“Run don’t walk, book now with confidence. Our dogs greeted us seeming very well-adjusted (a big deal especially for our older dog who generally lives life with blinders on. Claire clearly made them both feel comfortable, confident and at ease. It was a treat to come home to the bedding changed, laundry folded and dishwasher ran. A delightful and sweet note awaited us AND she reached out to inquire if we got home safely. I feel fortunate to have found her.”

“Candice did a very nice job house/dog sitting for 10 days. Everything was well attended and the dogs were happy and healthy. Despite a massive wind storm on the first day that took down a major part of a large tree and knocked out the electricity for 4 hours, Candice communicated with us and managed what might have been a very difficult time. We would definitely have her come again.”

While I am fairly new to Rover, I can provide references upon request. I just turned 65 in February, so your pets will get a lot of my undivided attention, especially if I'm house-sitting for you. I'm pretty much a homebody, though I do very much enjoy walking everyday, especially with canine friends! I will care for your pets in your home in a manner in which they are accustomed. When it comes to dogs no breed is bad. I especially love the giant cuddly pups! Not only am I trustworthy but I am reliable for you and your pets! I have experience with all sizes and breeds, aggressive dogs, anxious dogs, senior dogs, puppies, dogs who need medications cats/kittens, and I even have little dog training experience + advanced dog behavior knowledge. When staying in your home I stay very tidy and clean up well after myself and the pets. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to message me. I hope to meet you and your pups soon 🐕🤍 I have plenty of time to care, play, and love on your pets! When your animals are in my care they are my first priority! I always love getting details/instructions on how your routine is with your dog so I can stay the closest to your dogs routines. Dogs are based off of structure and I know how important a routine is to them. Like mentioned, I am experienced with many types of dogs including aggressive. In my care, dogs will always be safe and in a positive environment. Please be sure to let me know of any special diets + allergies that your pets have.

About: My journey with animals started early. I got my very own puppy when I was 12 years old and took her through all the training classes, determined to be the best little dog owner I could be. Since then, my love and care for animals has only grown stronger. In my adult life, I've raised two amazing pups. My sweet boy Ozzie, a shih tzu/bichon frisé mix, crossed the rainbow bridge in late 2024 after a brave battle with cancer. Now I share life with my little guy Tobie — a toy poodle/mini schnauzer mix who's been with me since he was just 20 weeks old. He's now 7, full of personality, and spoiled with love (as it should be!). Outside of pet care, I’m a wife, a mom to a fun-loving toddler, and I work a full-time job during weekday hours (roughly 9–5). That said, I still have a flexible schedule and am more than happy to carve out time for your furry friends. Whether you need a reliable dog walker, a drop-in buddy, or a caring house sitter, I’ve got you covered. I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pets — someone who will care for them like you do. When your pets are with me, they’re treated like family, because that’s exactly what they are. While I currently don’t offer pet sitting in my home until I’ve built a relationship with your pet, I’m more than happy to care for them in their own familiar space. I’ll follow your routines, respect your house rules, and do everything I can to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and maybe even like they're the ones on vacation! 😊

Makena G.
“Makena is a life long lover of all animals. I have frequently called her "the animal wisperer." She somehow has a second sense about her that even the most timid, anxious, abused, and neglected animals seem to connect and immediately feel safe with her. My super protective and anxious Australian shepherd would go absolutely bonkers at the mention of her name. They had a special connection that not many could develop with my crazy guy! Her huge heart for the love she shares with animals has made her an amazing person. Sometimes the love of a pet and their love for you is the best connection and one of the most meaningful types of relationships we develop in life. Blair her dog is treated better than most humans and Makena is her best friend! She loves playing in the water, taking rides, going on trails. Makena is the owner, but Blair is the boss! She does anything and everything to keep her at her happiest. Makena's extensive history for working with other people's most precious pets makes her an exceptional candidate for this position. I have no doubt that Makena will excel! As I have noted, with her love of animals, devotion to the happiness of animals, and caring heart, she will without a doubt win over her client's and their pets!”

Sarah T.
“Sally (Sarah) has been our go to pet sitter for well over 20 yrs. caring for multiple dogs and kitties. She has helped us out with short term pop-in visits as well as long term situations involving trips of several weeks. Sally is meticulous with schedules, medications, and leaving notes for what she and the fur babies have done each day. Sally is not the type to just breeze in, put food out, and leave. She spends time with them either outside playing in the yard, or taking walks, or just hanging out with them if it’s an unreasonably cold day. We are very close to our animals, and one of the worst things imaginable is that they’d think we had abandoned them. Luckily, when “Aunt Sally” is on board, we’re assured that they won’t be missing us so much. Highly recommended!”

Haleigh A.

“My dogs absolutely love Haleigh! When I’m gone, I have zero worries about how my babies are being cared for. She sends me updates daily and always includes cute pics of what my pups are doing.”
