About: I’m a lifelong pet owner and devoted pet parent with 4 cats and 2 Weimaraners. I have experience fostering, caring for sick pets, and giving medication. Loving, reliable, and ready to treat your pets like family. I work a part time job a few days a week but my schedule is flexible. I am able available to take overnight pet sitting jobs for long weekends within an hour drive from me. Mid week and longer stays need to be within 20-30 minutes of Burnsville. I care for pets just as their owners would—following your instructions closely and making sure routines, diets, and comfort are maintained. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.

About: I've worked in two different animal shelters as an animal caretaker. I learned so much from both jobs to help me in my pet sitting journey. I'll love on your babies and walk, feed and play with them. And I don't mind to clean up their messes! I work at a part time job in the mornings, so I'm available late morning to evenings most days, and on Sundays, I'll be available after church. I'm very dependable and trustworthy. About: I have volunteered at an animal rescue sanctuary for 10+ years. As a caretaker my duties at the sanctuary require demanding physical labor, housekeeping, and responsibilities of supervision over animals and other volunteers. We had over 100+ different types of animals and always have been around dogs and cats! They are my joy! I work 2 full time jobs but I have mornings, evenings and weekends open! I am looking for something that will fit into that kind of schedule. I have no animals at home. It is safe and a very clean environment. In general, I tend to feel more comfortable around dogs and cats than people and treat them all with dignity, respect, and love. I have had decades of experience with a variety of pets, from blind pugs to anxious mutts to timid cats and everything in between. As a middle-aged woman with many responsibilities and experiences, I am adept at managing a wide variety of pet tasks with conscientiousness and skill. I am a freelance writer and work only part-time from home, so I have an abundance of time to be fully in the moment with your pets and provide them quality care, supervision, and one-on-one attention. I have a wonderful husband who loves animals and 16-year old son (who also adores animals), and a 20-year-old son studying at Chapel Hill, who helps me with the dogs in my care when he is home for the summer and on breaks. Currently, I have a wonderful, small group of regular dogs who come for daycare most days of the week. I always make sure prospective dogs are a good fit with the group to ensure safety and an optimal experience for all the dogs. We love meeting new dogs and welcome having new playmates here at "Camp Dewdog." These guys have so much fun here, romp around the yard, hide in the shrubery, zoom around the porch, and go on walks in our Montford neighborhood to see the goats and chickens down the street or to the Reed's Creek Greenway, or Hummingbird Park. There's never a dull moment here, except when the pups are sacked out on our porch swing bed or lounging in the house on the sheepskin rugs. Your pets will be cared for with the same dedication and attentiveness as with my own pets. Dogs can either roam and lounge in our large Victorian home or frolic in our lush fenced yard and porch. Montford is also a lovely neighborhood to go on walks with dogs, with lots of parks nearby, resident goats and chickens down the street at our friends' house, and Reed's Creek Greenway just around the corner.

About: “I have taken care of dogs my whole life and currently have a sweet pug puppy named Willow. I love taking dogs on walks, giving them playtime, potty breaks, snuggles, and lots of attention. About: I have worked Animal Rescue, Fostering, Rehabilitation, and Adoptions the last 6 years! I understand pet parents, can easily follow instructions, and will stay alert to your pet needs! I will value your pet as I would my own! I currently work remotely, so I am extremely flexible. If not house sitting, I can make as many or little stops at your house as needed. I prefer to not board animals at my home. I do not have a fenced in yard, so it is not very suitable for a dog.

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats growing up. All have been taken care of from 2 months and onwards! About: Have had pets my entire life, bred multiple reptiles in the past, have had several dogs over the years, exotics, still have a 23 year old african grey who is my middle child who won't leave the nest, spent a decade volunteering at a no-kill shelter, multiple animal rescues, have worked in multiple veterinary offices, been vegetarian since 1997, worked as a vegan chef in several restaurants, and still love to cook for potlucks, friends and fun! I'm currently just working a few days a week in a restaurant, no other commitments. Plus it's the longest I've ever been without companion animal of my own, so I have extra time and love to give at the moment. Will follow the owners instructions to the tee, and more often than not spend additional time when possible. I'm currently without pets of my own which is rare for me, so I have an ample amount of attention and care to spare!

About: Hi! I'm Megan! As a former Kennel/Vet Tech with Vet Tech schooling and growing up with dogs, cats, horses and chickens, I have always had a special bond and connection to animals. I have experience with all kinds of different breeds and personalities! My husband, Josh, and I live in our camper van, so we are able to provide constant care for your pets while you're away. When you book us for overnight sits, we take care of your pets and stay in your home as a team of professional petsitters. Josh works remotely in IT, and I work some weekends in the wedding industry, so with no physical, daily job to go to and no house/pets of our own to check on, we are able to spend a significant amount of our time taking care of your pets. A bonus of our luxury care is that your pets will get double the love and attention from us throughout the day; our goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible and for them to hardly know you're gone! Living in a van and working remotely comes with so much flexibility for us and our Rover clients. Pet parents value the level of care we're able to provide with our nomadic lifestyle. Petcare is my full-time job, so when you book us for a housesit, that is my main priority. About: I have always loved and enjoyed caring for animals. My home has always had a four legged family member occupying space. From rabbits to pot belly pigs it’s such a joy to love and care for them. I’m currently a full time student that takes online classes. So my schedule is pretty free and flexible.
