About: Our dog Juju loves to play with Rover friends! Your dog will love our HUGE fenced backyard and single-level ranch home where they will be free to explore. We typically just take 1-2 dogs at a time and prefer longer stays where we can get to know them. We have special experience with senior dogs, cuddle bugs and high-energy pups (Tuula is a runner and makes frequent trips to nearby trails at Denman). Tuula works from home frequently and we both have weekends off. Until we get to know your dog we'll only take them on days that we can be home with them. On the weekends we usually head out for hikes or play time at the river. We will be with your dog 24/7 and pay attention to their needs. Multiple water sources are always available and we understand the importance of regular mealtimes! We expect reasonably good behavior and though we're not dog trainers, we'll be sure your dog understands the house rules (eg. no cat chasing) and will gently remind them as needed.

About: Dogs have always been part of my life, we always had a family dog or three growing up. After college I adopted a rescue into my own family. Our current dog Poppy was rescued at 6 months old, and just turned 9 years old. She's been professionally trained in truffle hunting. I'm a retired safety engineer and run a bed and breakfast on our property. This allows me take care of the dogs and the property all day long. We live on a few acres with our rescue dog Poppy. There is a fenced area where the dogs can play safely outside. There's also a large deck that the dogs love watching the wildlife from. I only accept up to two other dogs at a time so it's a quiet and relaxing setting in the country.

About: I started my first pet sitting business when I was just around 7-8 years old. I used to pet sit out here in the same area of Ruch. I grew up out here. As an adult now, with many of my own animals, I am now offering my services again. I rarely go anywhere because I do not like being away from home and my animals. I'm almost always available and close by (servicing only Ruch). I grew up with, and took care of, many kinds of animals; horses, donkeys, goats, dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, rabbits, etc. Being around animals gives me life and I love to help make animals feel special while their humans are away. It's already stressful for them, and for you too, so make it easier with someone who talks to them and makes sure that they feel special. I live at home with my hubby and he is adored by every animal that meets him. He even stole my main doggy daycare client! Know when animals are here, they're cherished by both of us. I have my own small businesses that I can work on anytime I feel like it from home, which gives me great flexibility. I am available to take care of critters in the Ruch area almost any day, minus some appointments that I have sometimes. When I'm not here, hubby is here to watch them. In my home: To protect my own cats and dogs, I need to ensure that your dog is friendly with my animals, vaccinated, and protected from fleas and ticks. Outside is fenced in with no climb fencing and acreage for roaming around our house, they get to let me know when they want to go outside, or come inside. My dogs knock on the door and tell me what they want (in or out). I'm sure they will teach your dog to do the same. When inside, we read, nap, cuddle on the couch, floor, in front of the wood stove, or in a crate if your dog desires. Outside, there are a couple of acres to run and explore. I spend all day tending to my dogs and can do this for yours too.

About: I’ve had pets as long as I can remember! I have 2 dogs and a cat now and understand the stress of finding a caring home while on vacation. I have experience with the extra care needed for senior dogs (our senior just passed this year. 😢) I work from home and can provide potty breaks for puppies and seniors that can’t hold it like they used to, as well as walks and play time. Being home means full supervision as well as plenty of check in pictures of your special fur baby. I have 2 dogs that will keep your pup company. We also have crates if reinforcing your current crate training routine is required. I do not have a fenced in yard, but live in a quiet community where I take my dogs for frequent walks.

“This was my first time using rover.com Cheryl was easy to communicate with, always answered emails, and she was open to having me meet with her and let my dog get familiar with her and her home before she stayed there. Cheryl has a very calming way and is very good with dogs. My dog had a fun safe time at her home while I was able to go out and not worry about my pet. Her house is on busy street, but Cheryl has a nice fenced back yard and fence in front too. I didnt worry about it after seeing her set up. I would bring my dog back there anytime. My dog had a great time with Cheryl and the ither dogs there.”

About: Since I was a child I have always had pets and still do. I love riding horses and caring for my furry friends. I can care for yours too I'm a stay at home parent and have lots of time for your dogs when you are in need of someone to care for your pet. I will be able to take your dog on walks and allow them to run and play. I can also accommodate special needs if required. I can also send pictures / video updates during the day.

I am available to check in on animals throughout the day or even take them for a walk! I like to make sure your pet is happy and taken care of whenever you are away. About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I have experience caring for an elderly pug. I have trained puppies and am willing to do whatever it takes to make sure any and all pets are happy and healthy. I love all breeds and am able to take any dog for a walk. I have administered medication and cared for sick and elderly dogs and cats. I am super friendly and seem to have a connection with animals. I am currently between jobs so my schedule is wide open at this particular juncture. I am an in home Healthcare provider and am going to be starting work again soon but I will be working 20 hours a week only so I will still have a lot of free time. My boyfriend, son and uncle live with me and they are just as reliable when it comes to pet care as I am. So when I do start working again, they'll be able to assist in pet care when I'm unavailable. I have a fenced yard and currently do not have dogs of my own. I do have one male black Bombay cat, two females cats and there are stray cats in the area where I live. I do have dog accessories as I did previously own a pug and was taking care of a family members black pit bull. I am well equipped for pet sitting purposes and am able to meet the needs of any dog or cat.

I’m the one everyone can trust & rely on even when it comes to bathing, feeding, walking, & giving some extra love I’m currently unavailable on sundays but throughout the week I’m available every day all up until 5pm but Mon-Sat anytime until 5pm works for me I have a fenced yard and a little kitty that’s super friendly but she likes her space sometimes so I would keep her in a separate space if needed
