“Jordan was great! He took super good care of Monk. When we picked him up he was so tired he slept the whole car ride home (and he’s a cattle dog mix so that’s saying something). Sounds like they had a great day walking around Jordan’s massive property. Would highly recommend, we’ll definitely be asking Jordan to dog sit Monk again.”
2. Daniel A.

4. Linda M.
“Very impressed how Linda treated Oscar my Maltese with full attention that made my husband and I feel good about leaving Oscar. Now we don’t need to worry the next time we go for a long vacation. We finally found someone we fully trust and take care of our baby like family. My dog also learned how to ring the bell when he needs to go out. Linda doesn’t only took care of our Oscar but also trained him something he can do that we were not aware about . Kudos to Linda.”
5. Kristin H.
“Kristin was awesome. I have a senior dog who is highly anxious yet he seemed to enjoy his time with her. She has a backyard. My dog loves being outside, so she was able to stay outside with him for a long time. She also was able to give his medicine. We will ask Kristin to sit for us again.”
6. Kayla A.
“Kayla has watched my dog many times throughout the last year. She is very professional, and experienced. She has always been very fairly priced and flexible. My dogs excitement when I drop him off shows me what great hands he is in.”
7. Brittany M.
“Brittany always puts her animals first. She bought her home with land because her dogs deserve to be able to run and exercise. She has the biggest heart and her love for ALL does not go unnoticed. Her dogs are always well maintained and cared for. I would recommend her to everyone!”
8. Maria Fernanda & Jesper G.
“I left my puppy for the day during a trip to ski at Kirkwood, it was a bit of a detour, but the experience was amazing for my dog. Their own dog is friendly and played with mine, hikes and walks. Maria Fernanda and Jesper sent me pictures and videos of fabulous settings with my dog. I will definitely consider them again, especially for longer boarding stays.”
9. Jennifer L.
“Jennifer was very responsive and accommodating. I accidentally booked the wrong date, but in our text conversation, I had discussed the correct dates with her. On the correct day of the date I needed her to watch my dog, I called her frantically thinking that she wouldn’t be available since I booked a different date, but she was accommodating and changed the date to the correct one. She’s located near Dodge Ridge, so we dropped my dog off early in the morning and went snowboarding then picked him up on the way home. Very convenient. I have an old dog that requires special care like medicine, special food, diapers, anxiety, and etc and she followed my detailed instructions very well. My pup also seemed to enjoy being under her care despite his anxiety. Will be happy to bring him back!”
10. Secret P.
“Secret has been awesome with Spartacus! I get updates on how he’s doing while I’m at work, I know he’s getting lots of love and attention while I’m away! Will absolutely be booking again!”

About: Willing to take care of most any dogs of all shapes and sizes, while watching your home. I love all animals but am most fond of dogs :) Although I grew up with cats, I am not generally a cat person unless they are super chill/nice. My grandparents owned a pet store in Alameda when I was younger called "The Living Picture" and I had to feed/water all the animals, so I do have the experience, but I'd say more recently it's just been dogs and the occasional cat. Just let me know what you have, and I'll let you know my comfort level. :) I am willing to travel outside of my area (Dorrington/Big Trees) for pet sitting but would like to keep dog walking and drop-ins to my general area of Big Trees/Arnold/Murphys. If you do not live in those areas, then it would be a 1 hour minimum for all walking & drop-in services. I'm currently available full-time for pet/house sitting so I will be able to give both your beloved animal(s) and your home my full attention (as long as I'm not booked)! I will keep my calendar up to date so you can rely on what it says. While pet/house sitting I will walk and play with your fur-baby(s) as much as they like or can handle. I will also send photos to you on a daily basis! I am willing to do other things like pick up dog poop in your yard (if that is where they go), bring in mail, water plants, etc. My rates are set for everyday animals and not 'special needs', so if your doggie or cat needs special attention or has behavioral issues then my rate would go up and reflect the amount of extra care or attention your fur baby requires.

About: Hello, I am a pet sitter located in Mountain Ranch, serving Calaveras pet owners! I have been a pet owner since I was a child, mostly dogs and cats. I currently have two dogs who absolutely love making new friends and playing with other dogs. I also have an indoor/outdoor cat who is a shy boy until he gets to know the person or animal. I work at home, so I am here all the time. I have a few acres of well fenced in land, as well as a smaller fenced in backyard area. It’s really a dog’s dream land over here! I have one small dog and one large dog, both of whom are comfortable with and respectful to every size dog. My larger dog is amazing with puppies and is a gentle player, but can also play hard if the other dog is up for it. I guarantee your dogs will leave my house happy and tired!! I recently put down my dog of 15 years, so I have intimate knowledge of senior dog care as well. Unfortunately, I am not available for overnight stays at YOUR house, but I am happy to care for your babies at my home for a short or extended period of time. I am open to making day visits to your home depending on your proximity to me, so please feel free to reach out for those kinds of inquiries as well. If you have a unique situation, please feel free to tell me about it and we can see if we can find a situation that works for both of us! I will your treat your babies as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting them!! I work from home, so I am always here. I can care for your pet 24/7 and they will never be left inside for long. I have a large fenced in piece of land, with a smaller fenced in backyard. The fence has been reinforced for my own two escape artists, so they are well confined. My two dogs are very dog friendly and love to play. Your animal must be dog and cat friendly. My cat will most likely hide while your dog is here, but I don’t want to take any chances in case he decides to come out :)

“Snow had a good time and we got some great tips from your hubby about correcting bad pup behavior. We really appreciate your patience with our pup. Thanks so much!”
15. Claire W.
“I'm Claire's father. Before Claire was born, I was a regular guy with some knowledge of animals, but not a lot. Starting with a stray cat in our garage when she was three-years-old, who she kept and named Moonshadow, Claire was a natural at getting animals to trust her. Me, not so much because sometimes I didn't understand them, and whenever that happened they scared me a little. I was ready for them to react badly and had planned out my response ahead of time. The nervous animals could tell I was thinking this, and they stayed away. I watched little Claire control excited dogs at the park who were thrilled that someone understood them. I watched her calm scared stray cats who appreciated a rare petting and socializing. I started learning by copying Claire's technique of movement and body language to gain an animal's trust. It came together with practice, and you were either born with it or you learned it by example from an expert. Claire was born with it, and she has always been my go-to expert for animal problems.”

17. Chris R.
“Chris, who works from home, has lots of love for visiting dogs, Chris has a large backyard, for long runs, and an enclosed front porch, where my German Shepherd Bella can keep an eye on the world. We bring over Bella's grate and Chris has a dedicated quiet room for Bella at night. Bella loves to run around and Play with Chris' Chihuahua Charlie, hours of fun together. In summary, I couldn't recommend Chris more highly. If you want your dog to be spoiled with love, treated like royalty, and returned to you happier than a seagull with a stolen chip, then Chris is the dog-sitter for you. When I come to pick up Bella, she is having such a good time that she won't leave, for me this is the best sign. If there was a Nobel prize for 'Keeping Pet Parents Informed', Chris would be on the podium. Not only do I get regular updates on Bella's day, including meals, walks and naps, but Chris even sends me the occasional 'Bella's Pawgress Report' – a detailed analysis of how my darling Bella has been doing, complete with humorous anecdotes and occasional photos of Bella's escapades. I'm sure that Bella would write this recommendation herself if she could, but her paw-writing is terrible and she can't spell to save her life. So, I'm doing it for her. But believe me, if Bella could talk, she would say: "Woof woof woof, Chris. Woof woof!"”
18. Shuree A.
“Our one puppy and one geriatric border collie spent 2 days with Shuree and were relaxed and happy when we dropped them off and picked them up. Thank you Shuree for letting us play worry free around Arnold California.”
19. Jennifer D.
“A dog owner herself, Jennifer not only understand the details that come with caring for a pet, she really does adore animals and looks out for them!”
20. Jennifer J.
“It’s been a busy week and I feel late for this, but Jennifer was super great with us and our pup. She was able to watch our baby girl last minute and was so friendly and accommodating. She took lots of photos of Belle that are now some of my favorites. Thank you Jennifer for your care and patience with Belle!”
