“Robert is amazing, flexible and willing to help more than just walking the dog. When I had to deal with issues when I was in the hospital, he stepped up and was a blessing. I think my dog likes him more than me.”

About: Dogs are my passion.A dogs happiness is my happiness. I currently work at a dog daycare/boarding facility and I have worked with training dogs, dog sitting etc for a little over 4 years. I currently work part time, and watch, walk and welcome dogs anytime after 12 on the weekdays and anytime on the weekends. Your pet will be more than welcome and I’ll accommodate your pet anyway I can. I have a fenced in yard, and two amazingly friendly dogs, also I can crate your dog if you prefer. I have a large kennel, or if you prefer to bring your own. Whatever the client prefers.

“Maria was great! Communicative, friendly, and reliable, good with dogs. Handled our large skittish but friendly dog very well for a productive walk (and they had never met!). Such a help when we were visiting from out of town but away for the evening. Thank you so much for the good communication and peace of mind.”

About: I have always had multiple dogs in the household growing up. I have raised and trained many puppies for myself and others. I am patient, loving, and attentive to each dog’s individual needs. I understand the importance of keeping pets safe, happy, and comfortable while their owners are away. I treat every pet like my own and will make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, and care. I typically work 3 days a week as a registered nurse, and my workdays vary from week to week. This gives me flexibility on my days off to care for your pets. I can coordinate my availability with your needs and will always communicate clearly about scheduling. I have 4 fur babies of my own! Two are small and two are medium to large-sized dogs (all can be crated in their own room if need be). They are part of my family, and I understand how important it is to provide pets with a safe, loving, and comfortable environment. I will treat your pets with the same care and attention I give my own. I follow feeding instructions, respect each pet’s routine, and make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, and supervision. I am happy to discuss any special needs, preferences, or concerns you may have so you can feel confident leaving your pets in my care.

About: I have been raised alongside animals all my life. I've had dogs for as long as I remember ranging from pitbulls to great danes, and from chihuahuas to jack russells. I'm actually attending school to become a veternarian due to my unwavering attention of animals of all kinds. Pet care is a natural part of our daily family life. As a parent and a pet owner myself, our home is always filled with love and structure. We specialize in boarding, daycare, and drop-in visits, so your pup will instantly become a part of our routine. We don't have a fenced yard, but we do have a massive open field perfect for leashed exploration, long-line fetch, and active outdoor time! Whether socializing with my dog, playing with my child, or running in the field, your pup will be safe, happy, and loved. Pet care is a natural part of our daily family life. As a working parent who is also in school, our home operates on a reliable, structured routine built around my baby's schedule and my daily commitments. My school schedule is about to become much busier, I am highly focused on managing my time effectively. Please note that I may not always be able to respond to text messages immediately while I am in class or focused on work, but I will always check in and provide updates as soon as I am free! Because our days are busy, your pup will get a highly active experience—on days when I am completely washed with school or work activities, I often bring my guest pets along with me so they get extra socialization, stimulation, and real-world fun! My Care Standards: Boarding & Daycare (In My Home): Guest pets enjoy supervised playtime with my dog, kid-friendly interactions, and leashed outdoor exercise in our large open field. All guest dogs must be friendly with children and other pets. House Sitting (In Your Home): My house sitting service is primarily an overnight stay focused on evening companionship and morning routines, supplemented by a reliable midday check-in rather than constant 24/7 care. Drop-In Visits: I provide reliable, structured check-in blocks tailored around my daily routine to ensure consistent potty breaks, meals, and companionship in your pet's own home.I prioritize clear communication, strict safety, and a predictable routine for every pet in my care!

I carefully manage each guest to ensure every dog receives plenty of attention, exercise, and a safe, enjoyable experience. Additional Care & Scheduling To keep things fair and transparent, additional charges may apply when a stay requires significantly more time, supervision, or specialized care than standard boarding. 🐾 Medication administration: $5/day for routine oral or topical medications. More involved medication administration, including injections or medications requiring significant additional time, may be subject to a higher fee. 🐾 Intact dogs: A $5/day surcharge may apply to unspayed or unneutered dogs due to the additional supervision and management required in a multi-dog home. 🐾 Early/late pickup or drop-off: A $15 fee may apply when arrival or departure falls outside the agreed-upon scheduling window. 🐾 Pickups after 6 pm are subject to an additional overnight boarding fee. 🐾 Last-minute bookings: Bookings requested within 24 hours of drop-off are subject to a $20 last-minute booking fee. 🐾 Daycare over 8 hours: Daycare stays exceeding 8 hours are subject to the regular overnight boarding rate. 🐾 Pickup/drop-off transportation: Transportation may be available by arrangement for an additional fee. I’ll always communicate any applicable additional charges with you before modifying a booking whenever possible. My goal is to keep everything transparent while making sure every dog receives the time and attention they deserve. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I can provide care before and after work and come home at lunch for walks or check-ins. I dedicate my weekends entirely to being at home with pets. I prioritize safety by ensuring a pet-proof environment in my home and following all instructions provided by owners. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I maintain a clean, calm, and comforting space. I’m reliable and treat every pet as if they were my own.

FAQs for Dog Walking - Mulberry

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Mulberry. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route, the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.

The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in Mulberry after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.

Have specific details you would like included? Message your dog walker in the app before the walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
