“Bridget did an amazing job with a very stubborn Pomsky! 💖 I would recommend her to anyone that wants exceptional pet care! Thank you so much! Love, Michele and Mia”

About: We’ve always been big dog people. Growing up around dogs taught us just how much love, attention, and care they truly need and we genuinely believe pups shouldn’t be left alone for long stretches. That’s why we’re passionate about helping others give their dogs the fun, companionship, and consistent care they deserve when life gets busy. We both adore dogs (they honestly make us so happy and bring us a ton of joy), and we’d be excited to play, cuddle, and keep your pup feeling safe and loved. Over the years, friends and family have trusted us again and again to care for their dogs, whether they’re out of town or just need a helping hand. We also enjoy training, and we’re always patiently working on new tricks and good habits with our golden retriever, Daisy! We have amazing work flexibility. We can work around people's schedules. It would just be a matter of coordinating between me and the owner of the pup. In our home, your dog will have a safe, closed fenced backyard to run and play, plenty of toys, and the company of our friendly golden retriever, Daisy. We keep preventive dog meds on hand for things like allergies, and your pup will always have access to fresh water, food, and a variety of treats.
“Emily is a great pet sitter! She stayed at our house with 4 dogs and 1 cat for 5 days. She has a good understanding of dog behavior and is at ease with them. We have a dog who is hesitant to go to anyone new (and sometimes anyone familiar), he had no problems going to Emily on her first visit here. We have another dog with a behavior issue, in talking with Emily about it we learned that she is knowledgeable about this issue and had no problems with the dog while she was at our house. While we were gone, Emily informed us about a problem at the house which I appreciated. The house was clean when we returned home and the pets were happy. The pictures we received of our pets while we were gone were good and we were reassured everything was going well. We will for sure use her services again and I recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter.”

“Ashely was incredible!!! She gave great updates and was very easy to communicate with. My dog loved her! She also took fantastic care of my apartment while I was gone. I will for sure be booking with Ashley again! Thanks for everything Ashley!!!”

“Maggie is awesome! She kept us updated with pictures and notes every day we were away. Our dog, Lucy, seemed to get along really well with her dog, Willow. It was really sweet to see them play together in videos. I would definitely trust Maggie to take care of our pets again.”

“He was so patient with our Akita, friendly and loved that he sent pictures. Great communication and went above and beyond when an unexpected & perishable package arrived . I have already booked him for a second time!”

“Brittany took good care of Ozzy and made sure he had plenty of playtime and attention during her visit. Communication was clear, and everything went smoothly overall. I would consider booking her again!”

“Kathy has been absolutely wonderful to work with! I have two dogs, a senior Vizsla and young Boston Terrier. I hired Kathy to pet sit for three days, several hours each day. Kathy went above and beyond to make my pets feel comfortable! She engaged with them, sent pictures throughout the day and let me know how they were doing. She also had great communication prior to the booking. I will definitely hire Kathy again.”

“Brianna stepped in as an emergency sitter for our dogs while we were on vacation. She didn’t hesitate to come to their rescue last minute. Our dogs (or us) never had the opportunity to meet her beforehand and we came home to happy dogs! I can’t express my gratitude enough and the fact she was able to give me the peace of mind that I needed.”

About: Please let me walk your dog! Anyone around me will tell you that I will look for their pets before I tour their home. Needless to say, I enjoy being around animals. I have cared for the pets of family, friends, and neighbors since 2012. My family first adopted dogs in 2018, and I adopted my first cat of my own in 2022. I have also adopted my own rodents in 2005 and 2017. I have raised, trained, and cared for dogs ranging from puppies to seniors, from toy-sized to giant (horse-sized). I have also cared for cats from kittens to adults, ranging from runts to Maine Coons. I am comfortable giving medications, providing close monitoring, and handling emergencies. I am able to provide the appropriate amount of care, energy, maintenance, and attention for your pet. I have gone through my own journey of improving and optimizing the way I care for animals over the years. Currently, I care for three adult cats: my cat Willow and my roommates’ cats, Juneau and Olympia. I also help care for two dogs at my family’s home—one senior and one young adult. I am a morning person who enjoys being outside, as well as staying cozy indoors and staying up late. I am an open book, so please feel free to ask me any questions. As long as you are willing to communicate openly, I am willing to work with you. :) I care for any and all animals as if they were my own blood. I have experience with aggressive pets of my own in the past and encounters with aggressive animals. I worked as a lifeguard manager at my home city pool for 4–5 years, so I have extensive previous training in first aid and emergencies for humans. I am comfortable providing medications, close monitoring, and handling emergencies. I have had emergencies with pets of my own, so I know what steps are necessary and when help is needed. I have been able to care for animals with a variety of personalities, from extremely anxious or shy, to very outgoing and energetic. I deeply love and care for animals, and I want them to be able to enjoy their time apart from their owners as comfortably and happily as possible. I share a townhouse with my two friends currently; we each have our own cats. Their cats have not been around dogs before, so at this time I am unable to offer canine care services in my own home. I would have to provide feline care services in my own home on a case-by-case basis, so feel free to inquire! I care for any and all animals as if they were my own blood. Mount Vernon pet parents share their Rover experiences
Lily responded quickly to my initial request for an overnight stay with my German Shepherd and was even willing to do a meet-and-greet before I went out of town to make sure Isa was comfortable with her and that went great. Lily asked lots of questions and really seemed interested in getting to know Isa. Lily arrived when she said she would the day I left and Isa was very excited to see her again. She sent photos and updates of how Isa was doing each day and everything went very smoothly. Lily took Isa out for walks, played with her in my fenced yard, and was even able to give Isa her meds along with her food which I really appreciated. I am really happy to have found a sitter that I can depend on and one that truly seemed to enjoy spending time with my dog as well. I'll definitely be using Lily to watch Isa again in the future!
