you again and again. About: Hi! I am at Surgical technologist working in Paducah looking to sit some pets and/or watch your house while you are away! Depending on the distance I am available most evenings and weekends. Overnight stays may be different depending on where you live. I have 4 Maine coons, 2 tuxedos, and 2 labs. I’ve had guinea pigs, birds, and fish during my life as well. I am a pet lover! I do work a full time job during the week. 8 hour shifts in Paducah. I live in Kuttawa so depending on your location will depend on how much I can offer. My cats are indoor only. One Maine coon does go out with a leash and has an air tag just in case. The dogs have a buried electric fence. Although my dogs are not very active, I am an active person and love to go on walks. We can always go on walks or hang out at the dog park.

About: I have experience with all dogs, and I specialize in small/medium sized dogs. I know what it feels like to leave your baby in the care of another person, so I am extremely mindful and cautious at all times! I am currently dog mom to a 5-month old Daschund named Manny! I am currently working a full-time job Monday through Friday, but I am available for drop in visits and walks every week day, and on weekends!! I also prefer a written list of special things to keep in mind while taking care of your dog. I live in a very safe neighborhood that is great for walking dogs in. when the weather is hot, I am always making sure the dog I’m caring for is feeling good and hydrated. when I am staying at a client’s home, I always go above and beyond to ensure the comfort of the dog. I love to make the dog feel safe with me, and to let as much energy out as possible. I love being outside as much as possible, so your dog will never feel bored or understimulated when they are with me.

About: I've had pets since I was very young. I started taking care of friends pets and my own since I was 15. I currently have 4 dogs, 2 rats, a ball python, and have had cats in the past. I currently work full time but am able to care for your pets in the afternoon and on Fridays and Saturdays. I can also take time off to care for your fur babies if given ample time to ask off or find coverage for my job. I currently cannot do anything in the home I live in as it's not mine and there are too many animals living here, however I am able to care for your pets in your home as I would my own. I respect boundaries from pet parents and will always do things within the rules and boundaries told to me when caring for your fur babies.

About: I’ve grown up in a multi-pet household with 3 cats and a large dog. I am currently in a 3 cat household that is friendly and open to other pets! I am currently working a part-time job that is flexible over the summer. I’d love to work for you and I am open to anything! I have a play pen for smaller animals if necessary, as well as 3 friendly cats and a large open yard. I also live on a low-traffic road that is perfect for walks!

About: I am a college student who has been taking care of animals since I was in kindergarten. I have always had at least 1 dog and 1 cat in every household I have been in. I currently have an Australian Shepard and 2 cats. I really like animals, so this would be great to get to love other animals. I am only at college for a few hours a day, otherwise I am home. I live in a house with my spouse, and we have plenty of time on our hands. I plan to follow the same routine for their pets as I would with my own. I take my dog out in the morning, afternoon, and evening. I take my dog out on a 30 minute walk everyday, and I pet on the animals for at least 20 minutes every day. If training is needed, I can teach basic commands while individuals are away.

About: Since I was little, I’ve had a variety of pets I’ve taken care of. From dogs and cats, to lizards, fish, and guinea pigs. I also worked at a veterinary clinic from August of 2021 to the beginning of May 2022, and only had to quit because of my graduation program. I have bathed and trimmed nails before, but if your dog bites or nips I may stray away from pushing further. I am signing up for Rover in order to continue to work with animals this summer before going back to school. And I cannot wait to meet your fur baby! (only reason my profile says no pets is because i don’t need a sitter) I am currently only employed at one other place and I would hardly call it a part time job. In June I am scheduled to work about 6 days in the entire month, so besides my own vacation days, I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I will let you know ASAP if you schedule a day with me that doesn’t work out, and will try my absolute hardest to work around it for you! My yard is not fenced in but I have a variety of leashes, harnesses, and slip leads to accompany your pet. All the pets in my home are in cages when we are not home, to contain messes and mass destruction. I have 1 large dog kennel that is not taken up, and 2 small cat carriers.

About: I’ve had dogs of my own for 25 years, and I have raised one by myself for the last 5 years. I love fur babies and want them to all feel loved. I have a very flexible work schedule and am able to take on jobs pretty much daily. Sometimes I do travel home, but that is not often. I can / will do anything you need from easily crating your dog, to playing with them and providing care to them. Feeding them, playing with them, just giving them company are all things I can do.
